New story. Please review!

Adriane sat in the glade, not really caring about anything but the view of the beautiful stars. Dreamer next to her gazing up. She had been gazing up for hours looking at every single star there was. She was in awe at how many stars there were, nothing could ruin this night. Except the beast that was lurking in the woods behind them. The beast was completely black except the eyes which were yellow. Every time it moved it was swift and left a trail of shadow black that quickly disappeared. Adriane sat unknowingly there gazing up while the beast got ready to attack. It pounced at Dreamer who was knocked down, but quickly recovered. Adriane shot around to see the black beast. It stood as tall, if not taller, than the tallest trees themselves. Adriane stared in awe at the beast that towered above them.

Adriane tried to attack, but nothing worked. She was knocked down again for the fifth time. She was almost drained and she was bleeding on her shoulder and her leg. Her hands were burnt and she was breathing heavily. The giant beast lifted up its foot when about to crush her when she heard a thud and crack. She looked up to see a person wearing a black robe and held a giant beautiful black key that stopped the beats foot.

Okay that’s the chapter. Very sorry it’s short but I had a mental block, right at the good part to sorry. Please review and tell me how it is.
