Prologue
A young girl around 5 years of age, sits in her room reading a letter. It was a letter from her cousin Tala, he lives in Russia. She enjoyed his letters and always wanted to meet him but he always said he couldn’t leave. She wrote back to him everyday and asked what he did. He always told her that he trained to become a great beyblader. Meagan always wanted to blade so she got her own from her parents one Christmas and started to train. She then became friends with the people that form the elementals. She was thrilled!
Chapter 1-Meeting the Elementals
“Come on Stacey! You can do it!” yelled two excited teenage girls. They were at a school beyblade competition. The schools in America decided to start this so that kids can join a sport and like what they do. “It doesn’t help with you shouting at her,” said another girl smiling at the other two. “Aw come on Meg! That’s how we are supposed to support a team member, remember?” Meagan just shook her head and smiled at her team mates. They were like sisters to her and she enjoyed it. They always made her day.
“And it looks like Stacey takes this match!” yelled the school hired announcer dude. Stacey walked toward her team and gave a thumbs up. The girls ran to their team mate and friend and hugged her. “Great job Stacey,” they congratulated. They finally won their 10th competition and they were excited. “Aw, it was nothing girls,” she said well blushing. She looked at Meagan and she gave her a thumbs up. “Hey Meg, does this mean that we don’t have to train for a week? You promised!” asked Stacey. “Yeah whatever you say Stacey,” said a smirking Meagan. She knew fully well that she didn’t say that but it did sound like a good idea. The three hugging girls cheered and pounced on their un-expecting captain. “Oof!” groaned Meagan and pushed them off of her. She playfully glared at the trio and then started laughing. They followed suit after that. “Well it looks like the Elementals will be celebrating tonight,” said the announcer. The girls just got up and started walking out of the stadium.
Meagan opened her door and shouted, “Yo! I’m home!!” Taking her shoes off, she heard the sound of footsteps. “Three, two, one,” she counted in her head. Two young red-headed boys threw themselves on her. “Oof!” said Meagan and was the ground a second time that day. “Did you win? Did cha, did cha?” both boys asked at the same time. “What do you two think?” said Meagan smartly. “YOU WON!” they screamed and ran to tell their parents. “Your brothers need to calm down just a little bit,” remarked her faithful bit-beast Shadow. “A little bit,” scoffed Meagan. “More like a whole lot!” Shadow could only chuckle at his mistress’s playfulness. That’s what he liked about her. She could be serious when need be but she doesn’t . . . she lets her hair down, so to speak. “I love you,” she sang. “Always little one, always,” he replied and then left. “I wanted you to stay Shadow! Now I’m all lonely again,” thought Meagan sadly. She looked up and saw her parents staring at her smiling. “Oh boy!”
“I can’t believe you won 10 times in a row,” her mother said giving her a big hug. “Mom,” Meagan choked. “I can’t breathe.” “Oh sorry,” said her mom and let her down. “This happens every time huh Meagan?” said her dad and pulled her into a light hug. “Hey dad now that you’re hugging me . . . mind cracking my back?” Her dad just laughed and did it for her. “Thanks daddie!” she said and grinned at her father. “I don’t see the point in this sport for school,” stated her oldest brother, Garrett. “Well it’s fun and most kids are in it. They just need a team.” Garrett just glared at his younger sibling and stuck his tongue out.
Stacey quietly closed the front door of her house and walking up to her room. It was her safe haven and nobody could take that from her . . . until today. She stopped and saw that all her stuff was in the hallway. “What the heck!?” she thought and wanted an explanation. “Did you forget already mistress?” came her bit-beast Flame’s reply. “Forget what?” “That your grandparents were fixing up your room and that you were supposed to stay with Meagan for a week.” “WHAT! Why didn’t you tell me this sooner or I wouldn’t have walked up here!?” “Hehe . . . well . . . the funny thing is I sorta forgot too.” “FLAME!” yelled Stacey and stomped down the stairs. Her grandparents popped their heads out the doorway and looked at each other. “She forgot didn’t she?” asked her grandmother to her grandfather. They both heard the door slam shut. “Yep!” came his answer and went back to work.
Stacey angrily walked down to Meagan’s house. She really couldn’t believe that she forgot something so important. It really wasn’t like her to forget. “Maybe you’re just having a day off?” suggested her bit-beast. “Maybe,” Stacey answered, smiling. That’s what she liked about Flame, she had a answer to everything. “Why are you smiling?” asked Flame. “Just remembering that I liked you because you had an answer to everything.” “I love you to Stac,” joked Flame. “You too Flar,” Stacey joked back.
Jess walked into her house and was nearly tripped by her dog Luka. “Oh Luka,” she thought and petted the puppy. She then went into the living room and greeted her family. “How did the tournament go?” asked her grandfather. “It went well,” she answered smiling. “WE WON!” “That’s great sweetie,” said her grandmother. Jess smiled and hugged her grandma. “Thanks grandma. “My pleasure Jess.” “Aww! Isn’t that cute?” said Angel. “Oh Angel not now, actually not ever! I got a headache right now though.” “Oh sorry,” whispered Angel and went away.
Jess sat in her bedroom trying to fight her younger brother Duncan out of her room. She sighed and called Angel. “Yes mistress?” she asked. “Can you please get Duncan out of my room?” “My pleasure mistress.” Jess saw a glow come out of her blade and saw a brown horse with gold armor come out. “Please master Duncan, can you get out?” Duncan could only nod to the bit-beast and left. “There ya go,” said Angel and disappeared. Jess sighed and said, “Thanks Angel, I love ya for that one.”
Heather opened her door, only to be bombarded with all kinds of questions. Her boyfriend was there and he was a big fan of the sport. “It went great sweetheart,” answered Heather and walked into her room. He followed her in and sat down on the bed. She smiled at him and cuddled up next to him. Heather loved her boyfriend and he always watched them play at competitions with other schools, but he couldn’t be at this one. She wasn’t sad or nothing because she knew he couldn’t be at everyone. “Mistress Heather,” said her bit-beast Evil. “Yes?” “Your boyfriend is trying to speak.” Heather snapped out of her thoughts and listened to her boyfriend. He was talking about all the great things about beyblading and Heather really didn’t want to here it. “I’m gonna kill you, you stupid ferret.” She could only here him chuckle at her misfortune.
About an hour later, Heather was able to get her boyfriend to leave and took a long shower. She enjoyed it and really, really needed it. (Well according to herself anyway.) After getting out of the shower, she got dressed in her PJs and watched television. She saw that they were talking about the world famous BladeBreakers. “Oh come on,” she thought. “Give it up already! We already know about them.” “Many people like them mistress.” “I never said I didn’t like them but people talk about them way to much.” “You know, if you wanted to hear about the BladeBreakers, you could of asked Meagan.” “But what’s the fun in that! I know Meagan knows one of them.” “Aw, but do you know which one?” Heather looked at the tv screen and watched each member pass up into the camera. “Nope!” Evil could only chuckle. “I love you Evil, you know that!” “Always Heather!”
