My first VK fanfic, woo hoo. Oh and to let you guys know, I’ve only gotten as far in the series as Shojo Beat okay so don’t ruin anything for me okay thanks. But I’m really not sure where this takes place, maybe around the second manga…not really sure yet heh, heh

Chapter 1

“Alright everyone get back to the dorms, now! It’s almost curfew for the Day Class.” yelled Yuki over the screaming day class girls.

It was twilight and as always the girls were trying to catch glimpses of the gorges vampires (of course the day class girls don’t know that) of the Night Class. Yuki was giving long loud blasts on her whistle. But the girls ignored her, a normal routine.

“Hey! Get back to the dorms now! I’m sick of the same thing everyday, sheesh.” yelled Zero louder than anyone there.

(At the Academy’s ground gate)

A young girl, around the age of 15, stood at the gate. A nervous expression on her face. Her bright, fiery chocolate brown hair blew in the gentle breeze as she opened the large gate. The girl’s honey hazel eyes opened wide at the beautiful landscape of the academy.

She wore a cream white tunic that had laces above her chest. A short red plaid pleated skirt with a pair of loose black sweat pants under it. A silver locket shined in the dieing sunlight; on the front of the locket a gold moon and sun were circling each other.

As the girl made her ay towards the school, one thought ran through her mind

‘I have to find her.’

(In the Headmaster Cross’s office)

“Welcome to Cross Academy Ms. Star, I do hope you will enjoy you self while you attend” happily said the Headmaster.

“Thank you sir, but please call me Twyla.” replied Twyla with a small smile and bow of her head.

“You will need someone to show you around, your foster parents have already sent your thing here and they are in your dorm.” replied Cross

Just then Zero walked in, he looked at Twyla then at Headmaster Cross.

“New girl?” he asked

“Yes and I was wondering if you could show her to her dorm and tomorrow morning to her classes, and so on.” replied the headmaster

Zero looked at Twyla and motioned for her to follow. She stood and followed Zero into the hall.

“What’s your room number?” asked Zero, not looking at her.

“Oh…um, 25” replied Twyla looking at the number on her key.

‘At least she’s day class’ thought Zero. (The Sun and Moon dorms have different dorm numbers, Sun 1-100, Moon 101-200. Well in my fanfic that’s what it’s like)

Zero showed Twyla her dorm and told her that classes started at 8 the next morning while breakfast was at 7:15.

“Thank you.” smiled Twyla with a small bow after Zero was done explaining things.

Zero walked away not saying anything. Twyla’s head titled to the side as she watched him turn the corner.

“Uh…okay?” she whispered.

Twyla tuned and unlocked her door; she walked in and turned on the lights. She instantly noticed her trunk was at the foot of the only bed in the room. A book rested on the dark red quilt, Twyla walked over and picked it up.

“‘Student Handbook: Day Class’” she read aloud

She walked over to the closet and opened it. Inside hung 3 female day class uniforms. Twyla pulled out one and held it in front of herself.

‘It’s cute’ she thought.

Twyla walked over to the window and looked out.

“What a beautiful night” she gasped.

Then something caught her eye. Two night class students were walking outside. The she saw Zero walking towards the two, it looked like the three were arguing. Then the two night class students walked back inside.

‘Wonder what that was about?’ she thought as she titled her head to the side

Twyla walked over to her trunk and opened it and started to unpack.
