5. Unbreakable (Pre Convergence)

She didn’t even know I existed. Simple as that.

Cecilia Maybelle. But she went by the stunted name of “Ari.” That girl seemed almost made of glass, but I had seen her after she beat the shit out of some football player who had done… something. I didn’t know. She had walked into marching band, a black-eye and split lip not hidden and she was clearly limping. However, as it had taken place off school grounds, no one cared. And she marched that day, and the competition the next day flawlessly.

She was unbreakable. And I was not.
