FINDING MYSELF- TO TE COTTAGE!

It was a sunny day, every team had only one chance to celebrate holidays, and it was Christmas. Team 7 and 10 rented a log cabin, team 8, and team Gai helped with food and some stuff, it was going to be a good one week vacation, everybody was really looking forward to it.

“Okay then kids, as you know, the trip is tomorrow and we’ll need to set up some other things, that’s why today, we teachers won’t be coming with you to your missions.”

Kakashi, the gray haired and the jounin in charge of team 7, being the most charismatic between the guys, he would be supposed to be in charge of everything, from transportation, to the kid’s security.

“Also, we remind you that you don’t force yourself during today, because tomorrow is soing to be a long and tiring day, since vacation starts just the day we are in.” Said Kurenai, the red eyed and black haired woman who was leading team 8

“Hmm … okay then ….so what about if we j-just do easy d-rank missions just for today…?” Said Hinata, the most shy and timid of the girls, in an extremely low voice that was almost hearable.

“Eh?! Why would we do that?! Do you think we can’t manage something easy as a C or D one?! Who do you think we are Hinata?” Said Naruto, he really didn’t like the idea of an easy mission, since he was already used to danger, and was careless all the time.

“I-I’m sorry …”

“Actually I felled like suggesting the same, I mean, if we get ourselves in a complicated mission, is gonnna take a lot, and we are just not going to have time to rest!” Said Sakura.

“Well! If Sakura-chan says it’s okay then I’m okay!” said Naruto with a huge smile.

“Okay then, stop mumbling and let’s get out already dobe”. Said Sasuke, the cool guy from team 7, while he started walking away.

Everybody thought it was a good idea and so they got into very simple missions and returned home.

--NEXT MORNING

“WAKE THE HELL UP NARUTO!!”

“Huh…? Sakura-Chan…? WAH!”

Naruto was punched right in the face, leaving a little blood spill out of his nose.

“DAMNIT NARUTO! WE ARE HALF OF AN HOUR LATE BECAUSE OF YOU!”

Said the pink haired girl very pissed off. She was in front of his bed, with a backpack and a really heavy red cloak, a little yellow head band that covered her forehead, and a pink scarf. There were also Sasuke and Kakashi sensei there ,both with blue clothes as if they where waiting the whole time.

“CRAP! Sorry guys! I’m not that used to getting up early on vacation you see…”

then he scratched the back of his head.

“I’LL BE DOWN IN A SECOND!”

“Hey dobe wai-” Tried to say Sasuke, but was interrupted by a light speeding naruto.

“…he’s still on pajamas isn’t he?” Said Kakashi sensei with a sweat drop and his eye rolling. “Gee, such an annoying idiot!” Said Sakura.

Sasuke just sighed : “three…two…one…”

“MY CLOTHES!” Naruto entered the room in a rush.

“I’LL BE DOWN IN FIVE MINUTES! JUST TELL EVERYBODY THAT!”

He pushed the three of them out and changed into an orange puffy sweater and blue pants, there really wasn’t any change for what he was wearing actually.

“Okay, now that we are all ready, we should go to the cottage, we have only two cars (please, I know cars didn’t existed back then, just use your imagination ‘kay? ;)

So, team 7 and 8 shall go together, and team 10 and team Gai on the same car. You all got it?” Asked Kakashi, while he looked at his book with a districted look.

“Troublesome, I’d rater stayed at home sleeping than being here boring myself out…” Said Shikamaru yawning.

“That would make us two…” Thought Naruto, rubbing his eyes.

“Hey Sakura-Chan… can I-?”

“NO, YOU WON’T SIT NEXT TO ME”

“O-Okay then…” Damnit…

Then Sakura approached Sasuke.

“Sasuke-kun will you-”

“I’m actually going to co-pilot with kakashi sensei Sakura, so that would be a no.” Sasuke said this whit his really usual cold tone.

“Can we go now? Akamaru is freezing!” Said Kiba, holding his little dog tightly.

“We are going to go when we are instructed, until then keep quiet.” Said Shino with a voice that expected authority.

Hinata just looked at Naruto sighed.

We are going on a trip al together… I feel so happy that Nauto-kun can be able to spend Christmas with us… She thought releasing a small smile while she seated in the seat that was next to the window. (Kakashi’s car was a panel, or something big… please don’t blame, I don’t know a thing about cars U)

“Hinata! Why so quiet? Hey is it okay if I sit here? You are near of the sit with calefaction and all…” Said Naruto getting Kiba out of the way and sitting next to the girl.

“e-eh? O…of course Naruto-kun… b-because…well…ummm….” Hinata was very nervous, it was going to be a three hour trip, and Naruto was going to be right next to her the whole way.

“I’m taking that as a yes then!” Said Naruto with a smirk.

“O-okay” Hinata returned a smile.

“Ready everyone? No trips to the bathroom? Did you bring anything to eat? Because neither Gai or I’ll will stop.” Asked Kakashi sensei with his hands at the drive.

“READY!” the two cars answered cheerfully.

Both motors started to make some loud sounds and finally they parted. In Kakashi’s car they where all talking or sleeping, and on Gai’s car, there was loud music, Lee singing the “I love rock and roll” theme all over again, Gai making some dangerous maneuvers with the car, and the rest was sleeping or covering their ears.

However Hinata felt like she wanted to never get out of the car because… Naruto was so sleepy, he accidentally closed his eyes and felled asleep resting his head on Hinata’s shoulder. Hinata was dead happy on the inside but she felt kind of embarrassed by the fact that everyone from her team was there, but most of it, she knew she was happy.

“I better enjoy this… for the three hours left…before I get back to reality…”

Hinata though, while she carelessly left her head next to Naruto, also falling asleep…
