Summary: Two years after the events of the HiME Carnival, Kuga Natsuki, while on a trip to Kyoto with Fujino Shizuru, reflects back on the girl she first met compared to the woman she knows now.

Preface:

Well, this started out as a simple thought that came to me one night. That thought quickly turned into a short ramble, and that ramble is now trying to take on it’s own life as an actual story of sorts. Like I tend to state with my other written work, I don’t guarantee how long it’ll be, or if it’ll ever be finished, but right now it needs to take on some kind of physical (digital?) manifestation, so here it is.
