Oi! I can't believe it! I actually had the time to write a tendershipping/ringshipping/whatever you wanna call it fic! Not long, and most certainly not the best, but it'll do. Enjoy!
Disclaimer:I own not Yu-Gi-Oh! or any of its characters, no matter how much I beg the owners.
Warnings: Contains BakuraxRyou yaoi. No like, no read. Just leave! Cuz all flames will be used to keep my feet warm at night. ...And to fuel my saxophone playing skillz for the jazz festival. Oh yeah.

The silver-haired brute scowled at the fallen teenager. Ryou Bakura sat on his knees, his head bowed and weeping. Yami Bakura stood tall, acting as though seeing his host—his hikari—reduced to tears didn’t bother him in the least.

“Why…?” Ryou whispered, trying to choke back the sobs in his throat. “Why, Bakura?!”

“Because it’s the only thing I’ve known. It’s none of your business, anyway,” the taller sliver-haired male snapped, causing the smaller to flinch.

“…Yes it is…” the light continued, his head still bowed. “Yes it is my business! You know you don’t have to do this! You know you don’t have to—”

“Shut up!!” the thief lord hollered, yanking the weeping boy to his feet. “Don’t you dare tell me what I can and can’t do! You hear me?! Don’t you fucking dare!!”

“I-I’m sorry…” Ryou whispered, turning his head. “I-I didn’t mean it like that…”

Shoving the boy away, Bakura growled, “Whatever.”

“…But still, you know you don’t. You can choose to be someone else…if you wanted. You could…could…grow a heart!” the smaller silver-haired teen sobbed, dropping to his knees once again.

The British boy’s laments were slowly starting to get to the spirit. Turning around to face his hikari, he sighed and growled, “…I have no heart, therefore I cannot grow one. I’m a thief king, for God’s sake! I’ve killed thousands of people and brought ruin to kingdoms back in my day! Do you think I cared? No!! I don’t have a heart, nor will I ever!!”

“…That’s a lie,” Ryou murmured, lifting his head slightly to glare at his dark. “That’s a bold-faced lie! Don’t lie to me like that! I know you’re capable of caring! Even if it is just a little bit!”

Bakura stared at his hikari, his words dissolving within his throat. The younger sliver-haired male lifted himself up off the ground and slowly wobbled over to the taller male. With a quiet sob, he threw himself onto his yami, clutching his shirt and crying into his chest. For a moment, Bakura wondered if he should shove the boy away or not. His hard eyes softened slightly as he placed a hand on his weeping host’s head. Massaging the scalp of the smaller one, he muttered, “Get off me, you brat…”

Ryou shook his head and whimpered slightly. Letting out a ragged stream of air, he whispered, “…No…not until you prove me wrong…”

The thief sighed as he continued to massage the boy’s head. The younger moaned slightly, pressing himself further up against his darker half. “…Y-you’re not helping yourself…”

“…I know,” Bakura mumbled, pressing his head against the distraught teen’s. “I know…”

“…You’re comforting me…”

“…I know.”

"...That's new..."

"...I know."

“…I like how it feels…”

“…I guess…I do, too.”

Ryou nuzzled further into the thief king’s chest. “…See? You can care… You do have a heart. …You just choose not to use it…” He sighed as he wrapped his arms around his yami’s waist. “You have a heart towards me…”

Bakura’s eyes widened slightly as he gazed at his hikari. Finally, the faintest ghost of a smile made it’s way to his lips. Returning the embrace, he muttered, “No one’s ever said that to me before, Hikari. …You’re the only one who believes in me…I guess. If you can call it that.”

Ryou locked eyes with his look-alike. Smiling that charming smile of his, he said, “…I love you…”

“I…” Bakura caught himself. What was he thinking? He was the King of Thieves, for God’s sake. He shouldn’t have the ability to love. Hell, he shouldn’t even know what such a word meant. …But he didn’t care; he knew what it was, and he knew that he possessed it, though he wasn’t going to admit it out loud. …Just not yet.

Planting a soft kiss on his hikari’s forehead, he muttered, “…I know…”

And, even though it wasn’t the least bit “passionate”, the thief lord’s words did contain a piece of his heart. And for that, Ryou would treasure it always…

Uwaaaa...done! Short and sweet, I guess. But there! A tendershipping/ringshipping (whatever you wanna call it) oneshot! My life is almost complete... Oh, and reviews are welcome, but I'm not holding my breath.
