1. Her father was always her favourite one out of her parents, when he died when she was just eleven years old of consumption she cried her heart out, she was a Daddy's girl.

2. She was the youngest of her five other siblings, who were all brothers, her favourite had to be her second oldest brother Henry, he was the one who defended her when their others siblings picked on her.

3. She cried when Henry gets shot by accident when he was caught pickpocketing, he had done it for a good cause, to provide for their family.

4. She never did want to be a prostitute yet her mother forced her into being one so she could provide for her family, Bet cried for a month as she went to sleep, she felt so used and dirty.

5. When she finds out she is pregnant from one of her customers at the age of sixteen she runs away, where she then meets Fagin who feeds her and house's her.

6. She bonds with those boys Fagin looks after as they pickpocket for him, she meets Nancy and soon after she becomes the sister she never had.

7. She falls in love with one of the pickpockets named Liam, he was always kind to her.

8. Liam loves her back even if she was large from pregnancy but soon after he gets taken to prison for life when he is caught pickpocketing an elderly mans gold pocket watch.

9. She has her baby, she has few people surrounding her as she gives birth, them being Liam's younger brother, Fagin and Nancy, she names her son Charley.

10. Bet gives her son to Fagin to look after, she knows that way he won't be ashamed that his mother is a prostitute and will hopes he will lead a happy life, she tells Fagin to never tell Charley who his mother is and that his mother and father are both dead.
