The Journey of Ana Quarter

Ana Quarter, the women Frank Hardy can never stop thinking about, is over at Frank Hardy’s house and her and Frank are doing some homework together. Until Ana suggests that they should go for a walk. As they leave 17 year old Joe who is Frank’s younger brother is on the move. Ever since Frank has been dating Ana, Joe has been really jealous of Frank and he has been following there every move that they do together. Joe secretly put a small microphone that is the size of a peanut in Frank’s pocket of his jeans. The microphone picks up the signal of Joe headphone and sends the sound to the headphones so Joe can listen to whatever they are saying. The bad part is if Frank found out about the microphone he would kill him. Joe usually hides in the forest and peeks at them through the cracks between the trees while he is listening to what they are saying.

Frank and Ana have only been dating for a few weeks and Joe already knows everything about Ana. Her favourite colour is Purple, she grew up is France until she was 6 and moved to the USA. She likes the Beatles and Frank Sinatra. Ana also enjoys playing Volleyball and watching French soap operas. Infact Joe knows more about Ana than Frank does. As Ana and Frank sit on a picnic bench the signal of the microphone picks up and Joe can hear them more clearly. He hears Frank sigh and say “I am going to miss you for the next few weeks Ana. I am going on a trip to Mexico to help my Father solve a really important case.” Joe screams in silence because he can make a move on Ana while Frank is gone. Joe stops his celebration for a moment while he hears Ana say “That’s too bad. I wanted you to see my volleyball game next week. As a matter of fact, why doesn’t your brother come and film it with my dad’s new video camera, then when you come back you can watch it.” Joe eyes widen and he feels great. He starts thinking of pick up lines and moves he can make on her. Franks says “yes, that would be awesome; I will get him to call you later tonight”. They both say good bye and hug each other. Joe jumps up in the air and sprints home so he can get there before Frank.

“I’m Home”! Frank calls out when he opens the door “Hey Joe, Come here” Frank shouts. Joe hustles down the white carpeted stairs and Franks challenges him to a game of pool. As Joe knocks in 3 balls they discuss Frank’s trip to Mexico and how he needs Joe to tape Ana’s Volleyball game. Joe calls Ana and she asks him to meet her at her house on Sunday Morning. The next 2 days fly by and Frank is already in Mexico to help there Dad with a case. Before Joe leaves he eats a huge breakfast and says goodbye to his Mom. When Joe arrives at Ana’s she is reading a purple book that looks familiar to Joe. Ana quickly shoves the book under her bed and shows Joe the camera. After she shows him the camera they go and watch a French soap opera with English subtitles. Joe remembers what the book was about that she was reading. It was called “Love, Love, and more love” it’s about relationships and pickup lines. Then she says to Joe “You got a girl friend?” Joe says “no” and she says “I will teach you how to pick up girls”. She moves closer to Joe and whispers” you have to tell her you love her”. Then “I love you” slides out of Joe’s mouth. Ana moves in closer to Joe and kisses Joe on the lips. Joe is in shock and immediately thinks of his older brother Frank. What if Frank finds out? What am I going to do?, Joe says to himself.
