Seattle’s Weird
by mermaid2bseeker

A Supernatural, Reaper crossover.

The brothers crept up on the portly spirit making sure to stay behind, the bushes. Chef Bougeou was very particular about how food was cooked when he was alive, and now that he was dead he was killing everyone who had insulted his restaurant.

The spirit would sneak into the people’s homes and poison the food in their refrigerators. Of course the ME had ruled they had died of necrotizing faciitis. Dean snorted, the authorities wouldn’t know a curse if it bit them on the –

“Dean! Look!” Sam whispered and gestured.

Dean poked his head around the bush and watched as a car squealed to a stop and a man ran out of the passenger side. Dean saw the man approach the spirit. He was about to yell at him to get out of the way, when the spirit snarled in rage.

“I won’t go back to hell,” the chef shouted and materialized a butcher knife from thin air and threw it at his confronter.

“Look out!” the driver yelled as the man dropped to the ground. The knife sailed over his head, embedded itself in a tree.

The man shouted “Thanks Sock! That helped!” sarcastically. He jumped to his feet and charged at the spirit. He held some sort of rod in his hand like a club.

The chef created another knife and the man used the rod to block the downward slash. As soon as the knife connected, red lightning arched around the spirit. The lightning shriveled and the spirit disappeared.

Dean’s jaw dropped in amazement. The man ran back to the car, as the driver shouted “woo-hoo!” As they left, Dean thought he heard “Step on it Sock. DMV’s almost closed.” The car sped off down the street.

After a few minutes of stunned silence, Sam asked, “was that a rolling pin?”

Dean nodded. “I think it was.”

“Huh…Seattle’s weird.”
