Chapter 1: Fiction To Reality

I arrived at school and was ready to tell Craig, Martyn and Max about this film I watched last night, I walked up the drive and did the daily pull on the door handle to let myself into the foyer, turned around and walked to the usual meeting area near the radiator. After I told them about the film Ben came through the door, he wasn't alone though, he was with Abigail and Jess. About five more year tens showed up a bit later, it was weird because normally the foyer is packed by now, the five consisted of Derek Hubber, Ashley 'Hamish' Hanson, Daniel Sullivan, Luke 'Pinky' Burns and Johnny Walker suddenly the bell rang for registration and we all assumed that the rest of our year group would turn up later.

It was in registration that we realised something was wrong, has no teacher turned up and the rest of our form didn't come either. Our first lesson was P.E. so has soon as the bell rang we met Max at his form room and ran has fast as we could telling him about our experience along the way, obviously Ben was the last to get to P.E. and when he did he was panting like mad, Martyn told Craig about what happened in registration with Ben next to him making comments like, "I no" and "They might have fell in a rift in time". Our P.E. teacher Mr Kenworthy opened the gate from the other side and let us all into the changing rooms, he told us once we had changed we had to meet him in the sports hall and he'd explain everything. So we got changed and walked at our normal pace to the sports hall and saw the only two girls had got there before us, we sat down on the benches alongside them and Mr Kenworthy said "All your teachers and fellow students are dead", there was a gasp of shock and some sniggers coming from Daniel, "Has I was saying, they are all dead and I am the one who killed them and now I'm going to kill you lot aswell" he finished.

Has soon as he said he'd killed them we all got up and tried running to the exit, there was a scream behind us, we turned around and saw that Mr Kenworthy had been replaced with the horror legend Freddy Krueger and he had got Daniel by the neck, he threw him so violently across the room that he hit the basketball hoop and in the process got his head ripped of his body. The panic really intensified then, everyone was running for the exit, we all seemed to be running in the same direction and it wasn't out of school grounds, it was the Tech-Block. We ran around trying all the doors in the Tech-Block but the only door that was unlocked was Mrs Thewlis' room, the group entered and sat around the front table.

Whilst the group discussed the events that had just occurred I went on the internet and started reading fan fictions and information on the A Nightmare on Elm Street films trying to find out how a person from the world of fiction, a person from a movie could enter the real world however I had no luck and I couldn't think of an explanation on how it could've happened apart from the events that occurred in Wes Craven's New Nightmare but even that couldn't happen. My thoughts were disturbed when Ben asked, "Jay, how did Freddy become real?", the only reply I could think of was, "I don't know, but I'm going to find out!"
