AN: I know I should update TGM or TDJ and TIML, but this fic came to my head and I just had to write it. Italics are their thought and bold italics are the lyrics to the song.

Summary: Sarah watches the one she loves confess to another and knows that her chance with him is forever gone.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes round the moon
I see the passion in your eyes
Sometimes it's all a big surprise

“There’s someone I want to tell them how I feel.”

Sarah glanced at him and watched the night air blow his black hair as his midnight blue eyes stared at the grass filled with an emotion she could not identify. “But I’m afraid of what she’ll say.” He said chuckling.

Sarah glanced up and saw a shooting star. “How many times I wished that you would love me, but if this person makes you happy then I will let you go.” Sarah closed her eyes. “I wish for you to find your love.”

“You should tell her Frieze.” Sarah whispered.

Frieze looked at her surprised. Sarah gulped as she felt his piercing gaze. “Why?” he asked.

Cause there was a time when all I did was wish
You'd tell me this was love
It's not the way I hoped or how I planned
But somehow it's enough

“You should tell her before anyone takes her.”

Frieze nodded. “You’re right, I will tell her tomorrow.”

Sarah clenched her fists and stayed quietly.

Frieze looked at his watch. “It’s late, you should go inside. I’m heading home.”

Sarah nodded and glanced at him. She watched as he leaned toward her and felt his lips press on her forehead. She closed her eyes briefly savoring the feeling. Sarah opened her eyes when he pulled back. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Yeah, good night Sarah.”

“Good night Frieze.”

Frieze got up and walked away.

That night would be the last night she would be able to spend with him because those nights would be rare for them without him being busy with his new girlfriend.

The next day Sarah watched as Frieze confessed his feelings to another girl that wasn’t her. She clenched her fists when the girl wrapped her arms around Frieze and nodded. Frieze wrapped his arms around her and she felt her heart slowly breaking.

Sarah looked away not wanting to see them kissing. She quickly walked out of the classroom before anyone could notice. Throughout the rest of the day she avoided meeting with Frieze. She was heading toward her creative writing class when Flayme stopped her.

“Frieze is looking for you.” He said.

“I’m busy.” Sarah saw his sympathetic look, but she didn’t want his sympathy.

“Sarah you can’t avoid him forever.”

Sarah shook her head. “It’s not forever, it’s just for now.” She said as tears gathered in her eyes. She clenched her fists and bit her bottom lip to keep the tears from coming out.

“It’s okay.” Flayme whispered before wrapping his arms around her. Her shoulders shook with her quiet sobs. “What do you think you’re doing Frieze?”

3 weeks later

Sarah watched as Frieze slowly slipped from her or most likely she was forcing him away. Every time he called her she would ignore him and act like nothing happened.

“Sarah when are you going to forgive him?” Flayme asked after school.

Sarah continued walking like nothing happened. “You know that he broke up with Julia.” Flayme said behind her.

Sarah stopped dead in her tracks and turned around. “What? Why?” she asked surprised.

“He said something about her not being the one. That she didn’t make him feel like someone he knew did. He said that he was going after the person he left behind.”

Sarah looked at him confused and Flayme shook his head. “I didn’t get him either. I guess we will just have to sit and wait until his next move.”

Sarah turned around not seeing the smirk that Flayme had.

Sarah sighed as she heard the rain outside. “This sucks,” she said. She had planned to go outside later that night. Sarah walked to her window seeing the dark grey clouds in the sky. “Just great.” Before she knew he was standing on the other side of the window. Sarah would have screamed if she didn’t recognize the black hair and midnight blue eyes that seemed to be glaring at her. “Frieze.”

Frieze continued to glare. “Yeah, who else would try to sneak into your room by using your window.” He said crossing his arms over his chest. “You going to let me in?”

Sarah quickly unlocked the window remembering that it was raining outside and he was soaked wet. “You could have called.” Sarah said as she moved out the way and went to grab a towel.

Frieze quickly stepped inside the closed the window. “It’s not like you were going to answer.” He said rubbing his arms to keep warm. “If I recall you're ignoring at the moment.”

Sarah felt bad as she handed him the towel. “I’m sorry, I have been acting selfish.”

Frieze who was drying his hair stopped for a moment and look at her. “If you’ve been selfish, then I have been acting like a royal jerk putting Julia in front of you. You don’t need to apologize. I’m the one who needs to. I’m sorry.”

But now we're standing face-to-face
Isn't this world a crazy place
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last

Sarah met his gaze and felt her heart speed up. She felt her eyes water as different emotions assaulted her senses. She felt happy for him being there and sad because he had left her and relieved that he was back to her. ‘’I heard you and Julia broke up,” she said blinking back her tears.

Frieze sighed. “Yeah, we did.”

“I thought you guys had a connection.” Sarah said feeling a deep sorrow at saying those words.

Frieze looked at the floor.

All of the nights you came to me
When some silly girl had set you free
I wondered how you'd make it through
I wondered what was wrong with you

“What changed your mind?”

“I didn’t feel the connection like I did with this other person.” Frieze said looking at anywhere but her.

Sarah looked at him confused and he chuckled.

Cause how could you give your love to someone else
And share your dreams with me
Sometimes the very thing you're looking for
Is the one thing you can't see

“The funny thing was that I didn’t see it until I lost her or I chose to ignore it because I was afraid of rejection.”

Sarah looked at him curiously. “Who is this person?”

Frieze shook his head. “You really don’t know?”

Sarah shook her head. Frieze laughed. “Well, let me see. For the longest I tried to tell her or I have implied it, but she never noticed. So I buried it because she would not react and I decided to go out with someone else, but in the end it pained me and I think I hurt her because she chose to ignore me.” Frieze said, and then leaned against the wall. “Her absence hurt me even more, so at the moment I decided I rather have her in my life even though she may not return my feelings, than to not have her at all and wonder what ifs.” Frieze took a step toward her. “Flayme said actions speak louder than words, so I’m here to see if that theory works.”

Frieze began to walk toward her with every step he took Sarah felt her heart beat faster.

“What are you doing?” she asked when he stopped in front of her.

Frieze put his hands lightly on waist and pulled her near before he pressed his lips to hers.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes round the moon
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last

It was just a simple kiss, but to Sarah it meant the world.

Frieze pulled back and pressed his forehead to hers. “I love you…I’ve always have and I want to be with you, if you’d let me?”

Sarah pulled back and for a moment she saw a painful expression before she smirked. “Of course I’d let you. I’ve just been waiting for you to ask.” She said before pressing her lips to his. Frieze gladly welcomed the kiss and pulled her near, but their moment was ruined by the sound of a cell phone ringing.

Frieze looked around for the evil cell that had ruined their moment. He looked at Sarah who was giving him a sheepish smile and pulling out her cell phone from her pocket before answering it. “Hey, Flayme.”

Sarah heard Frieze mumble something about killing his twin. “Yeah, he’s here. No we are not fighting and no I’m not lying. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him.” Sarah watch as Frieze crossed his arms over his chest annoyed. “He’s getting angry, I better hang up…I’m not telling you because it’s private. I’m not saying anything! Flayme I’m going to –“ but she was cut off by Frieze grabbing her cell.

“Flayme, we’ll talk when I get home, until then bug off.” Frieze said before slamming the phone shut. He looked up to see Sarah glaring at him. “What?”

"Why would you take my cell phone?” she asked angrily.

“If I didn’t then Flayme would keep bothering and you’d never hang up because you hate hanging up on people.”

“That is so not true!”

“Yes it is.”

“Give me an example.”

“Okay. When those operators call.”

“I do hang up.”

“After you hear the whole message.”

Sarah glared at him and Frieze sighed. “Can we drop this?” he asked.

“I don’t know, will you?”

Frieze growled. “I’m going home, I’ll talk to you later.” Frieze said walking to the window and opening it. He climbed out.

“Frieze.” Sarah called after him.

Frieze turned around before he could react he felt Sarah lips pressed onto his own when he was about kiss back Sarah pulled away and slammed the window closed.

Frieze looked at the window surprised. “What was that all about?” he asked outraged that she dared to tease him after an argument.

Sarah opened the window and smirked. “I wanted to do it one last time because this would be our last time we kiss for three weeks."

“Why?!”

“Because you went out with Julia for that long, so that’s your punishment.” She said before slamming the window closed one last time.

Frieze sighed before looking that the night sky to see it had stopped raining. He glanced at his watch it read ten o’clock pm. The stormy clouds were clearing from the sky and there were faint traces of stars appearing in the sky. Frieze grabbed on to the drainpipe and slid down. As he walked on the sidewalk he felt the cool air hit him and he shivered. He rubbed his arms for warmth and looked at the sky and like magic he saw a shooting star. He looked his eyes and took a deep breath. “My only wish is to stay by her side until she has no need me and wants nothing to do with me, until then please let me stay by her side.”

Frieze opened his eyes and glanced at back at Sarah's window to see her staring at him. He smirked and waved. “I love you.” He watched as she waved back and turned around to run back to his house, which was twelve blocks away. As ran he felt the cool air hit him but didn’t mind just thinking of Sarah brought a warm feeling to hm. He couldn’t wait to see her the next day.
