Chapter 1 sadness through the ages

Naruto Uzumaki, once jailer of the nine-tailed fox demon, known to all as kyubi, king of foxes and the strongest demon ever to live in the human realm, merged with its container, changing the twenty-one year olds appearance, even changing his human DNA to a demons.

Unable to face his friends, he hid deep within the forest of death, only going back to steal food and his own things, such as scrolls, clothing and anything else his arms could carry, until nothing was left in his small apartment, making everyone think he had run away from his village, marking him as a missing-nin, if only they looked within there own forests, they would have found him, living deep underground in a overly large cave, the only clue that it was a human living within the darkness was a small fire.

So as Naruto hid, time past, days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months and months turned to years, he watched his home grow, until one day something terrible happened, the container of the eight tailed snake came into Konoha' and preformed a forbidden demon ritual of sealing, imprisoning everyone inside a barrier so they couldn't escape, he planed to seal Kyubi away for eternity and steal its power, not knowing he wasn't in the village , the ritual failed, it searched everywhere inside the barrier for the demon it was supposed to imprison, not able to find one it sealed the only demon it could find, the man who wanted to use it for his own gain, sealing the container as well as its demon, the eight tailed demon snake, known to all as Hachibi no Hachimata was no more.

But that’s not what hurt Naruto the most, because Hachibi no Hachimata was only an eight tailed demon, the seal was meant for a nine tailed, so for exchange, it took every human alive within the barrier, killing everyone he loved, but instead of disappearing, the amount of power the seal imprisoned was to great, the demon ritual was no longer a seal, it came...alive from the amount of power it gained from the snake, the chakra and blood limits it absorbed, gave birth to the gate.

So now the village was completely empty, turns out, the other villages had the same problem, the gate hungered for more power, taking everyone who had blood limits and who had the ability to use chakra, until its hunger for power was fulfilled and for some strange reason, the people who were left to live were suddenly filled with knowledge and preformed strange things, they called them alchemy, they stopped using chakra for this new power until chakra was completely forgotten.

Everything began changing, Naruto’s home was now called Yock Island, its once large lands grew smaller as water began to cover and surround it, from that point on, Naruto was truly alone, for how many years he did not know, all he could do was swim to the runes of Konoha, taking whatever he deemed useful to him, just like he had done years ago. So he slept, slept until something would happen on his island.

One day something did happen, a women with brown hair stepped onto his island, carrying a small bundle which he presumed was a baby, he hadn't seen a child for so long, he quickly left his den, hiding in the shadows as he watched the women with her baby, smiling Naruto smelt the air to find which gender the baby was, only to wince when the smell of death met his nose, the baby...boy was dead.

He felt so sad, the child didn't even get a chance at life, he could tell by it's size, it would be an honour that his island would be the dead boys resting place.

But...the women was drawing something on the ground...was this alchemy?.

He watched curiously, stepping out of the shadows slightly to get a better view, she seemed full of hope when she was done with her drawing, Naruto could smell the happiness and hope in the air...suddenly it suddenly began to rain.

'Something bad is going to happen' Naruto thought as the women clapped her hands, his eyes widening with shock then narrowing in anger when a familiar...creature appeared before them, 'so...the gate created Alchemy...why?, what’s the point?', black hands reached out and grabbed the child, a purple glow began to be absorbed by its dead body, 'toughs hands look just like Shikamaru's Shadow Imitation Technique', a bright light surrounded them, forcing Naruto to close his eyes, when he opened them, the gate was gone, the baby laying on the drawing...it began to move.

'something’s...not right' he thought, the women gasped in happiness...that was until the small bit of cloth which hid the babies face fell, showing a deformed creature.

'It's still a baby...she's got her wish, having someone you love back', he smiled slightly, a strange warmth filled him as she held her baby close 'probably to shield him from the rain', he closed his eyes, sighing happily when a cry startled him, the gate was back and she...she was giving him back, giving him away, imprisoning him!

'th-that bitch!', he growled, the gates eyes stared at him before it closed itself, the baby gone...

The women cried on her knee’s before she began to cough up blood, Naruto’s eyes remained cold 'she deserves it', he watched as she slowly walked away, to a small boat.

'so...humans haven’t changed...there all still cold hearted', she was almost out of site now, smelling the air Naruto grinned, ‘the child…still alive’, smiling he turned away, heading back to his den, unknown to him, a pair of purple eyes saw him behind it’s…mother before it was imprisoned, uttering one word before the darkness took him ‘fa-father’
