A/N: I had such a phenomenal response to my last phiction (well, phenomenal for me, at least) that I decided to immediately start working on a new one. I had one idea, which will be Chapter 1 of this one, if it gets off the ground.

I sort of liked this idea, and I figured I’d post a tiny snippet and see what public opinion said about it before deciding whether to continue or not. If I do, then it’s gonna be pretty epic! Anyhoodles, without further ado, the snippet!

The Beauty and the Beast and the Average Looking One

One night, there had been a confrontation in Erik’s home. As a frenzied mob ransacked the cellars looking for Erik, a boy and a man fought for a girl’s love. Raoul had won that fight, and Erik had lost. It was only sheer chance that had kept him alive after his loss.

Now, everything had come full circle. There was a confrontation taking place in Erik’s home. Now, however, it was two women—girls no longer—fighting for a man’s love. For Erik’s love.

Never did he expect to see the day when his breathtaking Christine would be on her knees before him, begging him, not to spare her boy, but to be her man. Yet that day was here. And Erik had a choice to make.

One was beautiful, one was not.
