Xandi sighed as she allowed herself to be led up the flight of stairs; she had no clue where this person (whom she suspected to be Jesse judging by the over-whelming smell of lavender) was taking her.

Sometimes she hated being blind.

It definitely made life harder at times, like now. She had no clue who was leading her up these stairs al she had was an assumption on scent.

The blind teen quickly realized that the stairs has given way to solid ground and that she was standing still. The stinging smell of salt blasted her senses along with the sound of squawking seagulls and crashing ocean waves.

She was on the roof!

“Jesse?” she hesitantly asked, not sure if it was The Northern Champion turned exchange student or his boyfriend Jaden, their scents were sooo similar now-a-days.

“Yea Xandi” It was Jesse, Xandi sighed again, it had been two days since the ‘incident’ as she called it. Two days of avoiding Jesse had just coming crashing down around her with a BANG!!!

“Um Xandi” the Japanese Egyptian teen jumped as she felt Jesse lay a hand on her shoulder “Did you tell Jim?”

“No” she replied simply

Of course she hadn’t told Jim, he may appear calm and collected but she knew he could get angry especially if it concerned her. Plus she still counted Jesse as a friend and she didn’t think that being turned inside out and having his eyes and tongue ripped out would be a good look for The Northern Champion...even if she was blind.

“Xandi, I’m really sorry. I didn’t meant to well ya know kiss you but I couldn’t help myself I just –and you were- and I...I’m not making a lot of sense am I?”

“Not really but it doesn’t matter Jesse, I know you didn’t mean anything by it” Xandi winced at the tone of her voice, she’d sounded disappointed.

But with that she left, leaving a very confused and stupefied Jesse Anderson behind.
