“My Queen, the villains have entered the kingdom!” A voice said. A woman in a royal blue gown with waist-long blonde hair turned around facing the figure. The figure was a dog type creature that can walk on its hind legs. The figure had paws for hands and had a spike on each paw. On its chest was yellow fur that surrounded the whole chest and had a spike on its top part of its chest.

“I know Lucario, but I can’t leave my child behind.” The queen said as she turned towards her child with sad blue eyes.

“But my queen, if you stay here the villains will take over the kingdom!” Another voice said. The figure was a 3 and a half feet tall hedgehog. The hedgehog had blood-red eyes and red streaks on its upward quills arms and legs. He has white chest fur in a weird diamond shape. He was wearing red and black jet shoes, white gloves and gold bracelets.

“Shadow, you’ve been my friend for a long time but, I want my child to take the throne.” The queen said.

“Aurora, if the castle is going to be invaded by the villains, then your child will die.” Lucario said. Aurora thought for awhile in silence until she spoke.

“Lucario, Shadow, I want you both to do something for me.” Aurora said.

“Yes!” They both said in unison.

“I want you both to take my child to the real word.” Aurora said.

“What, you can’t be serious!” Shadow shouted in shocked.

“I’m doing what’s right, Shadow. My child will be safe their from the villains.” Aurora said as tears poured out of her blue eyes.

“How will the child survive?” Lucario asked still in shocked.

“I looked for a family and I found one. They are called the McNally’s. I already told Otto and Tails to get the portal ready. It will take you directly to the McNally’s house. Since the real world’s time is completely different from ours, I want you both to get my child when she is fourteen years old.” Aurora said sternly as tears continued to slide down her cheeks. Shadow and Lucario looked at each other and then back at the queen. “Do you both understand on what to do?” Aurora asked. Shadow hesitated before answering.

“We understand, Aurora.” Shadow said. Aurora walked over to the crib and picked up her sleeping child with a silky blue blanket and put a crystal arrowhead necklace around the baby’s neck. Aurora gently gave the child to Shadow. Shadow looked down at the child with sad eyes along with Lucario.

“Mulan, can you get my armor and my crystal head spear for me?” Aurora asked a Chinese girl with shoulder length black hair.

“You’re intending to fight your majesty?” Mulan asked.

“I must for the prophecy to be fulfilled.” Aurora said.

“What was the prophecy again?” Lucario asked embarrassed.

“Those who walk the Land,

Those who swim the sea,

Are the answers,

And the key,

But those who fly high,

May say good-bye,

To this war,

And live no more,

As the phoenix is reborn,

So is the past,

Its is time to mourn,

But as pearl of heart gleams,

A bright light shall of hope shall beam,

Day and Night, Ying and Yang,

It means not the same,

For fire and ice combine,

To end the destruction,

For all time.” Aurora said as the others were silent. “Shadow, Lucario, get going and be quick about it because we’re going to need all help we can get to defend the kingdom.” Aurora said as she and Mulan ran towards outside as Shadow and Lucario ran further inside the castle to get to the portal. “Shadow, Lucario, if I don’t make it through this battle, I want the both of you to train her along with everyone else in the kingdom.” Aurora thought hoping that they will hear her thought. Shadow and Lucario were running towards the portal room when they heard Aurora’s thought.

“We understand, Aurora.” They both thought as they entered the room.

“Lucario, Shadow, I was about to come to get you guys.” A green robot monkey with black eyes said.

“Sorry Otto but Aurora kept us a little longer.” Lucario said.

“Well, are you guys ready to go?” A two-tailed fox with white fur covering his chest, tarsal, and muzzle and yellow-orange fur covering the rest of him and had blue eyes.

“We sure are, Tails.” Shadow said.

“Ok.” Tails said as he signaled Otto to turn the portal on. Their was a bright light that grew into a circle(think about the portal in Sonic X if you seen it).

“Ok guys, you both ten minutes to drop the princess off and to get back.” Otto said. Lucario and Shadow nodded and they both ran into the portal.

In the real world:

A glowing vortex opened up in the sky and two figures came out of the portal.

“Why couldn’t Otto make the portal open up on the ground instead of the sky?” Lucario asked in a frustrated voice as both he and Shadow were falling towards the ground. “Shadow, can you Chaos Control us to the ground?” Lucario asked as he faced his friend.

“I can’t. The reason why is because this world is different from ours and its gravity is pulling us downwards faster than ours.” Shadow said as he held the baby close to him. Before they hit the ground, Shadow turned around for he will hit the ground first and to keep the child safe.

BAM!!

Lucario landed face first in a pile of leaves while Shadow landed on his back, hard. Shadow started to hear the baby whimpering before it started crying. Shadow stood up slowly and started to rock the baby in his arms.

“Shh, its ok little princess. Don’t cry.” Shadow whispered in her ear. His soothing voice worked as the baby stopped crying.

“I don’t understand how you are able to keep her calm.” Lucario said as he pulled his head out of the leave pile he landed in.

“Maybe I stayed by her side long enough for her to trust me.” Shadow said as he smiled at the sleeping princess in his arms. Lucario chuckled at that comment.

“Let’s hurry up and drop the child off so we can go back and help the queen.” Lucario said as Shadow nodded and they ran up the hill towards the house. When they reached the house, Shadow walked to the front door and gently put the baby in front of the door. Before Shadow got up, the baby princess grabbed one of Shadow’s fingers with one of her small hands. Shadow looked down at the infant as tears started to well in his eyes(I’m crying while typing, TT). Then, Shadow took a deep breath and pushed the doorbell.

“Coming.” A female voice said as Shadow and Lucario jumped on the roof as the door opened. “Hello?” The woman asked but no one answered. The woman was about to close the door until she heard a whimpering noise under her. She looked down to see a baby with soft blue eyes looking up. “Craig, Come here!” The woman yelled to her husband. Then a tall guy with black hair came by the woman side.

“What is it, Pam?” Craig asked looking at his wife.

“Look, someone had put this child on our deck near the door.” Pam said as she turned around for Craig to see the child.

“Is anyone out their!” Craig yelled.

Meanwhile:

Shadow(who is still on the roof with Lucario) wanted to answer, but he was biting his bottom lip his so he can keep his promise to Aurora.

“Craig, why don’t we raise her?” Pam asked.

“Ok, she will keep Ada company, but what will we name her?” Craig asked

“We’ll name her…Victoria.” Pam said as she hugged the baby and followed Craig back inside with Victoria. Once Shadow and Lucario heard the door closed, they jumped down. They both were holding tears back as Shadow pressed a communicator button on his wrist.

“Otto, open the portal.” Shadow said in a stern voice.

“Ok, Shadow.” Otto replied as a portal opened up. Lucario went through the portal first as Shadow followed. Before Shadow went threw the portal, he looked back at the house as tears finally came streaming down his face.

“May your keep an eye over you, Princess Victoria.” Shadow whispered as he went threw the portal not bothering to rub his tears away.

And so, the story begins…..

Ok… so this story is a crossover with all the cartoons on Fanfiction….I will eventually put a map of the Kingdom on deviantart and search for the name ShadMariafangirl….anyway I won’t continue my other stories until this one is finished because I had this story planed for 3 months…so I’m just telling you this so you won’t I stopped on my other stories.
