The epilogue….dun dun dun!

Lol again thanks for reviewing and reading this story! It has encouraged me to write. I can say this experiment was a success (:

“Takeru! (1)” Yamato yelled, his voice echoing within the walls of the vast mansion, “Damn, Takeru! Where the hell are you?” The demon opened and slammed the doors repeatedly looking for the younger demon.

“What…” A demon walked out of a room, he rubbed his blue eyes from sleep although he was still drowsy. His head of blonde hair tousled and his clothes disarrayed, “Yamato-sama, what are you doing here.” He said in a drowsy voice.

“Takeru, I’m resigning from leadership, and leaving for good, you have to take my place.” Yamato confessed.

“Oh….that’s good…” The demon yawned.

Yamato marched toward him and slapped him across the face instantly waking him up, “Takeru pay attention, you are taking over the demons, and I’m leaving for good!”

“What? Why, thought you wanted to be the leader…” Takeru asked.

“I did, but I found something more important, so I decided to give up on that dream.” Yamato sighed.

“Really what is it?” Takeru curiously asked.

“None of your business!” Yamato yelled.

“Well it is if I’m taking your job!”

“So you’ll do it?”

“I never said that!” Takeru put his hands defensively.

Yamato sighed, “Please Takeru, this is important!”

“Really? Well it has to be, to make you give up your dream. All right I will take your job, just be careful, and if you ever need to come back don’t hesitate.” Takeru lectured.

“Yes mother,” Yamato joked, “I’m gonna go okay, thanks!” The wolf demon grew out his wings and flew out the room rushing to his destination.

“Heh, impatient as ever.” Takeru said and walked off to tell the council of the departing demon.

“Wow…” Taichi said, “Your replacement was better than mine!”

“Wanna bet? I hate that sarcastic bitch.” Yamato grumbled.

Deciding it would better for them, Taichi and Yamato were able to find a small cottage toward the west, conveniently on both the Forest, and the Kingdom. It was small, but just perfect for the two to live alone in harmony. They just moved in, and the two were together, Taichi sitting on Yamato’s lap, talking about the replacements they had to take care of their kingdoms.

“Yamato, you shouldn’t say that about people…” Taichi corrected knowing that it had no effect.

“Well he is! He seems like a nice little boy, but then he’ll eat you lunch, throw you out of the house in your boxers, and tipee you house!” Yamato dramatized, making the brunette chuckle.

“Well, maybe he is worse then my cousin…”Taichi managed to stop laughing.

“Really what’s he like.” Yamato asked.

“The kind that does underage drinking, makes a ridiculous promise, and then fails to keep that promise, tries to make it up but really just messes everything up, making me have to fix everything, then HE’LL get all the credit while I’m overshadowed.” Taichi huffed.

“And you let this person rule for what reason?” Yamato asked.

“He is the closest relative living with me.” Taichi smiled happily, “It was hard getting him to agree though….”

Flashback

“Daisuke (2), hey are you listening?” Taichi asked his cousin.

The younger boy was looking off into space; he had reddish spiky hair, tan skin like Taichi and the same dark eyes.

“Huh? What did you say?” Daisuke snapped out of his thoughts.

“I’m telling you something important you have to listen!” Taichi grabbed Daisuke’s arm and dragged him into his room, “No distractions here, kay Dai, you paying attention?”

“Yeah, what did you want to tell me?” Daisuke sat down on a chair and dangled his legs over it.

Taichi took a deep breath, “I need you to take the throne of my kingdom.”

“What throne?”

“My throne…”

“Where?”

“Near the forest!”

“Doesn’t ring a bell…”

“Daisuke!” Taichi yelled, “My home, remember with the demons, Otou-sama died!” Taichi saw Daisuke’s blank stare, “The one with the hot waitress.”

“OOOO!” Daisuke yelled, “I remember now! So why am I taking it over?”

“Because I can’t stay anymore…”

“Why!?” Daisuke smiled.

“I’m running away…and I need someone to cover for me.” Taichi whispered.

It took a couple of minutes before anyone made a move.

“YOU’RE RUNNING AWAY!?” Daisuke screamed, making Taichi cover his head in shame, “WHY!? WASN’T THAT HOT WAITRESS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!?”

“Daisuke calm down…” Taichi made his way to his cousin.

“NO! YOU COME HERE AFTER MONTHS OF NOT VISITING! AND YOU TELL ME THAT YOU ARE LEAVING FOR GOOD AND YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN!!” Daisuke screamed.

“Yes because if anyone finds out, I’m will kill you!” Taichi threatened.

“How?” Daisuke asked.

“I’ll….cut something off.”

“NO! No my beautiful body! Okay! I’ll take over the throne.”

“And not tell anyone?” Taichi confirmed.

“No, you are leaving with some stranger; I can’t let you go…” Daisuke said.

“He’s not a bad person!” Taichi defended.

“Let me be the judge of that,” Daisuke crossed my arms, “Let me meet her!”

“No, you’re younger than me, why should you try to control me?” Taichi defied.

“Well, I want to make sure that you are making the right decision!” Daisuke responded.

“No, you know that I’ll be fine, please Daisuke I don’t have much time, just promise me that you will hold everyone off for as long as you can.” Taichi pleaded.

Daisuke sighed but nodded, “Fine I’ll cover for you, but you better make sure you are okay!”
“Of course,” Taichi waved good bye and ran off…

End flashback.

“That wasn’t so bad!” Yamato said.

“He wanted to meet you! You realize that we wouldn’t be here right now if he did found out you were a demon!” Taichi dramatized.

“Well, he didn’t so we are fine.” Yamato brought Taichi for a small kiss.

“Heh, yeah…now what do we do, its night all ready.” Taichi pointed out.

Yamato grew an evil glint in his eyes, and brought Taichi closer to him, and put his hand under Taichi’s shirt, making the human shiver in delight, “What am I not going to do with you.” They both closed in for a passionate kiss, holding each other in a loving embrace. They knew that no matter what, nothing will ever come between them again.

Forest

Takeru has been able to become a good leader, he managed to dismiss the idea of hunting down the pure bloods, and it actually benefited the demons! By getting rid of the competition, the demons had no reason to fight over each other, making it more peaceful than before.

“If that is all, we shall end this meeting.” Takeru said at the end of the meeting.

All of the demons remained silent and he ended the meeting. The demons began to walk out of building a soft murmur enveloped d the place. Takeru was the last one out walk out of the place seeing as he cleaned everything out. As he walked out the back door, he saw Sora Takenouchi, leaning against the wall.

“You?” Takeru asked, “You haven’t been here for a while, what do you want?”

“To see if the rumors are true, and they are.” Sora sighed.

“Yeah, Yamato is gone for good, and I’m in charge, leave before I have to kill ya.”

Takeru threatened.

Sora sighed, (this guy is really different from Yama-cha…I mean Yamato…) “Hai, I’m going.” Sora turned and left, (Yamato is probably better off with Taichi after all…)

Human Kingdom

“Lord Daisuke please sign this”

“Your majesty, we need food!”
“I want land!”
“I want a license!”
“I WANT YOU!”

“OMG I DO TOO!”
“I’LL FIGHT YOU FOR HIM!”

“LET’S GO!”

“Please everyone calm down.” A girl with short brown hair said, “Daisuke is a bit busy right now, he’ll get to you shortly.” A girl dispersed the group of townsfolk from the castle wall making Daisuke come out of hiding.

“Are they gone Hikari?” Daisuke asked.

“Yeah, you shouldn’t procrastinate when you are king.” The girl lectured.

“But it’s boring!! I don’t want to do this stuff!” Daisuke childish yelled.

“Didn’t you promise Taichi-san that you would do this, do you want to disappoint him?” Hikari questioned.

“No,” Daisuke grumbled.

The girl smiled and let one guy from outside in, “Good, now we’ll finish these problems one at a time.”

Daisuke growled but led the villager to a room to discuss his problem anyway. Hikari giggled silently (Taichi-san, thank you for not choosing me!) And she went off to follow them…

Yamato and Taichi

“Ah…ah…AHCHOO!” Taichi sneezed.

“Bless you. Wow, you sneeze loud! (3)” Yamato responded.

“Someone must be thinking about me then….” Taichi said.

“Again with superstition?” Yamato rolled his eyes, “You know those are fake.”

“Well no harm in believing in a few of them!” Taichi responded.

Yamato sighed, “Your weird.”
“Not as weird as you!” Taichi yelled at Yamato.

“Stupid.”

“Fat!”
“Mental.”

“UGLY!” Taichi screamed.

Yamato faked gasp, “Are you calling me, the sexiest man alive ugly!?”

“Drama queen. There has to be someone sexier than you ya know.” Taichi mumbled.

“Well then, why haven’t I seen him?” Yamato asked.

“The world is a big place! He’ll probably show up some time in our lives.”

“Hey if we do see this guy, you won’t leave me for him will you?”

Taichi was silent thinking quietly…

“Taichi! This is the part where you say ‘Of course not Yamato, I’ll never leave you’!”

Yamato mimicked Taichi’s voice.

“Well, he must be pretty hot, to top you….who knows if I would stay with you or not!”

Taichi joked.

“WHAT!” Yamato has a shocked looked on his face, “You don’t really mean that do you?”

“Of course not. Yama, you need to learn when people are joking!” Taichi giggled at his lover’s over protectiveness.

“I don’t see what’s funny, but I do agree with you…I can’t handle myself when you are involved.”

“In what sense, anger or horny?”

“I’m serious!” Yamato half-yelled, “the second one mostly.”

“Of course you would say that…” Taichi mumbled, “Well it doesn’t matter, you know I wouldn’t leave you.”

“I wouldn’t leave you either.” Yamato brought Taichi into a warm hug.

“You wouldn’t because I would find you, kick your ass, and then steal you away.” Taichi hugged back.

“Your so sweet?” Yamato asked laughing a little. He leans over and kisses Taichi.

“What was that for?” Taichi blushed.

“Nothing.” Yamato smiled, “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Taichi snuggled in Yamato’s chest.

“This is really happening isn’t it? We are going to be like this forever…” Yamato murmured.

“Yeah, together forever.” Taichi sighed.

The two lovers kissed again, Yamato pulling a blanket over them and they both fell asleep in each others arms.

Such a strange couple they are, Yamato Ishida the fierce wolf demon known for no self-control, and Taichi Yagami the human prince of the weakest kingdom on the human’s side, who likes to read rather than fight.

But even if they are total opposites and species…it’s obvious that they are made for each other. Love works in mysterious ways, and this time it captured the heart of these two, they ran from the world and nothing will ever be able to break them apart.

The moral to this story is that curiosity killed the cat…OR
Curiosity will make you find a hot guy, make you madly in love in a secret relationship, go through hours of cliché drama and in the end having a peaceful life with your soul mate. Pick whichever one you like best.

Whoo! This was fun, thanks to all you guys who reviewed it pushed me to write more! I realized that this story does have a lot of mistakes, but for my first one I can say I did pretty good.

But the next one will be better! Thank you again! XD
