Chapter One

Accidently in Love

It's the first full day of the survival game titled, " Battle Royale". So far, six people have been killed since the game began. The time was now 9:30am, it's been seven hours since the game started. All of the students were scattered everywhere on the island. Kitano, the teacher in chage of this year's game, made his daily announcment.In the background of the announcement, Kitano played some classical music. He read out the names of all those who died on the first night.

Somewhere on the island, Kazuo Kiryama was hunting for his next victim. He only entered this game for fun, just to kill people. Eventually, he found his next victim, it was Kazushi Niida. He was trying to spy on Chigusa before her morning jog. Chigusa went racing away and Niida was going to charge after her until Kiriyama snuck behind him and without warning slahed Niida in the back. Blood from Niida's remains splattered everywhere covering the green forest in crimson red. Kiriyama just stood there staring at the body. He started grinning to himself. He searched the forest moments after his first kill of the day, searching for more to kill.

He stumbled upon a little hut. He heard noises come from inside so he knew someone was there. He crept quietly to the hut window to see who it was. He peered inside and looked around to see where the noise came from. Just then, he saw a young woman. It was Girl Number 11, Mitsuko Souma. She was sitting in there alone. She was trying to clean the blood stains from her Sickle. She was murmmering to herself, "I can't be a loser."

Kiriyama gazed at her. He couldn't help it, she amazed him. He then lifted his arm up and aimed the machine gun at her. His finger was on the trigger but he couldn't pull it. His heart started pounding, his head throbbing. Just then Mitsuko heard him groaning with pain outside. She grabbed her Sickle and peered out of the window.
