Thunder crashed. Rain pelted against the windows of the tower. Lightning flashed, illuminating the four figures which stood in the room.

“How could you betray us like that?!” One yelled into his PET.

“That was the last straw. You are no longer a member of our group anymore.” A second figure yelled.

“That’s fine.” A female voice replied from the PET.

Inside the cyber network, four male navis surrounded a female one, as if ganging up on her.

“I never liked your group anyway.” She said.

One of the operators sighed. “Then why did you join us in the first place?”

Another operator smacked him in the head. “She didn’t have a choice, dummy!” her shrill voice pierced the air.

The female navi flinched. How she hated that voice. The voice of HER. SHE gave the order, and HER navi deleted her best friend right in front of her eyes. Gone forever.

She was her only friend. The only person she ever trusted and believed in. Now, she was gone, all because of HER.

After her best friend was deleted, the pain stayed in her heart. It bore a hole, and left a mark. Because she was a weak solo netnavi, she wandered the cyber network for ages. Then, she was confronted by the navi that killed her friend. The navi told her to join him, or she would be deleted. Then he disappeared, after giving her a time and date to meet him again, and telling her that if she didn’t, she would meet the same fate as her friend.

She thought about it, and plotted revenge for her friend. She would join him, train really hard, and then delete him for her friend. What she didn’t know was that she would be brainwashed into worshipping him and his group, and would be forced to do their bidding. Before long, she found herself thrown into a world of criminals, espionage, and secrecy.

Her mission this time was to rob a bank and bring the money back. Along the way, she saw a poor solo navi who looked very lonely, and reminded her of herself before she joined that group. A bit of her kindness leaked out, and she gave the money to the navi so he could be successful.

Of course, her leaders found out, and disaster struck.

Oh, how she missed her friend. It had been so long ago; that she was starting to forget what she looked like. Sure, she had been five times stronger and more skilled than she was, but that was because she was older. All that she could remember was a shadowed figure of her former friend.

One of the navis took a step towards her. “It’s time to pay…” and the world went black for the female navi.
