…………Alex…………

The sound of rain smashing against the window woke Alex the next morning. He yawned and opened his eyes to see Li‘s face 2 inches from his own.

“Ah!” he yelped and leaped backwards (as much as you can in a sleeping bag) right into Paulo.

By now everyone was awake, Li looked as shocked as Alex.

“Oopes” she winced “I must have fallen off the seat”

“And the lesson learnt is no sleeping in the living room” Said a disgruntled Paulo once Alex had moved off him, looking apologetic.

“I’m hungry” stated Alex bluntly.

“Right, I’ll make breakfast” said Li “I’ll call you when its ready.”

…………TIMEWARP…………

“GUYS! Its ready” Shouted Li

Alex ran into the kitchen closely followed by Hex, amber and Paulo, who was still yawning.

On the plates lay beans, bacon, toast and….

“Erm…. No offence Li but what the hell is that?” Said a wide eyed Hex.

Li blushed “Well, its meant to be scrambled eggs, but, they sort of turned red…”

Alex coughed “How on earth did you make RED scrambled eggs?”

“Spontaneous combustion?” She muttered “Anyway it does still taste like eggs you know!”

Amber groaned “Guys stop arguing we have to get to the airport in 3 hours!”

…………TIMEWARP THE SECOND…………

Paulo was sitting on the plane in-between Li and Hex on the plane. From Li’s side he could hear 3 doors down blasting from her I pod and Harry Potter puppet pals (disclaimer Harry potter JK Rowlings) from Hex’s side.

After they had eaten everyone showered and packed their stuff, then after the slight delay of Hex losing his palmtop then realising it was in his pocket, they had gotten into the black rangerover and driven to the airport only to figure out the plane was delayed for 3 hours.. Joy.

After spotting a nice restaurant, which to Hex’s delight was beside an internet café, they all sat down and had some lunch.

It was a boring cramped day, but it worried Paulo that Li hadn’t complained once, like she usually did when there was a lack of excitement. She was also less talkative, now she was sleeping with her head on Paulo’s shoulder, music still playing from her I pod.

…………Amber…………

Amber was annoyed at Hex, he was being so anti-social, only chuckling the odd time at his palmtop.

She poked him in the side.

“Ah! What was that for?” He groaned “What did I do now?”

She grinned “Nothing, I’m just bored.” She poked him again.

Hex smirked and launched a tickled attack.

“Ahhhh!” Amber shrieked and fought against his unmerciful tickling

“Excuse me Sir, Madame, I must ask that you refrain from disturbing the other passengers” Said a snooty air hostess

Paulo snorted behind his hand as she walked off.

The seatbelt sign flashed and the pilot informed them they were landing in five minutes.

Paulo strapped himself in and turned to Li, who was still sleeping. He shook her lightly

“Li”

She raised her head and looked at him sleepily, then pulled her earphones out.

“Ahhh, I wondered why I couldn’t hear you”

He laughed “We are landing now”

Five minutes later the plan skidded to a halt along the runway.

A/N: Sorry for the short, completely pointless chapter, it was really boring to write.

Yeah, I based the red scrambled eggs on yesterdays lunch, I’m not that good a cook, but don’t ask me how eggs and pepper makes red :S

I would have written more but I’ve barely had any time for anything. I have a judo competition and my instructors making me spend every minute in practise lmao.

Its Easter holidays now so I’ll have more time to write next week.
