Luke was haunted. By all the phantoms of the terrible things he’d done in the past.

Every night, in his sleep, he would see the destruction of Akzeriuth, that poor child sinking into the miasma, still calling painfully for his parents.

Oh, Lorelei, he’d wake up every night and throw up. He felt sick with himself. He destroyed an entire city! He killed thousands of people! And yet, in the end, he was the one who survived.

He should have died with the city, it was written in the Score.

But… he wasn’t the Luke it was talking about, was he?
