Hello, everybody I'm sorry this isn't a new chap only the prologue re-wrote. I didn't much in this put fixed some of the spelling errors I found, fixed sentences and paragraphs, that is about it. I've done the same thing to the first chap and have started the second it'll come out within a day or so.
I don't own Naruto.
In the dark, large eyes shot open with blood red irises and slanted black pupils narrow in anger “Where am I?... Oh yes still sealed inside of this Human brat... Naruto, was it?” a voice asked in a deep rumble and as loud as a thunder storm.
The large eyes shot back and forth checking out the cage they were locked in, before a deep growl rung out and the giant body of a dark orange nine-tailed fox slammed into the cage repeatedly before giving up in a even louder growl.
“Damn that Human for sealing me in this infuriating cage... How do I get out of here?” the giant fox asked itself.
The fox began ramming into the cage once again before giving up with a huff and a deep growl “There's only one way out, but... Do I really have too?” the fox began ramming the cage once again.
After what seemed like hours to the fox it gave up slamming into the cage “I guess I have no choice but too do... That.” it said before ramming the cage once again and growling out viciously shacking the giant steel bars holding it in with it's loud voice.
The Chunin ninja behind the blond boy gritted their teeth in anger “Stop right now! Naruto!” one of them yelled out.
Naruto turned his head behind him and laughed loudly and grinned at the Chunin “Hahaha! You suckers are just mad because you can't do what I did! Hahahaha!” he yelled and laughed at them making the various Chunin chasing him even angrier.
Seeing a corner ahead Naruto grinned and took it in a sharp turn, but taking that turn must have been the worst possible choice he could have made. Because he gasped out loud, fell down to his knees and grasped his stomach in pain.
The last thing Naruto saw were the Chunin dropping down in front of him and behind with various other ninja in animal masks, the last thing he heard were screams of pain... His screams.
Softly tanned eyelids with dark brown eyelashes opened slowly before shutting again from the glaring bright sun “W-where a-am I-I?” a dull and dry voice gasped out.
A sudden gasped of surprise and the loud clank of metal hitting the ground was Naruto's warning of a upcoming headache.
Growling in annoyance and turning his blond tipped head towards the gasping voice found him a normal looking nurse with waist length brown hair and wide brown eyes.
The nurse seemed too come to terms with something before rushing out of the room looking for something apparently.
Looking around the room Naruto found the makings of a normal hospital room white walls and ceiling, slightly comfortable bed with white sheets and clean white floors that you could see your reflection in.
Sitting up and looking down at his softly tanned hands Naruto sighed 'How did I get in the hospital? The last thing I remember is-' his remembrance was cut short by someone entering his room.
“Ah, so you are awake, Naruto.” a sudden but soft voice of a old man rung out.
Looking up Naruto grinned slightly upon seeing the old man at the door entering with his trademark pipe in his hand near his mouth “Hokage-jiji.” Naruto said in acknowledgment.
The Sandaime Hokage nodded his head with a bright and cheerful smile on his face “I'm very glad too see that you're awake.” he said in a grandfatherly tone after taking a seat in the one of the comfy hospital chairs by Naruto's bed.
Gazing into the Hokage's deep brown eyes Naruto smiled “Jiji? Why am I here? What happened?” he asked in a low voice gazing back down at his hands.
The Sandaime Hokage sighed and pulled his pipe out of his mouth staring at Naruto's head “Naruto... We're not exactly sure what happened... But you've been inside a coma for nearly a year.” he said sadly.
Naruto whipped his head up towards the Hokage with wide eyes so fast that the hokage thought he would get whiplash “W-what do you mean a coma? And a year?!” he yelled out with tears beginning to build at the corners of his eyes.
The Hokage sighed and nodded his head “Yes, Naruto it's true you've been asleep for nearly a year... Your second Genin exam has been over for a while now.” he stated trying too make Naruto understand.
Naruto looked back down at his hands and started shaking his tears building rapidly “Y-you're l-lying I c-couldn't have been a-a-asleep for so long.” he said in a low depressed tone.
The Hokage patted and rubbed his back softly “I'm sorry Naruto but it is the truth.” he stated sadly.
Naruto closed his eyes tightly and pulled his knees up and began crying out loudly.
Crying his confusion out for nearly an hour, Naruto wiped his cheeks and eyes dry with the back of his hands “Y-you don't know what happened?” he asked in a whisper.
The Sandaime shook his head no “I'm afraid not we haven't found out the cause for your sudden coma... I'm very sorry Naruto.” he said sadly watching the young blond with warm brown eyes.
Naruto nodded his head and pulled his knees back up to his chest and rested his chin on them “W-what happens now?” he asked.
Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage placed his pipe back in his mouth taking small puffs from it 'Naruto's recovery rate even mentally is incredible.' he thought to himself.
Sarutobi pulled his pipe back out and blew the smoke out in a thin line towards the open window in the corner, Naruto absentmindedly wondered if he was using some type of smoke controlling jutsu. “Well luckily the next Genin exam is a little over ten months away so you have time to train and what not for the exam.” he said in a chipper tone knowing that training would rise the boys spirits.
It did almost instantly make him brighten up with a large grin “Alright! That should be more than enough time for me to train and pass this third time!!” he yelled out standing on the bed with his fist raised in the air.
The Hokage stood up and smiled walking towards the door “That's the spirit, a nurse will be in to check you out to see if there are any permanent damage done to your body from the coma.” he said.
Naruto scoffed and folded his arms “Ha! I'm as good as new you'll see!!” he yelled out.
Sarutobi laughed and nodded his head “Well if that is true then you'll be discharged from here today and you'll begin going back to the Academy tomorrow morning.” he said happily which Naruto nodded his head rapidly to.
Coughing to bring everyone's attention to him, he smiled slightly but then went into his serious Hokage face “I have brought this council meeting together too discuss the reawakening of Uzumaki Naruto.” he said in a deeply serious voice.
Everyone in the room nodded their heads, The first to speak was a civilian member with brown hair and dark green eyes; a very plain man “We don't know what happened to him; he should be killed right now!” he shouted out his fear and hate of the Kyuubi taking over his rational mind, many of the other civilian members agreed with him.
After an hour long argument the civilian members were escorted out of the council room their voice in the matter not really worth anything only those of the ninja kind were important.
The Sandaime coughed into his hand to gain everyone's attention again “Now that is over with shall we begin anew?” he asked in a serious voice.
A man with long black hair and lavender pupil-less eyes in highly noble white robes “May we have the boys medical results, Hokage-sama?” asked.
Sarutobi nodded his head and lifted up a piece of white paper with writing on it from a stack of other papers “Of course Hiashi-san. The results were mostly inconclusive, there were no damage too be reported.” he said after scanning the piece of paper.
Most of the heads nodded in understanding “Anything of importance from the other tests?” the same man; Hyuuga Hiashi head of the Hyuuga clan asked.
Sarutobi nodded his head pulling up another piece of paper “Yes, from the Hyuuga test we have come to a conclusion that Naruto's chakra pathways have nearly doubled in size and that his chakra pool and reserves have tripled in size.” he said in a proud and slight fearful tone.
Many were gasping in shock at that bit of news “From the Inuzuka test we have come to the conclusion that he is still Uzumaki Naruto; his scent is still the same which obviously means that he is still Human and still the same person.” he said, Hyuuga Hiashi and a woman by the name of Inuzuka Tsuma nodded their heads having already knew this.
A short woman with brown hair nearing gray turned her head towards Sarutobi “And what of your test, Jiraiya?” she asked.
A large man in green and red robes stepped forward from behind Sarutobi with ankle length white hair “Well, I checked the seal and the seal seems fine, but the odd thing I noticed was the fact that; Kyuubi No Yoko is no longer being imprisoned behind the seal.” he stated simply “Oh! Another thing the seal that my student; the Yondaime used too keep the fox imprisoned inside of Naruto is breaking itself down.” he said again with a small chuckle.
This made everyone but Jiraiya and Sarutobi gasp in surprise and fear “W-what has become of the Kyuubi?” another man asked; he was Nara Shikaku of the Nara clan.
Jiraiya shook his head “I'm not sure... The fox just isn't there, but I'm a hundred percent sure that he hasn't possessed Naruto or anything; Naruto is still Naruto.” he said in a serious but happy tone at the end.
Another man with long pale blond hair and pale blue eyes stood up “How can you be so sure?!” he asked in fright; he was Yamanaka Inoichi of the Yamanaka clan.
Sarutobi gave Inoichi a look that made him sit down “I just am okay? I've checked the boy and his seal over and over again a dozen times the fox is completely gone for good for some reason AND Naruto is still himself, just with all of the fox's chakra.” Jiraiya said shrugging his shoulders.
This made everyone gasp “What do you mean? He has the fox's chakra?” asked a large man in red robes he was; Akimichi Choza of the Akimichi clan.
Jiraiya blinked and then blinked again “Oh? Didn't I tell you? The fox itself is gone but his chakra was left behind and with the seal destroying itself. Naruto has been slowly absorbing the fox's chakra for the past eight months.” he said nervously.
Sarutobi looked at his ex-student in shock “How do you know? And why didn't you tell me this sooner?!” he asked in anger, everyone else agreed with his questions.
Jiraiya rubbed the back of his neck nervously “I forgot?” he asked nervously making everyone sigh, but then put on his famous smirk “But, it's true the boy has been absorbing the fox's chakra for a long while now, it's going faster with the fox gone.” he said and then grinned “That's why he's been in the coma most likely, with the fox gone the seal lost its purpose so let the flood gates open and which in turn made the boy pass out from all the chakra flooding his system.” he said proudly.
The others nodded in understanding “How can we be CERTAIN that the boy isn't the fox?” asked Inoichi again.
Sarutobi sighed and mumbled something under his breath “I've talked with him personally and I assure you, he is still the same boy and no one or anything else.” he stated in a flat tone.
An old man with gray hair and round glasses turned his head towards Jiraiya “How did the fox get loose?” he asked this elder was; Mitokado Homura the last teammate of Sarutobi and Utatane Koharu the students of the Shodaime and Nidaime Hokage's.
Jiraiya shrugged his shoulders “How would I know? Its somehow got free but at the cost of all its chakra it is as harmless as a bunny now.” he said with a laugh at the mental picture of a nine-tailed bunny.
Many of the others also laughed at the mental image of a nine-tail bunny rabbit attacking people “So you're telling me there is a hyperactive boy who loves too play pranks with all of the chakra of the Kyuubi no Yoko not too mention his own massive chakra at his disposal out there?” asked a gruff female voice in disbelief she was; Inuzuka Tsume head of the Inuzuka clan.
Everyone in the room but Jiraiya, paled with wide-eyes in fear at the thought of a high-powered Naruto playing pranks on everybody.
Coughing into his hand once again Sarutobi got everyone's attention “Now even with the Kyuubi gone, we will still keep the law intact until Naruto wants it removed.” he ordered out to everyone.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement to the order, but one man he was; Danzo of the Root ANBU forces “Might I make a suggestion? Uzumaki Naruto with the Kyuubi's chakra turned into his own would make the perfect weapon for Konoha.” he stated in a flat emotionless voice.
Sarutobi and Jiraiya narrowed their eyes on Danzo in anger “There will be none of that! Naruto will be placed in a Genin cell when and if he passes the upcoming Genin exam. Am I clear?” said Sarutobi in a very harsh tone shooting out his killer intent in the room making everyone but his own teammates, student and Danzo shake uncontrollably in fear.
Everyone nodded their heads, but Danzo who growled in anger 'Damn fools' he thought to himself.
Sarutobi stood up and then everyone else did “Dismissed.” he said and the room filed out in order.
Sarutobi sighed looking much older than the sixty-nine years he was “Damn that Danzo.” he said in a sad voice.
Jiraiya pulled his eyes from the full moon in the black sky “Ironic isn't it?” he asked in a serious tone.
Sarutobi looked up at his student and leaned back in his chair lighting up his pipe “What is?” he asked.
Jiraiya shifted slightly and turned his head toward his sensei “That the boy would wake up on the day the full moon would appear.” he said.
Sarutobi nodded his head sucking on his pipe “A sign of things too come? Possibly? Or is it something else?” he asked mostly to himself.
Jiraiya nodded his head in understanding “I wonder also, well sensei I'll be going just watch the brat with all that chakra he's getting something might happen.” he said as he stood up on the open windows frame.
Sarutobi turned his head towards Jiraiya “Very well, come back soon will you? I'm sure you'll be looking forward too training the boy soon, because I'm sure he'll be a Genin soon.” he said with a light chuckle.
Jiraiya nodded his head “Will do and of course I wanna train the brat.” he said with a light chuckle also before hopping out of the window.
Sarutobi watched his student vanish into the distance on one of his many toad summons.
Sarutobi sighed and looked out into the full moons glow “What does this all mean for you? Naruto?” he asked himself.
With a smirk of razor sharp teeth and a soft chuckle the creature moved in the darkness towards the boy before coming to a stop with its mouth by the boys neck.
The boy whimpered in pain and rolled over on his side with two fang marks healing rapidly on his neck with little smears of blood left behind from the bite, after the healing was done, left behind was a black triangle like symbol before it vanished in an instant.
The creature chuckled darkly 'Until we meet again my little kit.' the creature thought to itself.
The wind blew the window curtain forward and it slowly drifted back down slowly, but the creature was gone, and in its place a Human; wearing skin tight black clothes and gray armor on its forearms, chest/back, shins, a mask in the shape of a cat on it's face and a sword on its back.
The woman looked around the room 'I could've sworn there was something here.' she thought to herself before brushing her shoulder length purple hair back and vanishing as the wind came again, gone as if she was never there.
Naruto rolled back over and nuzzled his face into the pillow and pulled his blankets further upon himself.
