Okay for those of you who read the other chapter 1 changed it a bit to this. Hope you like it. :)

Adriane, Kara, and Emily sat there, dazed as to how they got in the dungeon. It was cold, and dark. In some spots water leaked. It was brick and had a force field so the mages couldn’t use magic to escape.

Adriane, wearing her usual black, was sitting against the wall with minor injuries. She had a cut on her left cheek that was still bleeding from when she had first received it. Her left ankle was sprained. She had a cut on her left shoulder. She was half asleep with blurry vision.

Kara had her back against the wall just like Adriane. Kara’s eyes were burning with a sting that she had to keep them closed otherwise it would blind her. Even though she knew that closing her eyes didn’t help much.

Emily had major injuries, unlike Kara and Adriane. She lay on the ground unconscious. She had a huge bloody cut on her shoulder which was still bleeding. The cut was so deep you could almost see the bone. Another cut on her leg was almost as deep. Emily lay in pools of her own blood, tears, and blood.

Adriane decided instead of thinking of her injuries, she would think of what happened.

(4 weeks earlier)

Adriane sat on the porch of Ravenswood Manor watching the sunset. Emily walked up to her friend, wondering what Adriane was doing.

“What are you doing?”

“Adriane?”

Emily sighed and took a deep breath and…

“ADRIANE!!”

“OUCH! WTF” Adriane said.

“Well I wouldn’t have screamed if you just answered me in the first place now would I.” Emily said. Adriane cold tell something was wrong with the healer. Something bothering her, but Adriane didn’t pay much attention to it.

Adriane looked down. Suddenly she felt disappointed.
