(AN- This is my own version of J.O.N.A.S.! and I don’t own JB, but I do own the main character and I’ll give her name out in the first chapter cuz I don’t wanna ruin it. I know it’s short and I promise it’ll get longer but it’s just a tester for me. Tell me if its good or bad. Thanks!)
Prologue
Run-Ins
Busting out in some expertly choreographed moves, the slim brunette girl with smoky gray eyes was jamming to her turquoise blue iPod nano strapped to her right forearm with matching blue Jelly earphones. It was the day before school started for her sophomore year at Roosevelt High School in southern California. It was her year, the year the Tiger Sharks would take it all.
People who knew her smiled in amusement as they watched the girl, it was the last day of summer and she was living it out easily.
She wore a pair of jean shorts, a sliming tank top, and her favorite pair of Converse as she browsed through the store selections at the local mall. She stepped into PacSun and almost immediately slammed head first into some guy, the girl hastily pulled out her earphones. “I’m so sorry.” She apologized with a soft, sincere look.
“Hey, it’s alright.” The guy laughed, his mop of curls bobbing up and down as he nodded.
“My mom tells me that’s what I get for listening to music all the time.” The girl flashed him a dazzling smile.
The guy nearly melted as he scanned the girl carefully, she looked about 5’5, slim, she must jog or something, brunette with natural blonde streaks, and smoky gray eyes, as he opened his mouth to say something, the phone hooked to the side of her shorts rang loudly. The girl gave him a small smile before she unhooked her phone, stepped a few feet away, and answered the phone. “Hello?”
“PacSun. Why?”
“I just got here.”
“Maybe.” She shrugged with a mischievous smile.
“Ok, fine.” She sighed. “Yeah, bye mom.”
The guy instantly knew she had to go somewhere. “Have to go?” He managed to say.
“Yeah, sorry. Moms.” She sighed as she prepared to leave.
“Wait, I never got your name.” The guy protested.
She lifted an eyebrow. “How about a number instead, then you can have my name?” She offered with a flirty smile.
“That works too.” The guy stammered, taking out his phone and snapping a picture of her and they exchanged numbers.
“See you later, Curly.” The girl said before she disappeared.
