Ok, my mind is totally blank now… I can’t decide how to finish the other fic because I have so many different ways to do it so I’ll probably post all of ‘em as alternates later. In the meantime, I have been coming up with a few other fic ideas so enjoy this one!
No yaoi, sorry peoples. Maybe next time….Maybe not…I’ll decide if i want to write a yaoi when I start to write the others. In the meantime though, bare with me and enjoy this fic instead! Not entirely about Itachi and Gaara, lots of other main characs too but this is a story for the Uchiha lovers out there! 'cept Sasuke, not much of him will be in this, I want to try to keep the focus on the characs that have less screentime in the anime ('specially Gaara!!! X3) a friend wanted me to write a fic with Gaara so i hope she likes it when he comes into the story.
Comments and constructive criticism greatly appreciated. Rated T for language.

The Last Judgment
Chapter 1: Reprisal?
The sun had set. The rain streamed down heavily as the silvery moon slowly rose in the strangely cloudless night sky. The light reflected from the moon shone down on the now saturated land. The pouring rain went unnoticed however, by a man standing on top of a rocky cliff. His appearance was a mess; the drenched black cloak with red clouds he wore was torn in many places, his face and hands bathed in his own blood. He took uneven breaths as he stood on top of the highest peak of the rocky, mountainous region Akatsuki had now chosen as their current headquarters. He seemed to be waiting for something and every now and then, his eyes narrowed in search of any movement from below. He settled for a moment after sensing nothing and stood leaning his weight on a large tree. He breathed in sharply.
“Why did I… do that…?” he sighed to himself. Suddenly he heard a scream from where he had just fled form a very familiar voice he had hoped he’d never hear again:
“ITACHIIIII!”
Finally, he saw them. 'So those bastards finally caught up with me…' He thought, watching the silhouettes of the Akatsuki leaders move in his direction.
He looked at his surroundings and smirked. On the left laid a dark forest, a perfect, predictable place to go on the run and hide. On the right in the far distance lay the deadly desert, a death trap to all who wondered there.
Itachi smirked. He started walking down the right path. The fools would never dream that he would head in this direction when there was the safety of an immense forest nearby. It would be risky for him to venture here but he decided to take the chance.
He wandered through the vast desert, the cold night air shot straight through his body like daggers. He watched as a small scorpion scattered along the sand, trying not to be blown away by the strong winds. After walking a fair distance from the Akatsuki hideout, he felt it wise to take a break before continuing his escape. He came across a small cave of some sort. He went inside, out of the cold air and sharp winds, and fell into a light slumber.
After what felt like a mere moment, Itachi awoke to the unmasked face of one of Konoha’s founding fathers, Uchiha Madara. He backed away from his ancestor. He knew his previous actions that night wouldn’t go unpunished by his elder but he also knew his life wouldn’t be ended very quickly. As the Bijuu run rampant, he would only watch as Madara caught his younger brother’s friend and tore the beast from inside his body, and see his brother’s face, telling him to stop this madness once again like he had once before…
“Itachi you will pay for this!” Madara snarled.
“For what, Madara? Reprisal?”
“YOU LET LOOSE THE EIGHT BIJUU, RUNT!” His patience was wearing thin from the statement the younger Uchiha had made. The sound of his voice seemed to agitate him now. He leapt forwards to finally end the cynical prodigy’s life, impatient and determined, but in the blink of his crimson eye, the younger Uchiha had disappeared in a cloud of smoke. “A kage-bushin… Itachi, I will get you for this! Don’t think I won’t… little traitor…”
‘Hypocrite…’ Itachi thought as he felt his kage-bushin fall. ‘You’re the traitor here, Madara…if only I could prove it…I’ll show you all… one day…it wasn’t my fault…’ with that last thought, the Uchiha collapsed from sheer exhaustion after his tiresome ordeal, and passed out on one of the trees in the seemingly eternal forest, sufficiently sheltered from the rain...
YAYS! I’m so glad I got this new story up! That’s the first chappy. I don’t think this fic is going to be VERY long but I’m not the best at updating anyways… not punctual at all with that sorta thing (especially my homework… I have essays to write but I had more ideas and wrote this instead…oopsie boredom overload...)
Please please PLEASE tell me if this sucks because i don’t wanna bother to write it if nobody likes to read it. Don’t make me waste my time and yours! I won’t take offense if you don’t like it. So just tell me plz ,
