This Led to That

Chapter 1: Where did I go wrong?

Tohru was in the bathroom, sitting on the ground, leaning up against the closed door with her legs crossed in front of her. She was staring horrified at the bathroom floor in front of her. Placed on the bathroom floor were 3 pregnancy tests. All resulted positive. Tears dripped from Tohru’s eyes. She didn’t know what she was going to do about this? Tohru closed her eyes, trying to remember what happened to make her even consider having sex at all. She always told herself that she would wait until she got married before she had sex. Apparently, that just went down the drain. Now what was she going to do? Tohru moaned, trying harder to remember what could have caused this.

--Flashback: 3 weeks ago--

Tohru giggled, completely drunk. Yuki and Kyo, who were both drunk, started laughing only for the reason that Tohru was laughing. The three of them, Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru, were at a party. It was an after-graduation party. Kyo, Tohru, and Yuki had just graduated from their 4 years of college, which meant several things. The first on this list of several things was that they could go to the bunches of after-graduation parties that were being held around the city for the next few weeks. Second on the list was that they were old enough to drink. Even though most people thought Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo wouldn’t even consider drinking, Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru still found themselves drunk at the end of the night. No, it wasn’t some sort of a ˜problem” or addiction that they had; it was just three people just out of college who wanted to get a taste of the “good-life”.

This, in itself, was not a good thing for the three of them.

Kyo had passed out at about midnight. Tohru and Yuki, who were both heavily drunk, dragged Kyo out of the party and called Shigure to get them to pick them up. Shigure came a few minutes later, saying that he had time to only drop them off back home because he needed to catch a flight to go out of town for about a week or two because of a book tour. Tohru and Yuki barely understood what he said because of how drunk they were. None the less, the three of them were dropped off at the house and Shigure drove off to catch his plane. Tohru put Kyo to bed so he could rest and sleep of all of the alcohol.

This left Yuki and Tohru. She remembered popping a bottle of champagne with Yuki just after she had put Kyo to bed, just for the heck of it. After that one bottle of champagne, the two of them were dead-set drunk. This led to that and then, well, you can probably guess what happened next.

--End Flashback: 3 weeks ago--

Tohru groaned to herself. Yeah, she liked Yuki a lot but she knew this was going to stop her chances of one day marrying him by a long-shot. She didn’t even know if he liked her back, much less if he wanted to have children with her!

“Oh no…” Tohru moaned aloud, cursing herself for being too drunk at the time. Why had she popped that last bottle of champagne with Yuki? Why didn’t they just go to bed alone?

In the middle of her thoughts, Tohru froze. Horror dawned on her as she started to remember another incident that could have caused this.

--Flashback: 2 weeks ago—

Yuki was away for a day or two as he went away for a job interview for a large company in Tokyo. The company, who were considering employing Yuki, was a computer software management company. That meant that if Yuki got the job, he would work from an office that was made out of a guest bedroom. However, that is beside the point. So, Yuki was away and Shigure was still away on his book tour out of town. This left Kyo and Tohru home alone. Because they had nothing to do that night, they went to another after-graduation party.

That resulted, once again, in the two of them getting drunk. Around 2am, Tohru and Kyo desisted to leave the party. Since there was no Shigure or Yuki to come and pick them up, they had to walk home. It took a while because they kept stumbling because of how drunk they were, but they eventually got there. When they arrived, Tohru and Kyo were bored again. Kyo went to Shigure’s room and grabbed what looked like a deck of cards. He shuffled them well without peeking and told Tohru to pick one. These, however, weren’t just common playing cards. They were party game cards. Each card has a party game written on it along with the instructions to play the game. Tohru picked one and then gave it back to Kyo for him to read. Kyo read the card aloud.

“The game is called ‘Evens and Odds’,” Kyo read from the card. Tohru just blinked drunkenly up at him. “1. You get a group of two or more people and two dice.” As he said that, Tohru crawled over to the cabinet and got two, 6 sided dice.

Kyo read the next instruction, “2. Sit everyone who is playing in a circle.” Tohru and Kyo just sat across from each other because you can’t make a circle with only two people. Kyo read the next instruction, “3. All of the players call out either an even or an odd number. If you have only two players, they can’t both call the same thing.”

Tohru nodded and Kyo kept reading. “4. One person rolls the dice and then adds up the total of the two dice. If it is even, the people who called odds have to take off one article of clothing (shoes, socks, earrings, etc are all pairs). It is the same thing if the total is odd for the people who called even. If you called even and the total is even, then you do nothing.”

Tohru nodded and Kyo kept reading, “Keep repeating steps 3 and 4 to see who lasts longest. The one who lasts longest, wins.”

“Easy enough.” Tohru smiled, too drunk to care about the profanity of the game she chose. Kyo smiled, agreeing with Tohru. He picked up the dice.

“So we play,” he asked.

“Uh...Yeah.” Tohru nodded.

“Okay then, Even,” He called.

“Odds,” Tohru piped up. Kyo rolled. It was Odds. Tohru laughed, clapping to herself as Kyo grumbled, taking off both of his shoes.

“Odds,” Kyo announced.

“Evens,” Tohru said, claiming the only remaining choice…

Tohru rolled. It was Evens. Tohru laughed harder to herself as Kyo took his socks off, growling the whole time.

“Evens,” Tohru repeated.

“Odds,” Kyo growled, rolling the dice. It was odds. Kyo smiled, laughing at Tohru as she took her shoes off.

The game continued for several more rounds until the two of them were naked. This led to that and then, yeah.

You get the picture.

--End flashback: 2 weeks ago—

Tohru gasped, covering her crying eyes with her hands. This could not be happening to her. This is a dream, no a nightmare, she’s just asleep.

She will wake up in a little bit and everything will be the same. She won’t be pregnant with Yuki’s child, no wait, Kyo’s child. No, Yuki's child? No, Kyo's child? Tohru froze.

Whose child was it? Yuki’s or Kyo’s? Her mouth dropped in horror. There was no way to know unless she had the child. She couldn’t afford an abortion and she knew the Sohma family was against that type of stuff anyway (a/n: I am totally making that up XD). Tohru groaned, “What am I going to do about this? I am pregnant with a child and I don’t even know if it’s Yuki’s or Kyo’s. What do I do?”

On the other side of the door, Shigure gasped quietly as he learned of Tohru's news. He also was grinning slightly to himself as his head filled with evil ways to tell the boys and ways to make the boys' lives living hell. He was going to have so much fun with this. And he was going to enjoy every minute of it.
