Sasuke wasn’t good with words. In fact, some might even say that he was incapable of socially interacting with his peers altogether. But one thing everyone agreed on was that once Uchiha Sasuke set his mind to doing something, he did it. Even if that something was convincing a certain loud, blonde ninja of his… affections.

“I don’t hate you, idiot.” Blunt was always the best approach.

“Right, you just beat the shit out of me cause you enjoy it!”

“…”

“Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke’s a sadist!”

Apparently blunt wasn’t blunt enough. Perhaps flattery would help soften him up.

“You know, orange is actually not as vomit-inducing a color as I previously thought. It… brings out the blue in your eyes.”

“…what the hell have you been smoking? And do you have any more?”

Surely bribery would work.

“So, I found all of these coupons for ramen in the courtya—“

“RAMEN!!”

“And if you’re hungr—“

“RAMEN RAMEN RAMEN!!”

There had to be a way to go about this without emptying his pockets… and his stomach.

“Oi, loser.”

“What, bastard?! Can’t you see I’m trying to train! Not all of us are geniuses like you, some of us actually have to work at it, and… and what the hell are you doing, get out of my face! H-Hey, don’t come any closer! Sasu—mmmph!!”

Ah, yes. There it was.

“Wh-What was tha—mmm. Mmm, oh. Oh, do that again…”

No, Uchiha Sasuke wasn’t good with words at all. But that was perfectly alright. Actions spoke that much louder, after all.
