Love Will Find A Way

(A Sessh & Kag Fan Fiction One Shot)

Part One

“In a perfect world, one we’ve never known, We would never need to face the world alone.”

She walked through the forest knowing that she was doing something that none of the others would under stand. It wasn’t for them to even try, it was her choice. She had learned to see with eyes that they couldn’t. Her heart pure and strong raced in her chest knowing that was she was doing was dangerous. At the same time her mind told her that she would be safe even as she walked into the area that he was in. She didn’t say a word to him just sat there and looked at the sky with him. She wanted to talk to him though and get to know him more. Granted she wanted life with him but knew that he would never allow that to happen. She looked at the stars and wanted to wish for her dreams to come true but knew that childish things like that never happened. She would have to find a way to make him see that they weren’t all that different after all.

Naraku was gone there was nothing left to fight for but he was still close to them. She didn’t understand why it was that he had stayed but she was grateful that he had. She didn’t have to go too far to find him. It almost seemed like he wanted to be around her but at the same time he didn’t want to say anything to her about it, she would allow him that part of the silence but then again she wanted to talk to him. These meetings and talks had been going on for about a year. She had never asked him why it was she that he had decided to talk to. She took it as she did everything else in her life and allowed it to continue. She liked to be in his presence. She felt safe almost wanted at times but she knew that he didn’t really want her there at times. At the same time she had come to the conclusion that if he didn’t want her around he wouldn’t come near them so that she could make it to him on her own. She always felt safe when she left to see him but didn’t know why. After all this time she still wanted to be around him.

His hair shone in the moonlight tonight silver waves moving around him glistening in the night like the waves in the stream in front of them. His eyes almost appeared to be warm in the moonlight; something that she had noticed in the time that she had been coming to see him. That first meeting had been something that she would never forget but at the same time it was now that she wanted to concentrate on. She wanted to remember every moment that they spent with each other even though she knew that he would only walk away from her when he decided that he had been there long enough. She hated that part but knew that she would once again join the others wishing that the dreams that she had of him were real.

How could he not know that she wanted more from him than what it was that he was willing to give to her? She had tried so many times to tell him but couldn’t. The words would get stuck in her throat and all she would be able to do was clear her throat and choke on the words that begged her to be said. Why didn’t she fight him for what it was that she wanted? Was it that she knew that they would never work out? She couldn’t hold on to hopes that he had more than crushed many times in the time that she had known him. Now more than ever though she wanted to tell him that there could be more if they could see beyond all that others thought about them and what it was that they were. She had to say something to him though their silences didn’t bother him all that much she wanted to hear his voice.

“It is a beautiful night don’t you think.”

“If that is something that you enjoy.”

“I like the company that I am in more than the night but you knew that didn’t you?”

“You wouldn’t have come if you didn’t.”

“Have you ever thought about more?” she asked him. She watched his handsome face as it turned to her. She wanted to drown in those eyes and lay her life in his hands. At the same time she knew that he wouldn’t take it. He had told her right after the battle with Naraku that he found her to be an asset to the world around her even if he didn’t tell her exactly how he had come to that conclusion. In all honesty she was scared to find out what he did mean. She took it as he had said it and didn’t look for more reasons for what he had said. She couldn’t she knew that he wouldn’t tell her but at the same time it had given her hope that there might be a chance no matter how small that he found something in her that he liked.

“More what?” he asked watching her closely for her reaction to his question

“More from life, “ she answered, “you know love a family a mate, that kind of thing I am sure that you have thought about it once or twice in your life. What do you look for in one that you what?” she asked

“I have found that which I can not have though in it I have found all that I require.” He answered turning away from her looking to the stars once again.

“What do you mean you can not have? Any woman would want you. What is she like?” she asked though she knew that if she was right her heart would break.

“An angel though she doesn’t know that I think of her that way. There is no reason for her to know nothing can be done about the fact that we wouldn’t last.” He answered

she felt honored that he had told her even that much. They had never talked about what they wanted out of their lives. They had both assumed that the other knew that they didn’t want to talk about it. She had taken a shot in the dark and found that he didn’t mind talking about some things that they never had before. She wanted to know more about the one that he had found to be worthy of his heart even though he had not said as much as that. She wanted to be someone that he trusted and in order for that to happen she might have to push him a little to find out the things that she wanted. It was time that they learned to place faith in the other so that they could have the deeper relationship that she wanted but she knew that he didn’t. He wouldn’t give her what she wanted out of her life but at the same time maybe she could help him see that nothing was impossible.

“Do I know her?” she asked

“I don’t know if you do or not. It matters not I have come to the conclusion that we will never be.” He sighed. A show of emotion from him was rare even if it was just the two of them. She didn’t know what to think of the fact that he had allowed that one to slip through his guard. She wanted deeper inside of him so she would have to find a way to get him to open up to her. She thought for a few minutes about the right words to say to him so that he would know that there was someone that she wanted but she too knew that she could never have.

“In a perfect world one that we have never known, and more than likely never will we would never need to face the world alone. The one that we loved would be with us all the time.” She answered thinking about the fact that she wanted to be with him but at the same time knew that he wouldn’t do it. She was human and he was a demon the two just didn’t mix in his social class.

“In a perfect world she would know who she was with out a word being said.” He answered her

“You have never told and you never will how can you know how she feels if you don’t tell her?” she asked him wanting to know how he expected her to know of his feelings if he had never said a word.

“In a perfect world she would be able to see from my actions who she is to me but this isn’t that world as you have said.” He answered looking at her again.

There was something that he wasn’t saying but she wasn’t getting it yet. She was getting annoyed with herself. It wasn’t that she was dense or anything just that he was talking in a code that she just didn’t understand. She knew that she was too wrapped up in her own emotional battle that she was not seeing all that he was showing her tonight but how could she fight out of her own battle to see what he was trying to tell her. She closed her eyes for a moment and forced her own raging emotions under control so that she could listen to what he said. Once she was sure that she would be able to listen to him and all that he said she opened them again only to find him looking at her still. What was it that he was trying to get through to her?

Part Two

“They can have the world, we’ll create our own, I may not be brace of strong or smart but somewhere in my secret heart.”

She watched his every move as he leaned closer to her. You would think that after all the time that they had been meeting each other she would have adjusted to his silent moves but at the same time even as she watched him move it still awed her. She didn’t know how he did it she had tried so many times to sneak up on him but it never failed he always knew that she was there. He could sneak up on her though she found it quite unfair. She knew that being a demon he would have had to learn that skill at a young age and from all that she had heard he was a hell of a lot older than he appeared to be. She didn’t know his age but at the same time it didn’t matter to her. She knew that his life was eternal. That was the reason that she couldn’t understand why he couldn’t spend her lifetime as short as it was with her and grant her that one dream. She would die long before he did and because of that he would be able to have the demon children that he needed for his line. She stopped herself cold. She couldn’t follow that train of thought she had to break her self away from it. There was no reason to think further down that road because she knew that it would never happen. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back in the grass that surrounded them.

“You know, as far as I am concerned they can have the world, we’ll create our own, one that we can have the one that we both want and be happy for once. Is that a crime?” she asked him watching a cloud as it moved over the moon in the sky. Too bad that there was no more magic in the dead jewel around her neck if there were she just might make just that wish.

“There are other things that you have not considered though aren’t there?” he asked her

“I may not be brace or strong or smart but somewhere in my deepest heart. . . .” she sighed knowing that he was talking about the issue of the two of them alone in a world even if they had the other that they wanted in their lives with them. He didn’t know that she wanted him and he never would because it would hurt her too much to have him turn from her. Too many times her heart had been trampled and she was done with that. She would strangle her heart later right now she just wanted to talk to him and find out who the woman was that he was thinking of.

“I have never said those things about you. What would make you think that I was talking about that?” he asked her not understanding that she had not finished the thought. She didn’t want to, to finish that thought she would be telling him that she cared about him. She knew that he was perceptive and she didn’t want him to know that she loved him.

“I know that you have not said those things about me but I don’t want to finish the thought. I can’t. Just leave it at the fact that if I could I would. If I did maybe you would find a reason to smile.” She smiled at him turning her head to look at him.

For the first time since they had started talking to each other he was right beside her. Close enough for her to touch though she knew that he wouldn’t want her to. Why did she have to fall in love with someone that she couldn’t have? He could have anyone that he wanted why did he think that he couldn’t. there had to be something major wrong with the one that he cared about. Would he tell her maybe she could help the one that he wanted so that he would be happy? She could do that for him and die alone in the mountains of the land that he ruled. There would be no reason for him to know that she didn’t want to live without him in her life.

“Finish the thought then, I have never known you to hold your tongue with me before.”

“Nope that is something that I can’t do. Tell me though why cant you have the one that you care for?” she asked trying to steer him from what she knew would be a telling line.

“She will die.” He answered turning his head to the side again. Why was it that when he talked about the one that he wanted he couldn’t look at her? Did he think that she would take offence? Wait she would die? She was mortal! That floored her for a moment but she had been floored by him before so being quick on her feet in situations like this with him she just had to ask.

“You fell for a mortal, and you don’t want to watch her die right?” she asked him. She was pretty sure that he wouldn’t answer that one but then again it seemed that tonight was a night of surprises for her.

“Correct, I would not be able to watch her die.” His voice was soft, too soft. He was really thinking about this. She wanted him to know that she would be there for him for as long as she could be but she knew that it would only be a flicker of time in his life. There was no reason for her to say it she knew that he would say the same thing.

“I have heard that a human life is like a flame it blazes until it burns itself out. I at times wish that I wasn’t but I know that there is nothing that can change me I am stuck like this. You could at least let her know how you feel, you never know.” She tried to smile but at the same time she couldn’t knowing what she did about what was in her own heart.

“I don’t want her to know. I want her to find a mortal to take into her life.” He answered

“What if she doesn’t want a mortal though? Have you thought that she might want to take a chance?” she asked him

Part Three

“I know Love will find a way, anywhere I go I’m home. If you are there beside me”

“She might want to take that chance but I cant.” He answered

“I have the same problem though,” she sighed, “I want him in my life but I cant have him. He would never let it go that far even though I know that he could have all that he needed after I died.” She knew that her voice was sad but at the same time she couldn’t hide that from him. He knew her too well to not pick up on that. She couldn’t look at him as she felt his golden eyes turn to her again. She hated herself for wanting him at times but then again she knew that she would never want anyone else for the rest of her life.

“You are thinking of a demon aren’t you?” he asked as he watched her closely

“Yeah but I know that if he gave us a chance that love will find a way.”

“You know that when I am around her that anywhere I go I am home, if she is there with me. I have never felt that way before.”

“Me either but at the same time he doesn’t know.”

“Neither does she, sometimes being who we are we cant tell those that we want to about how much they mean to us.”

“Yes but just once I want to tell you that I feel safe and at peace if you are there beside me.” She sighed not realizing what she had just said to him.

“Just once I would like to hear someone say that there is more to me than just what I am to the lands that I rule. How hard is it to see that I am just like all the others out there searching for the one that will complete me. Why did the gods have to place her in my life only to take her from me?” he asked her noting that she still wasn’t looking at him.

“We both have found love in a place that we shouldn’t have. There is no perfect world and I guess that you will never know.” Her voice so soft that at first he wasn’t sure that he had heard her.

“You tell me where you have found love and I will do the same. We might as well share that with each other since no one else will ever know that we have feelings for someone.” He answered thoughtfully

“I cant, I made a promise to myself that he would never know.”

Part Four

“Like dark turning into day, Somehow we’ll come through, now that I’ve found you, love will find a way.”

“Do you think that people can change, something like dark turning into day?” he asked her

“I know they can just like I know somehow we we’ll come through.” She felt the tears creeping up in her eyes she didn’t want to keep skirting the issue with him but she had made that promise to herself.

“Tell me, there is something that you don’t want me to know I thought that we trusted each other.” His voice was so low that had he not been sitting right beside her she wouldn’t have heard it.

“Tell me this if a demon takes a human as his own, can he later take a demoness?”

“Depending on the link that he creates with the human yes. Why are you asking me that though? Who is this demon who has found his way into your heart?”

“I never thought that I would find one that I wanted in my life again once Inuyasha left me for Kikyou but what I didn’t know was that what I would want was standing in the shadows the whole time. I know that one can find love true love because that is what I know that I have found now that I’ve found you.” Her voice a whisper in the night air around them. Her tears started to fall from her eyes as she locked herself in place trying to make sure that she didn’t take off right now. All she wanted to do was hide there was no reason for her to stay here he would leave her and she would be alone with her thoughts of him once again. Why had she said that there was no reason for him to know what it was that she wanted in her life or who?”

“As you said love will find a way.” His voice sounded like it was right next to her ear but she thought that she had to be wrong. There was no way that he would have said something like that to her. She didn’t know what to think, she had to stay closed to the thoughts that she was having. She didn’t want to think of something and find out that she was wrong but at the same time she wanted to have hope.

“Find a way for what?” she asked him

“I think I know what you want to say but I want to hear you say it you have to tell me what you are thinking.”

“I found a demon that is beyond all that I had ever dreamed of and yet I cant have him.”

“You are talking about me aren’t you?” he asked her

“Though I promised myself that I wouldn’t tell you I have found all that I could ever want in you.” She answered

“The same can be said for you, but there is nothing that we can do about this is there?” he asked her

Part Five

“I was so afraid, now I realize, love is never wrong and so it never dies.”

“I don’t know to tell the truth. I never thought that I would tell you. I always thought that those feelings would die with me. I was so afraid to tell you I didn’t want you to stop seeing me just because of how I feel.”

“I wouldn’t do that, now I realize that I will never really leave you. We are here together and that is how I want things to be even though I don’t know where it will go from here.” He answered her

“Love is never wrong and so it never dies, even if we never do anything about how we feel there is no reason to not tell each other how we feel.”

“I don’t want you to think that it is because of what you are, I do love you even though you are human but at the same time I couldn’t stand to watch you die. You are. . . . more than I ever thought that I would find but at the same time I cant take the thought of trying to live my life with out you.” His voice caused the hairs on her neck to move against her skin. He was so close to her she wanted to reach out and touch him but knew that she couldn’t it would finish her. She wouldn’t be able to let go of him if she touched him. She wanted him in the deepest part of her being and she knew that if she touched him that she would never want to let go of him.

“So we are stuck like this aren’t we? Neither of us wants the other to be in pain but at the same time we both are all the time. It will be worse now that we know how the other feels. Why did things have to go this way?” she asked him.

She had to try to get away from him. She wanted his touch so much that she would die to have it. Why couldn’t they have the eternity that they both wanted? Was their love so wrong that even the gods would turn against them? What could they do knowing that the odds were against them but at the same time they wanted to be with the other? Could it be that she was missing something from this conversation? Was he trying to say something that she just didn’t understand?

“There is a chance as you said, love will find a way.” His voice felt like a caress on her skin as he stayed close to her. Why couldn’t she turn around and touch him? Why couldn’t she take the chance with him and just lay it all on the line for him? Wasn’t he worth it?

“Are you willing to take that chance?” she asked him reaching behind her.

She wanted to feel his heat, she had to know that she wasn’t imagining this conversation with him. It was the first time that they had talked about anything even close to this. She understood why now but at the same time they had wasted a lot of time. She felt the silk of his clothing the heat of his skin on her fingertips sent a heat through her whole body. She felt his hand move over her own as she kept it on his chest. Well that told her that he didn’t mind her touch but what else would he allow her? She turned around to stare into those deep golden eyes that burned her soul, she could see all that he had been trying to tell her tonight. Would he take that chance? How far would he let this go? Would he burn her with the flames that she now saw in his eyes, or would he walk away from her again?

Part Six

“There’s a perfect world, shining in your eyes, and if only they could feel it too, the happiness that I feel with you”

“Here with us right now there’s a perfect world, it is shining in your eyes, how can you say that I don’t want to take a chance?” he asked her moving her hand to his heart. She felt it beat strong against her skin and she knew without a doubt that every beat of that heart was for her and her alone.

“I never thought that you might feel like that for me, I was willing to take that with me to the grave, we know how we feel and if they could only feel it too, the happiness and peace that I feel when I am here with you. Maybe then they would help us find a way.” She sighed as she moved into the chest that she had dreamed about laying on for so long. She felt his arms as they moved around her waist holding her closer to him. Would they ever have the chance to be all that they could to each other or would they be cursed to always think of each other and meet in their dreams only to need the other more than ever before? She felt his hand with claws that she had seen many times kill a demon with less than a thought move against her cheek taking with it the tears that had fallen down her cheeks. What were they to do?

“Maybe we have to do something to show them just how much we feel for each other. Remember we were both ready to go to the grave with our feelings for each other.”

“You might be right but at the same time I don’t want you to have to deal with my death.”

“I have the sword you know.” He answered her

“How long would that work though, are you willing to watch me die only to bring me back? How many times would you do that only knowing that I would still die?” she asked him curling her fingers in the silk that she found on his chest.

“Right now I am willing to face that future with you if you are willing to take that same chance on me.” He answered moving his face into her hair near her neck.

She couldn’t breath he had silenced her in all ways with that touch. She wanted to feel his lips on her skin so that she knew what it was that he wanted from her tonight. There would be no going back if he took that step she would give all that she was to him and she knew it. She didn’t want to lose this chance with him and knew that if he didn’t take the chance to night she might not be brave enough to seek him out again even knowing how it was that he felt for her. She had put herself on the line tonight she could only hope that he wouldn’t leave her out on the open with out a shelter. She wanted to be with him her heart told her that was where she belonged. Why couldn’t they have what it was that they both needed? She moved as close as she could to him wanting more than she could tell him with words. She didn’t know how to show him what it was that she wanted she had to have faith that he would know what it was that she wanted and needed and wouldn’t leave her to deal with this on her own.

“A future no matter how short with you is all that I have dreamed about for months now. I never thought that you would feel anything more than friendship for me but you do and I don’t want to miss this one chance even though I know that we will both be in pain.”

“Who said that there would be pain my dear? Think about it if we show the gods that we are willing to take that chance on each other there is a chance that they might help us. You said yourself that love will find a way, do you now doubt your own words?” he asked her moving one of his hands from her waist to her chest. She moved into that gentle touch knowing that though they had never touched each other before that he wouldn’t hurt her. He felt the same way that she did and because of that she would allow him all that he wanted from her even if in the end it killed her.

“I didn’t say that I did but at the same time I don’t want you to be in pain from my death. You deserve happiness and I know that you can find it even if it isn’t with me.” She whispered breathing in his scent and holding it in her lungs. She wanted something of him with her at all times even if he walked away from her.

“I am not leaving you, you are stuck with me. I cant leave you now that I know that you feel the same for me. We will find a way you have to have faith in that. I don’t want to lose you but I know that I will. Can’t you see that I am willing to try?” he asked her

“I know that you are willing to try I just know that if we move forward with this that I could never let you go.” She answered him as she played with a stray strand of silver hair that fell over his broad shoulder.

“You would never have to.” He answered as he brushed his tongue along the side of her neck. He wanted her taste and she wanted his touch, her body had been telling him the whole time that she wanted him but now he would see just how far she would go in her desire to have him. If she balked then he would back off but at the same time it didn’t appear that she would do so. He would act as he felt and watch her for her reactions.

“Are you sure about that?” she asked him breathing a little heavier now than she had been before.

“More than I ever have been in my life, how far will you let this go tonight?” he asked her hoping for so much but knowing that she might not be willing to go that far with him tonight. They had only just told each other of their feelings why should he think that she would be willing to go that far with him. There was no reason for him to think that but he could hope none the less.

“How far do you want to go with this? There is little that I wouldn’t do to be with you. My dreams haunt me all the time with images that I want to come true but at the same time I thought at the time that they would never come true.”

“Tell me of these dreams.” His breath caressed her as he grazed his fangs over her skin. To break that skin though a sin in most minds in a demons mind was enticing.

“If we move forward with this those dreams will come true.” She breathed as she moved into the fangs that still lay against her skin.

“Don’t do that my dear unless you want to find out what a true feast is. I know that you are human and that you might not understand what the feel of your skin on my fangs makes me feel. I feel your life move through your veins and want to taste it. I know that humans don’t do that kind of thing but we demons on the other hand find that to be the most erotic of acts that we can fathom.”

“I have dreamed about your fangs in the past, you don’t frighten me with that thought. To share my life with you is my choice and my desire, all that I have is yours even the blood that flows through my veins.” She answered him as she took the hand from her waist and moved it to her lips grazing her own dull teeth against his skin. He tightened his hold on her as she continued to run her teeth against his skin. He wanted to feel her puncture his skin but knew that her teeth weren’t sharp enough to do so. If she were a demoness then it would be possible but at the same time he could still feed her if she chose to do so with him.

“The same is true for me but what would you do if I chose to feed you the blood of my veins?” he asked his voice a low and sensual thing. Even listening to his voice caused the desire that she felt for him to grow. She had to do something she hated not being able to touch him as she wanted to.

“I have heard that demons do such things but can you say that you want to do that with me a mere human?” she asked

“That isn’t what I asked, answer my question Kagome. Would you feed from me even as I feed from you. Would you go that far with me, take a journey with me into the unknown to feel each other in every pore, to know each other like no other ever could. Would you do that?” he asked. He had to know just how far she was willing to go with him so that he knew how far he could push.

“What does blood sharing mean to demons Sesshoumaru? I want to know all that I can so that I know what to do.”

“Kagome you don’t have to know what I do about demon life, all you have to do is follow your heart. Will you take that journey with me?” he asked her again he had to know. If she was willing he would be creating a link with her that could never be broken not even death could sever their ties to each other.

“Feeding you as you feed me is one of the most intimate acts that I have seen in my dreams. I would feed you but we both know that I can not feed from you Sesshoumaru no matter how much I might want to.”

“I didn’t say that I didn’t know a way to feed you did I? Will you move forward with this?”

“I would die for you, just one night if nothing else I would take. You are all that I want and need I would never look to another.”

“You will never need to look to another Kagome I will be here for the rest of your days.”

Part Seven

“They’d know love will find a way anywhere we go we’re home if we are there together.”

“If only they could see us and know what we feel for each other they’d know that love will find a way.”

“There is no doubt in my mind that any where we go that we’re home if we are there together. I will leave it all behind just to have the love that I feel with you.” Sesshoumaru murmured into her ear as he licked the shell of it. She was so delicious that he couldn’t get enough of her. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for the love that could feel from her and for her. It was so strong that it almost brought him to his knees he was grateful that he was sitting on the ground. There was a plus to having her sitting on his lap as well, she could tell that he wanted her. It was painful but at the same time he would take that pain as long as he was with her.

“Are you ready to change your life like this?” she asked him

“Yes Kagome I would have no other at my side in my bed in my heart for the rest of my days. Granted there might come a day that I will lose you but right now the thought that I would never have you hurts me. I would rather love you then lose you than to lose you only loving you from a distance. I have to take this chance.”

“So do I Sesshoumaru.”

Their lips met as she raised her head to look at him. The moment they made contact they knew that there was no other way for this to go. She wanted him so much that she felt like she would shatter with the soul wrenching ache that she felt for him. She had never known what it was like to feel like this for someone and she knew that he felt the same way. She could tell just in the way that he held her close like he was scared that she would vanish and they would find out that this was just a dream that they were having. She didn’t want to move from his embrace she didn’t want to be without him but she knew that at some point in the future that he would be without her. She was willing to give him all that she had and she would do all that she could to make him happy so that when she was gone from him he would have felt peace and happiness even if it was for just a short time in his life.

She wrapped her arms around him trying to pull him closer to her. She didn’t want there to be an inch of space between them. She heard and felt the low moan that escaped him as she moved her hands along his back. She wanted to feel him around her inside of her she wanted to be a part of him, something that he could not shake until the day that she died. Granted it was warped and she knew that it would hurt him but at the same time she couldn’t help but want to be more. There was no doubt in her mind that they were meant to be and that no matter what came to them they would make it through. She felt his hands move to areas that no other had explored and wanted to show him that she was all for going through with this. She wouldn’t hold any thing back it was all or nothing for her tonight. She would take him as her own for her life or she would die at his hands she didn’t care one way or the other.

Part Eight

“Like dark turning into day, some how we will make it through, now that I’ve found you, love will find a way. I know love will find a way.”

In the heavens the gods watched as the couple mated there. None of them had thought that the stone cold Taiyoukai would ever change and they never would have thought that a simple miko of great heart could have changed him. They watched and protected the couple through the night knowing that they were watching a miracle that they had not put into play. Kagome had won Sesshoumaru on her own and because of that they felt like they should do something for the Taiyoukai. The miko that had tamed the heart that used to be solid ice. There had to be something that the two of them wanted and needed.

Izanagi the father of the heavens looked down on the couple. He knew that they deserved the chance that they would be robbed of in the not too far future. He had to do something. He looked over at his mate and her eyes told him of her desire to help the couple that had fought against all of the odds just as they had to make their love work. Izanagi felt for them true but didn’t know what he could do. He knew that the miko wanted to be a demon like her mate but there was only so much that he could do even being the creator. Granted he could grant the miko her wish but at the same time he didn’t want to have to change the fabric of time to make sure that she would make it to her mother. Then again with all that the miko had given up to make sure that the future at least had a chance he could try couldn’t he? He looked at the other Ama-Tsu he knew that they too wanted to do something for Kagome but didn’t know what they could do. A sigh left Izanagi’s chest as he thought about what it was that he was about to suggest to them. They had never changed anything on such a large scale sinee the dawn of time. This would be the first time that they would even try and they were doing it for the woman that had managed to change time herself.

“Izanami, I know that you want to help them feeling for them as you do but you do know that the future would have to change some to allow them the life that they can have.”

“I know my love but at the same time it would be wrong to rob them of this. They had gone against all the odds and fought themselves to have this, we have to do this for them. Because of them demons will be in the future. They have brought about the events that were needed for your dream to be realized my love you cant take her from him you know what he will do if you do so.” Answered the female next to Izanagi

“You are right. Ama-Tsu do you wish to do this with me?” asked Izanagi

“We will assist you in any way that we can as the mother has stated what you wanted from the beginning they have found a way to bring about.”

“As you say so shall it be. We have a lot of work to do before they wake up in the morning.” Smiled Izanami as she moved to the center of the group so that they could do what it was that they had set out for themselves. In one voice the beings in the heaves started the chant to make Kagome a demon and to make the changes to the time line that allowed the dream of the creator to come to fruition.

“Like dark turning into day, his heart has found what it needed, with our slight touch their lives start again on this night as one being one love. Like the light that surrenders to the darkness she has given him all that he needed to find the heart that we never thought that he would find. Somehow we’ll come through this making the changes as they too change and make life better for those in all times. This is what we say this is how it shall be.”

The creator and the mother watched as the couple now fully mated lay in each others arms so scared of what the day would bring. They knew that they would be all right. There would be times a head of them that the love that they shared would be tested and their strength as one would be pushed to its limits but they knew that they would deal with all things as they came to them. Tonight had been a night of prophecies fulfilled even though they had not known that they had done it. There was no reason for them to know they were happy enough with the love that they had found with each other. The mother and creator listened to the words that the couple spoke just as sleep took them from the conscious realm.

“I have all that I ever wanted now that I found you, Kagome know that all that I am forever is yours.”

“I told you that love would find a way for us to be together I never would have thought that you would take me as a human for all time.”

“I know Kagome we have to have faith that love will find a way.”
