Jeepers Creepers III: Crazy Meets Beast
Chapter 5: The Tricks on you
“What do you mean she’s gone!?” A older man yelled angrily as he stormed his way down the white hallways. A young nurse was trying to keep up with him with a embarrassed and worried expressions covering her face. “I went in to give her breakfast and medication but the room was empty.” She answered with a shaking voice. “That girl isn’t anywhere near capable of running off!” Doctor Kelso growled as he entered room 603 to find it, just as the nurse said, empty.
He stood near the bed while trying to calm himself down. “Her medication should keep her from moving no more then to the bathroom and back.” He ripped the blanket off the bed, making the pillow tumble off with it. To his surprise, three or four bright yellow pills fell out of the pillow case. “She hasn’t be taking them?” He turned harshly to the nurse. “I thought you said you made sure she ate every one of the pills for the last few days?” He asked trying not to raise his voice. “I saw her put them in her mouth!” The nurse protested hoping the doctor wouldn’t blame all of this on her.
Doctor Kelso sighed and sat down on the stripped bed. He placed his face in his hands and sighed. “We have to find that girl.” He mumbled quietly. He hardly noticed the nurse sitting down next to him and placing her hand on his shoulder. “Doctor, I realize its not safe for her to be out on her own in her condition.” She paused for a moment to place her hand back in her lap. “But why are you getting so frustrated over it all. If anything someone will find her.” Dr shook his head and looked over at the young nurse. “You don’t understand Nancy. That’s what I’m afraid of.” He sighed again and shook his head. “Her suppressed memories only allow her to remember the basic fact that her family was killed. She won’t allow herself to remember how it really happened.” The nurse became more interested in this information. She scooted closer, her eyes fixed on his older face. “What really happened doctor?” She asked softly waiting for him to answer. He slowly turned his head so their eyes locked. He was hesitant to answer that question...

Molly woke up feeling extra stiff. She rolled over and let out a moan as she stood up. She heard her back make a cracking sound at lest three times. Oh yes, sleeping on the floor brought so many happy morning surprises. After letting out a loud yawn she looked around for the Creeper but didn’t find him anywhere in site. She remembered telling the Creeper that she would help him remake his ‘wall art’, then...she must have fell asleep. “Ooooh” She cried as she stretched.
She made her way over to the desk where the Creeper does all of his little projects. ‘A form of gloss that keeps the body from decaying’ Was all this stuff in the bottles what keeps his art in good shape? She picked up a funny looking beaker and peered through at the strange looking liquid. After placing it back down, she went to the stair case and walked up to the church. It was still pretty stuffy inside the room. And now with the light from the sun shining inside she was able to see more of the room. It looked badly burnt. She was surprised it didn’t cave in on them last night!
Molly quickly made her way outside to breath in some fresh air. She looked around again for the Creeper but still couldn’t find him. Had he left to go do something? She sighed and looked down at her feet. She just then noticed all of the yellow police tape on the ground. It was everywhere! She frowned and kicked at some of the yellow tape before sitting down on the steps on the front door to the church. What a bore. She had to find something to do while the Creeper was gone...
Molly wondered around the uh, ‘yard’. She noticed the large pipe sticking out of the ground and ran over to it. That’s the same pipe that went down the Creepers ‘work space’. She smiled and stuck her head in the pipe. “HELLO!” she screamed and listened for the echo. She giggled hearing her own voice yell back at her. Out of no where she heard a scratching sound. She stopped her laughing and looked back down. “...” She squinted trying to see what could have made the sound. A large brown rat came running up the pipe. Molly screamed in surprise and jumped back at the Rat leaped out of the pipe right at her. She stumbled backwards and fell on her butt.
The rat ran off into the trees. It was probably just as scared as she was. She must have given the poor thing a heart attack while she was messing around. Molly got back to her feet and brushed off her butt. She walked back over to the steps and stood there for a while. “Oh, I have a idea.” She ran inside and after a minute or two she came back out dragging one of the benches out with her. She pushed the bench up along the churches wall. She smiled feeling proud of herself and sat down.
Before she knew it, Molly had fallen back to sleep. The warmth of the sun got to her and she took a small nap on the bench.
A few hours later, The Creeper returned to find Molly sleeping outside. At least she didn’t go back on her word and tried to run away. She was a strange girl. He walked up to her, blocking the sun from her small body. Molly wiggled her nose before sitting up. “Oh your back!” She chirped as she got to her feet. The Creeper then threw something to her which she almost dropped. “Eep!” She looked down to see her backpack! She had left it at the barn when she met the Creeper. He went back and got it for her? “Thank you!” She smiled and poked around inside it. He stared down at the girl feeling pleased with himself.
Without giving her any form of warning, The Creeper scooped Molly up and shot off into the sky. She let out a yelp and ended up dropping her backpack again. “Where are we going?” She called, hanging onto him for dear life, much like she did last night. And of course the Creeper didn’t answer her.
They ended up behind a small building. Molly looked up at the sign that stood near the street. “A dinner?” She asked looking up at him but he wasn’t there. “...whatever Creeper.” She mumbled and walked inside. People turned to stare at her when the door closed behind her. She blushed not liking all the attention and made her way to the counter. She hopped up onto a stool and looked around. “What will it be?” Asked a plump lady with flaming red hair that was kept in a bun. “...um, some milk would be nice.” She said shrugging. ‘That it?” The women asked but shrugged and walked off to the back.
As Molly waited for her drink a man came up and sat next to her. “You must not eat vary much.” He said smiling down at her. “I don’t really have that much money.” She admitted and tried to smile back. The man looked away for a moment and scratched at his ear before leaning closer to Molly. “If your really hungry. I can give you some cash.” He offered giving her that smile again. Molly blinked and stared up at him. “Really? You’d do that?” she asked feeling her stomach growl. “Yeah, but actually, I left my wallet in my car.” The man stood up. Molly got a weird feeling from this. “Would ya come with me to get it?” He asked as he held out his hand. “...sure” Molly mumbled and got up. As they passed by a table Molly’s hip accidentally bumped into it. “Oh, Sorry.” She apologized to the couple that were eating. “Where’d my knife go? How am I suppose to eat this now?” “Dear don’t be so dramatic, just ask the waitress to get another one.”
Molly glanced back at the two before following the man out the door and to his car. He opened the door and pulled the seat forwards so the back seat was excitable. “I hurt my back really bad the other day.” He winced and held his lower back. “Could you reach In there and grab it? Its in that black bag.” He pointed and Molly followed his finger. “...I suppose I could.” she started to crawl into the car when she felt pressure on her hips. The man grabbed onto her and threw her into the back of the car. “What are you doing?!” She shouted as he pushed back the seat and got into the drivers seat of the car. “Oh I told you I’ll give you money for your meal and I will. But I’ll need something from you first.” He grinned starting the car. Molly curled up in the back seat, afraid of what he meant. “...I don’t understand.” She cried and watched as he turned to her. “You’ll understand soon.” He let out a chuckle as he pulled out of the parking lot.
He glanced over to the rear view mirror to see Molly quivering in the back seat. ‘Aren’t you tired of this pathetic bastard yet?’ “Yes...” ‘So do it...we both know it’s the right thing.’ “...The right thing.”
“Help...” She whispered as she shook. The man let out a laugh. “Your not getting any help.” He grinned. “No, Someone needs to help you.” Molly mumbled as she sat up in her seat. “What did you sa-“ Before he was able to finish his sentence Molly held something cold to his neck. “You need to start calling for help.” She whispered in his ear as she roughly ran the cold blade across his neck. Blood pored from the thin line and ran down his chest. He started to make a sick gargling sound as he touched his neck with his free hand. Molly then crawled into the front seat and sat there to watch him bleed to death. “Your right. There is no help.” Molly’s lips stuck out as she pouted. “No one can hear a dead man’s scream.” The car turned off the road as the man’s hands slowly slipped away from the wheel. Molly quickly opened the car door and jumped out a few minutes before it hit head on to a tree. She got up from the ground and heard her back crack similar to this morning. As she made her way over to the car something landed in front of her. “Hi Creeper!” Molly chirped up to him.
The Creeper’s lips twitched in what looked like a vary small smile. He turned and walked over to the car. He bent down and peered in at the man. He was still twitching slightly, his face pushed up against the reached in and pulled the man out by the back of his head. He held the disgusting excuse of a human up into the air and started to sniff.
Molly could see the man’s eyes from between Creepers fingers. They were wide open. With a mixture of pain and fear. His brown eyes then rolled up into the back of his head. ‘Don’t you just love that feeling?’ “What feeling?” ‘The feeling of satisfaction.’ Creeper threw him to the ground and started to rip him apart. This brought back a question to Molly. Why hadn’t he done this to her when he woke up? He sniffed her just like the other two but never tore her apart and devoured her.
Molly was starting to get used to Creeper eating in front of her. She sat down and watched with her chin resting on the top of her knees. She sighed feeling her stomach growl again. She never got that meal. Her eyes widened a little when she remembered something. The Creeper had stopped to watch her run back to the car and pull out a black bag. Inside the bag was the man’s wallet. “Well at least he didn’t lie about that.” She mumbled to herself as she emptied the wallet and put the money in her pocket. “Done?” Molly asked and turned around. The Creeper was standing right in front of her again. She hadn’t even heard him get up! Blood dripped from his mouth as he stared down at her. “...W-what?” she asked looking away from his eyes. She felt her face grow hot as he huffed at her. She was starting to confuse him. He wrapped his arms around her and jumped up into the air. Molly was defiantly NOT getting used to this part though.
She closed her eyes as they flew off into the clouds. Creeper had Molly in his left arm, holding her up to his chest while he held the dead body in his right.
Who could believe this little girl was actually helping the feared Creeper rebuild his wall of art?!
