This is NOT my first fanfiction, but it IS my first fanfiction I’ve ever posted. My first fanfiction (unless you count the one I did over the summer when I got bored) is called You, Me, and JB, and may be put on here soon.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not, and never will, own the Jonas Brothers. If I did, I wouldn't be writing fanfictions, I'd be figuring out how to prank Joe. Enjoy
I hadn't been able to believe it until now. I mean, I knew it, but it just seemed too good to be true, but now, I was there, completely overwhelmed, and had no excuse to not believe it. I was standing in line to see a Jonas Brothers concert.
I stood in line, waiting with my mom and my best friend, Carson. Carson was twirling her hair nervously, and I had to keep flattening her long, blonde hair every time she messed it up. I had my long, light brown hair curled, so it looked like looked like Miley Cyrus's at her concerts. My mom would occaisionally fic a strand of curls, or straiten my dress. I was wearing a flowery, light pink, light blue, and sea foam green babydoll, tunic-dress with white leggins underneath and a sequinced, white tank top under. I was also wearing white ballet flats that had some sequins on them that shined blue, pink, green, and purple.
Carson was wearing a dark purple tee shirt with a decorative, black skull and a short, black, dressy vest over it. She was wearing skinny, red jeans and purple, high-top converse. I told her she was dressed weird and they'd probably think we were yhe oddest companions if we went to a meet and greet, but she didn't care, so we were girly and rocker.
On the way there, I felt like I had over dressed, but when we got there, I saw a ton of girls wearing dresses. I saw a limo pull up and the screaming started. I nudged Carson and when she looked at me, I nodded in the direction of the black vehicle. The door opened and Mr. Jonas stepped out, he helped his wife out, then Kevin came out, followed by Joe, then Nick, who was followed by Frankie. All the boys waved as they walked towards the doors, even Frankie, who was blowing kisses.
They were all looking around at their fans, and Joe caught a look at Carson. He smiled and waved at her, then Nick saw what he was looking at and I could tell he was trying not to laugh: But we both knew she wore what she did so she could het Joe's attention, but he was also thinking something else.
Nick POV
I heard and dreaded the screaming. The
door was opened by my dad, who gave a quick look of support before
getting out. He helped Mom out, then Kevin looked back at me, Joe and
Frankie before also getting out. Joe smiled at me and got out. I got
to the door and got out with Frankie right behind me.
We walked towards the door, waving and smiling, and in Frankie's case, blowing kisses. He looked ready to start signing autographs.
I
saw Joe looking in a distinct direction, so I looked over. I saw a
girl with red pants, a purple shirt and converse, and a black vest. I
tried not to laugh, thinking about how well they'd go together.
Beside her was one of the only girls not screaming. She was smiling,
and if she wasn't in the middle of a crowd of screaming girls, I
would have probably mistaken her for an angel. She looked away from
the other girl and saw me staring at her. She looked down, blushing,
and bit her lip. Her bangs were cut similar to Miley's and her hair
was layered, and came pretty far past her shoulders, and it was
curled. She wore no makeup, except lip gloss, if that counts.
She
was beautiful.
Devonny POV
"Devonny,"
Carson sang. I looked away from her and saw Nick looking in my
direction. I looked down, biting my lip. I looked back at him and saw
him looking forward again. They disappeared through the doors. We
waited for awhile longer. "Those boys get any hotter, they're
gonna hafta use a fire extinguisher on them," Carson said. I
rolled my eyes. She was sixteen and in the grade higher than me,
sophomore. I was fourteen and a freshman.
The line finally started
moving with us about the thirteenth in line. We got to the front and
we went in. We went to our seats, our excitement overwhelming us, To
top it off, we were in the seventh row, in the middle. Finally, after
a little bit of waiting, it was time for the concert.
Nick
POV
During the lockdown, I could hardly think about anything
except.. her. When it was finally time to go out, I told myself I had
to focus. We stood at the sides of the stage, me and Joe on one side,
Kevin on the other, ready to go out, The music started as we started
playing our guitars, and we walked out, lights flashing, but dark. We
had planned it out, so we had strips of glow tape marking out paths
through the mostly-dark stage. We got to our spots and more lights
flashed.
After a few songsThe next song was 'Hello Beautiful,' and an idea hit me. No,I thought, I can't do that, I can't get attached. 'Still In Love With You' finished and I traded my guitar for my acoustic. I'll let Joe choose.
Devonny POV
It was 'Hello Beautiful' next, I knew because they got
their acoustic guitars out. "This is my favorite part,"
Kevin said. "Let's get some romantic on ya." He looked at
his brothers, who both gave slight nods. "Umm, how about..."
he scanned the crowds. "You." He turned back and quickly
mumbled something into another microphone behind him.
The
spotlight fell on me.
Kevin POV
Nick couldn't've thought I
hadn't seen him looking at that girl earlier. I looked at all of our
fans, and I finally found her. "You!" I said, pointing at
her, not that she could tell. I turned around and talked into the
microphone for talking got our backstage people and light guys.
"Pretty girl, curly hair, blue and pink dress, row seven,"
I said quickly. Not to brag, but I was an expert at this.
Nick
POV
No, he didn't. I'll kill him. Maybe it just looks like he's
pointing at her, and he really means- nope, it's her. The light's on
her, it's her. She looked stunned and her blonde friends nudged her
and she snapped out of it. She furrowed her eyebrows and then looked
around, not knowing what to do. I looked over at Big Rob and nodded.
He got up and went down the aisle. He stood at the end of her row and
she came out. They walked towards the stage. She looked around,
truing to figure out how to get up on stage. Big Rob told her
something and she nodded, her curls bouncing.
He lifted her up and put her gently on the stage. She straitened and walked towards us. All this time, Joe was trying to figure out where he had put the stool, and finally brought it out. He put it in the middle of the stage. She gave a small smile and sat down.
Devonny POV
I wasn't
sure what to do. The I saw Big Rob. I walked out to him and he led me
to the stage. I couldn't figure out how to get up. "I'll lift
you up, okay?" he said. I nodded. He did and I stood up. I went
towards them. On the outside, I may have looked completly calm, but
thats only because I was an excellent actress. On the inside, I was
screaming.
Joe put a stool in the middle of the stage and I sat down. The music started. Nick started singing, and I nearly jumped when I heard his voice so close. I looked at him. He was looking out at the audience, looked at me, smiling, but still singing, then back out. "I've been missing you, it's true," he stepped back.
I looked at Kevin playing his guitar. He looked like he was in heaven. He very clearly enjoyed what he did. He saw me watching him and gave me a small smirk. What was that about? I looked back at Nick, who was walking back towards his stand, apparently having been back near the drums.
The chorus ended and Nick started singing again. I feel myself meting from him voice. When he stopped singing, Joe picked it up, singing in a way that was probably making Carson swoon. I looked back at Nick. Bad idea.
Nick
POV
I looked at her as I sang. She had beautiful, brilliant,
turquoise eyes that were simply sparkling.
Stop it, Nick! You can't do this. You can't fall. Near
the end of the song, impulse took me over. I went to do something I
only did every once and a while when we played this song to a girl.
Kevin
POV
I saw it coming. I couldn't stop it. but I knew it was coming.
He only did it every once and a while, usually when he was really
happy about something. She was watching Joe when Nick came up. It was
almost the end of the song. "Those-" Joe sang. It happened.
Nick went to kiss her on the cheek, and she turned her head at the
very last moment. I quickly knew Nick would blame me later. Their
lips met.
