Summary: She was a puppet whose sole purpose was to love him and nothing else. Yet Sasori wonders why a puppet was more human than any puppet. Is it because his precious creation was something else?

Chapter 1

In a dark room, a silky white cocoon lay in the corner of the room. Its aerie glow lightens the room, chasing away the darkness. A man sits against the side of the wall before the cocoon, watching it intently. His red crimson hair contrast against his pale skin and chocolate eyes; Sasori of Akatsuki has been holed up in his room for the last four months.

His perfect and only successful creation lay in the corner. ‘It’s almost ready’ Sasori thought silently as anticipation rose within of his results. In the corner of the room, the cocoons slightly twitch signaling life within it.

The cocoon glows more brightly and shrinks, forming a petite figure of a girl. Sasori watch as the glow lighten, revealing slender arms and legs, flat stomach and well-define face with small yet adorable nose and full lips. A girl lay sitting in the corner with her raven black hair to her ankles covering her nakedness and her eyes closed. When her big eyes opened, it revealed sapphire eyes with silver streaks making it shine slightly.

Sasori waited for any motion made from the puppet. Nothing as minutes passes which seemed like hours to him. Happiness that he hasn’t felt for such long time rose when the puppet looks at him and smiled a beautiful smile only for him.

“Sasori-sama” the puppet whisper as her voice rang softly like silver bells. She walked towards her master, her creator and gently embraces him; her fingers playing with his red crimson hair. “My dear master. Ai shiteru always and forever.” She murmured.

Sasori slowly allow his mind to be wallowed into his puppet’s embrace, as a small smile could be seen in the corner of his lips. His darkness lighten when he heard what his puppet’s said. He slowly loses himself to the dark hearing one last thing from his dear puppet.

“My name is Kagome, dear master.”
