THIS IS NOT AN UPDATE. INSTEAD, THIS IS AN URGENT NOTICE AND A PLEA FOR HELP. More or less. Ha.

So, this story, Twelve Roses, has lain dormant for nearly a year - since last Valentine's Day, in fact. Which is, I suppose, not really that bad, considering the update rates of other authors. But the point remains - it's been on hiatus way too long. And I'm not planning to write any more. I thought I was inspired for this story, thought I could write and write and write... but what was supposed to be a one shot turned into a multichap, which turned into more than I could handle.

Well, I suppose I could handle it. I just don't want to. Nyah.

My normal response to a situation like this would be to just delete the story. But this fic got a lot (more or less) of reader response, and I know some people really want an update. And I didn't want to be totally mean and take it down altogether, so this leads to my proposition:

Does anyone want to continue this fic for me?

If you reply YES, then I'll email or PM you the three chapter beginnings I have. Feel free to do with them as you will. I will also put up a notice here, as a new chapter, and then, a month later, delete this fic. The lucky (or not-so-lucky) person who chooses to continue writing this will put it up on their profile... and I'll review. :D

If no one says yes by... maybe two months, how does that sound? I'll delete this fic permanently. I'm sorry for being such a lazyass, but I'm really busy with school and all of my other fics, and I promise y'all will get something for Valentine's day this year, so.
