Author’s Notes: This was a horror to write – to keep it at a hundred words, that is. I either kept exceeding, or getting cut off at 97 words or something as ludicrous as that. The good news is, I managed to make it flow and make sense. Well, it makes sense to me anyway. I may revise this. But I enjoyed writing it, to be honest. It’s basically what goes on in Evey’s head after V sadly passes away.

My inspiration for this? Heaven Help Us by My Chemical Romance – a brilliant song that I recommend to anybody.

I do not own V for Vendetta or its characters. It is very sad, but it’s true.

Who was V? I have asked myself this question, particularly during our first meeting, when he blew up Parliament and Big Ben. I questioned his reasons, who he was, his place in society… an endless amount of questions flooded head. I never got my answers. I might have had if time had allowed us to explore one another’s personal lives before taking him in death. So why did I take V’s place? Why would I fight for his cause when I do not even know his true intentions? My answer would be for freedom. For the revolution of the world.
