Angels Or Demons

I hear the same call from my youth. They need me to help.

The Doctor is right; it’s my choice. I choose freedom.

Moving toward the archway, Rose follows. I know she thinks me stupid. She doesn’t understand. But I must.

Under the archway, I perceive them, floating in a bluish glow. “Come. Come to me. Come to me, poor lost souls,” I beckon.

And they come… by the thousands and covered in hellfire. I feel hatred, instead of compassion.

They’re not my lost angels, but the demons of my nightmares.
