Wishes

BPOV

We were all gathered in the Cullen’s living room, because Alice told us she needed to say something. As per usual, Edward had been playing his piano while I sat next to him, Emmett and Jasper had been playing video games, Rosalie and Alice discussing fashion, and Esme and Carlisle reading.

Alice began to talk. “We’re all going to say something we wish for, it can be anything, I’ll start!” she said gleefully. “I wish my hair were longer.”

“I wish I could feel the sun’s warmth,” Rosalie said softly.

“I wish Edward wasn’t a prude, and then maybe he would be more willing to joke,” Emmett spoke.

“I wish my baby had lived,” Esme whispered.

“I wish you all had control of your bloodlust like I do,” Carlisle said to us.

“I wish Edward would get rid of his sexual tension – before I implode,” Jasper remarked.

“I wish that Bella wasn’t a danger magnet, I want her safe,” Edward replied.

“I wish Edward would change me so we could have an eternity together,” I said last.

My family all laughed at my comment. They knew Edward was going to change me eventually.

Alice suddenly stayed still and laughed. “We’re going to have a great spring!”
