A/N: This is a drabble. A little over hundred word drabble. Sort of a 'Mrs. Lovett's last thoughts before she gets pushed into the oven' thing. I've always loved the unrequited love that goes on between her and Mr. Todd.

Love. It was the emotion that led her to letting Benjamin Barker- no. His name was Todd now. It was the emotion that led her to allowing Sweeny Todd stay on her property. It was the emotion that formed their partnership, even though she always wanted more than that. It was what she felt all along for the insane barber, even when he was married. It was the emotion that would soon destroy her. As he waltzed her toward the oven, she knew it was over. She looked into his eyes, hoping to see some sort of regret. Some sort of estranged love for her. There was no love there.

Only revenge.
