Field of Flowers, a Vampire Knights fanfic

Title: Field of Flowers

Summary: Kaname-sama promised me when I was a child that he would take me to the field surrounded with flowers ten years later. He said that the flowers only bloom 10 years each, and I was very happy to find that he would really take me there when both of us grow up. It is true after all.

Kaname and Yuuki married after everything ended. With the end of everything, all of them could start anew. After their marriage, they were given a pair of twins! One was a female, and another was a male. Both have the signature looks of both of their parents. However to Kaname, his daughter has the looks of Kuran Juuri, his mother, whether or not they were really related or not.

Kuran Yuuto and Kuran Haruko, the twins of Kuran Kaname and Kuran Yuuki. Both looked very beautiful. As they opened their eyes, the deep red eyes show the Kuran looks in them. It was beautiful, Yuuki thought. She could never have an idea that her children could be as beautiful as this. It was amazing to Yuuki indeed.

As Yuuki had lost her memories, Kaname spent his time telling her everything that she should know of. The truth that she was not his real younger sister had been told, this is to avoid Yuuki’s feelings to mix up with everything that has been happening all this time. Kaname knew that he wished he was her real older brother, but then again, his feelings of love towards her, it changed everything.

“It was true that I said I wished I was your older brother, but when both of us were small, we were just children, what do we know about the word ‘love’? If you question some young children near by, they would answer nothing since the word ‘love’ was just too big for them. Everything started and ended so soon when we were young, of course, I felt like an older brother. After mother told me to protect you, it was like a brother protecting his sister. However, as we grow up and you were distant from me, I felt ache in my heart. I missed you, Yuuki”.

Yuuki stunned when she heard Kaname’s confession. All this time, she wouldn’t mind if she was betrayed by Kaname, but then again, she was happy that he didn’t betray her. Tears were in her eyes and not long after, the tears fell on her face and she cried. Kaname stood and wiped her tears with his large and smooth hands. His face was calm and showed no signs of worried, he was glad that he told her the truth.

“Kaname-sama, all this time, all this time! My feelings to you, no wonder why I felt as if we were close, and nothing can ever keep us apart!” cried Yuuki as she hugged Kaname tightly. Kaname accepted the hug and caressed her hair as he calmed her down. It was not a sibling’s love, but a true love, that nothing can say it was wrong, it was not forbidden for them.

Yuuki released the hug, and smiled as her tears disappeared from her face. “Thank you, Kaname-sama. Thank you so much, for protecting me from everything that can hurt my very own self. I’m sorry that you have to take everything into yourself, please don’t keep any secrets from each other, please don’t anymore. I love you, Kaname-sama. I love you” said Yuuki as she touched Kaname’s face. She saw his face, his hair, his eyes, his lips, everything about him.

She leaned forward and together, they shared a kiss. A true love kiss.

As Kaname promised her 10 years ago, he took her to the field surrounded with blooming pink flowers. Yuuki was crying in happiness as she took a step on the field. It was beautiful, like a heaven! She looked at Kaname’s face, and smiled with a high regard. She ran towards him and hugged him as they kissed, again! Of course, husband and wife, they were not forbidden to share a kiss or anything intimate.

Kaname took Yuuki’s hands and together they ran around the field, laughing and hugging together until both of them fell to the ground itself. The wind blowing created a wonderful intimate moment between the two. Kaname looked at Yuuki’s eyes as she looked at his. It was beautiful; both of them shared the same thought. They cuddled together and kissed romantically.

They were not alone after all. The twins had come with them but the parents left them alone in the car. The twins opened the door and stepped out. They saw the wonderful field and ran towards their parents, without being discovered! They tiptoed and jumped on both Kaname and Yuuki as they surprised them.

“Surprised!!” cried the children, Haruko and Yuuto. They scrambled to their feet when Kaname got up and ran after them. Yuuki got up a bit later and laughed when she saw the children with their father. She was happy to see those two playing on Kaname, since after all, the twins resembled one another and both took from them. It was beautiful and even much beautiful in the wonderful field.

“Kaname, thank you so much for everything!” cried Yuuki as she got up and ran after the three people who was a few meters far from her. Yuuki was wearing a wonderful pink dress, with wools around the neck and sleeves. As soon as she got to the three of them, she hugged all of them as they laughed and smooch each other.

Kuran Haruko, 6 years old. Her older brother, Yuuto was also 6 years old. Both shared the same dark brown hair and the shade of deep red for their eyes. Haruko followed the traits of Kuran Juuri, her own grandmother, who had a very cheerful and brilliant personality. As for Yuuto, he followed his grandfather, Haruka very much. Of course, the usual hair between the nose, it was always there for all males in Kuran clan. Yuuto was a lot quieter, like Kaname when he was a child, but he can act like his sister when it’s the time for them to get into trouble.

Ten years had passed, and many things changed for them. Kaname and Yuuki both had grown up. Kaname’s hair was still long, but he kept it that way and still has the coolness inside him. Yuuki’s hair had grown longer unlike the hair she had when she was in Cross Academy. As soon as she got her vampire traits back, she turned a bit different. Although Yuuki was still clumsy, at least, she has a place within the vampires. All the vampires respected her, as well as respecting Kaname like the usual.

Yuuki was happy with how everything turned out. Kaname managed to make her felt safe in his arms, and his lips kept her wanting more of him, she cannot resist it at all. When she realized she was pregnant with the twins, it really made her excited. She chose not to tell Kaname as she planned to make his future children as surprises. However, Kaname was not an idiot; he knew it from the start. He knew she was not feeling well as she always had that morning sickness and in the end, she told him the truth.

He was glad, and to Yuuki, it was fine with her. No more secrets, which was what she told Kaname years ago. No more secrets and he finally knew she was with child.

It brought tears to Yuuki’s eyes when she thought about it again. She looked at the twins and felt weird. Everything felt safe when Kaname’s around. Kaname gave her happiness, and on top of that, he gave her the children she wanted most. The children he was playing with, their children, their future generation, their heirs, their everything.

Kaname realized that Yuuki was crying. He turned his face towards her and smiled. He knew what her tears meant for. He took his children’s hands and together they walked towards her. They sat around her and Kaname wiped her tears, and he brought her closer and kissed her deep. The children closed their eyes and imagined a very wonderful beginning for them in the future.

Author’s Note: I was listening to the song by A Touch of Class, otherwise known as ATC. The song that I was listening to was “ I’m in Heaven (When You Kiss Me) ”. The song was really beautiful and I enjoyed listening to the song, again and again. The song made me remembered Kaname and Yuuki relationship, and it grow even stronger when Kaname promised Yuuki to take her to the field where the flowers bloomed once every 10 years. It was beautiful and the song matched well with the situation.
