Title: Stereotype High.
Summery: Welcome to Stereotype High. People will judge you on where you sit and who you sit with. So pick carefully, it will affect the rest of your life.
Notes: I’m back and I have fun pairings! (Fun for me to write, because hay they aren’t all cannon for once! And also some don’t make sense, but I’m trying em out for size). Also I know Linkin Park mightn’t be a very gothic band, but it doesn’t mean Goths can’t like them. Ps. Sorry for jumping around so much.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Naruto. I don’t own Doctor Who. And I don’t own or like Pussy Cat Dolls (one small reference)

Friday after school, Cheerleader training 3:30pm
Tenten and Karin walked from the gym and sat down on the grass, waiting for the football team to finish their game so the cheer leaders could practice.
“Look at them go, some of them are in fiiine shape!” Karin grinned looking at the boys and watching as they ran around the field, throwing the ball to each other and kicking.
“Yeah…I guess…” Tenten sighed; she was slightly distracted and had been lately since she found out that Shino surfed and also that he was into techno music like her. She kept saying she shouldn’t like him because she hardly knew him.
“Hun? You kay Tennie? You’ve been spacing out lately, anything you wanna talk about? Any boys?” Karin pestered and grinned as her friend turned pink at the mention of boys.
“Ah ha! Now I’m getting somewhere; so this boy, how did you meet him?” She said then settled back on her arms looking up at the clouds.
“He goes to the same surf club as me…” Tenten finally muttered out, not wanting to give too much away at one time.
“Very nice. Have you spoken to him about anything?” Karin asked still looking up, Tenten sighed before answering.
“Yes; music, cause he found my Ipod and looked through to see if he could find any pictures of whose it might be…But anyway. Yeah.” Tenten scolded herself for letting that out.
“Ooh, and do you have the same taste in it? Or was he utterly repulsed by all your techno jaga?”
“Haha. No he likes the same stuffish, he’s more into trance; but he gave me some good DJ’s to listen to.”
“This sounds good! Do you know what school he goes to?” Karin grinned sitting up, she was excited now.
“…uh…ours…” Tenten said looking down at her feet; Karin’s expression turned from happy excited to surprised.
“Seriously? What’s his name? I might know him as well! And then I can try and hook you two up and…Well what’s his name?” She asked again, excited once more.
“…Shino, it’s Shino from our class.” Tenten said softly, waiting for Karin to start laughing at her for liking at ‘nerd’, but she was surprised when none came.
“Shino? Like, the quite guy with the bug fascination?”
“Yeah…that one.”
“Well I won’t say anything ‘cause you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.” Karin shrugged then started asking about what they would do on a date.
Tenten had known Karin since year seven so they knew almost everything about each other, but Tenten knew Karin could sometimes be a judge about people; how they dressed and what they were like in class and what sort of activities they did.
“Thanks. But for now all I really know about him is that he’s smart, got really pretty eyes, likes bugs, can surf and has wicked taste in music.”
“So says you. I think both of your tastes in music could do with some other stuff but y’know whatever turns you on.” Karin joked and turned back to the oval and saw all the boys heading their way.
“Finally! I thought they would never finish, it’s always so saddening watching them play and not being able to join in.” Tenten sighed and waved at a couple of the boys as they passed them. Lee grinned and ran over to them.
“Hello ladies. Did you enjoy our youthful training session?” He asked, his teeth looking extremely white because he was covered in dirt.
“Not really. We weren’t allowed to join in.” Karin complained and stood up as she spied the cheerleading coach arrive. Tenten joined her and was about to say goodbye to Lee when he suddenly grabbed her hand.
“Tenten may I please ask you a question of some importance?” He spoke as though it were his dieing wish.
“Uh sure…You go, I’ll be there in a minute Karin.” Tenten urged her friend to leave, not sure if she or Lee wanted her to hear what would come next.
“Uhh Tenten, I have known you for a number of youthful years now. And I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to a movie tonight.” He said boldly, trying not to blush. Tenten’s eyes widened and then a sympathetic smile adorned her face.
“Lee, you have been one of the best friends I’ve ever and will ever had. But I don’t like you like that. I’m sorry.” She said softly looking him in the eye and gripping his hand, patting it softly, but it made no difference as it flopped down to his side.
“Well Tenten, I am sorry to have disrupted your evening practice.” He said sadly before trudging off to the change rooms. Tenten watched helplessly as he walked away. She had wanted to say yes but it would have broken him when she said she would go with him as a friend. At least this way he understand straight to the point.
She frowned and walked slowly over to the rest of the cheer team who were doing warm up stretches. Karin shot her a questioning glace and Tenten shrugged, mouthing she would tell her later. Karin nodded before turning to the coach who had ordered them to run around the oval.

3pm, five hours before Linkin Park concert
“In fiveish hours we will be at the concert! And even better, we’re gonna be in the mosh pit!” Temari grinned happily as she and Gaara walked home together. Kankuro had soccer practice which didn’t finish until five o’clock. Temari seemed happier then normal and was all but skipping down the sidewalk.
“So you seem very happy. Are you excited that you and Itachi might be going out?” He asked bluntly causing Temari to stop, blush and wring her hands around while smiling.
“Yeah…that could be why as well…” She sighed happily walking by Gaara again at a normal pace. Gaara simply raised his foundation covered eyebrows but smiled lightly at his happy sister.
“Just remember if he hurts you Kiba, Kankuro, Hinata and I can beat him up for you.” Temari laughed and hugged her younger brother before grabbing his hand and making him skip with her the rest of the way home.
--
“Wowee; darling you look fiiine.” Was Hinata’s remark on seeing Temari as she walked into the front room, Neji trailing slightly behind her. The older girl had transformed from ordinarily slightly Gothy to full on Goth.
“You don’t look to bad yourself! Where do you get your clothes from?” Temari asked as they walked to the kitchen where Gaara and Kiba were talking about their deviant art accounts and how people seemed to not like the Goth culture but were attracted to pictures of them.
“Oh I’ll take you there one day. Great place in the city, hard to find if you don’t know about it though.” Hinata grinned while raiding their fridge, Neji sat down in one of the chairs and listened into what everyone was talking about. The door bell rang and Temari ran to answer it again.
“Yo hey Hina! You look good.” Kiba commented before turning back to Gaara. “Yeah; so some chick was saying how great Hinata looked in one of the pictures, but she would never think of even doing anything like that. Some people are weird y’know. Though must say it boosts your self esteem when you get comments saying how beautiful you all look or how amazing and all that.”
“Yeah; though I must contend that though people seem to sneer at us, they can’t not look.” Gaara said before looking over to Neji and nodded in greeting; Kiba stuck out his hand.
“G’day, dunno if I really know you that much even though you’re related to Hinata and all that. I’m Kiba Inuzuka.” He grinned as Neji shook and introduced himself as well. Moments later Temari bounded back into the room this time dragging Itachi who was grinning at the sight in front of him.
“Oh well now I feel like I fit in. I was getting all these looks from people at the stop lights.” He grinned and motioned to his fishnet top and chains.
“I didn’t think you would even own anything like that.” Hinata gaped looking at his appearance as Itachi grinned and Temari growled jokingly, “he’s mine! Eyes off!”
A moment later Temari and Gaara’s mother walked into the room; barely batting an eyelash at everyone’s clothes, but raising an eyebrow at Itachi and Neji only because she didn’t know them.
“And who might these young men be?” She said looking pointedly at Temari who blushed and fiddled with her fingers.
“They’re my friends…yeah…” She mumbled and thanked her mother silently when she didn’t question it but rather moved to look at Neji.
“Are you related to Hina?” She asked as said girl walked out of the hallway and back into the kitchen, holding the family cat who was purring and snuggling in her arms.
“Yeah this is my cousin Neji, he’s coming with us as well.” Hinata said before looking up at the clock then speaking again, “we gotta go guys!”
Everyone looked at the clock and nodded getting up saying their goodbyes to Temari and Gaara’s mum before walking out the door. Temari hung back to hug her mother and whisper to her, “I’ll talk to you when we get back.”
“You had better. Now go and have some fun, and don’t forget to get me something.” She smiled giving her a fifty dollar note and walking back to her room.
Temari smiled and joined her friends outside as they piled into Itachi’s car; once everyone was in they debated what music to listen to before deciding for Linkin Park to be in the mood. Soon the sound of guitar was belting out of the stereo system as they drove to the station.
--
It took an hour on the train to reach the city and the teens had kept themselves amused by playing silly word games.
“Yay! We’re nearly there!” Hinata cheered as they left the train carriage and walked out the gates of Flinders Street station looking for the tram they needed. Temari pointed and they walked over to the stop and were slightly surprised to see quite a few people dressed somewhat like them already at the stop.
“We do have the tickets don’t we….” Kiba asked suddenly nervous, because he knew he and Gaara didn’t have the tickets. Both of their worries were put away as Hinata pulled out four tickets from her bra. “Right here boys.” She winked before placing them back in again earning a tut from Neji, she just stuck her tongue out at him and turned to Temari.
“You guys got your tickets?” She asked looking at both Temari and Itachi; Itachi nodded and pulled out his wallet, opening it and grabbing the two tickets inside.
“Check. We just need to get there now.”
“Tram. Duh.” Gaara said bluntly looking around for a timetable. Once he had located one they all gathered around and looked at the maps.
“This one goes…”
“…and that one…”
“This one!” Hinata said cheerful pointing to a number then looking around for it. “Number…eighty-six.”
“Okay! That’s twenty-nine…sixty-two…eighty-six is over there!” Itachi said looking around then started to move in the direction of where he was pointing. They all started to follow Hinata and Kiba singing and air guitaring while Gaara joined them on the air drums. Neji was behind them rolling his eyes but smiling none the less. Temari was walking next to Itachi humming a tune.
After waiting for a couple of minutes the tram finally pulled into the stop and they piled on, glad to see there were other people dressed like them. Everything was fine and it was pretty quiet apart from the radio playing, Hinata and Temari suddenly groaned as Pussy Cat Dolls started playing.
“Oh my god.” Hinata groaned and then grinned at Temari who grinned back. “Y’know what…” Hinata started and waited for the right part of the song to come up so Temari could say her part.
“What?” Asked Kiba looking between the too confused, a couple of other people were doing the same thing.
“Well it’s just that…” Hinata said then grinned as she and Temari spoke together in synchronize with the song.
“I hate this part right here.” They laughed and high-fived each other over such a silly thing.
Kiba and Itachi laughed, while Gaara and Neji snorted at their lame adaptation of the song. The people who were listening laughed a bit too then suddenly the quietness of the trip was broke as some yelled out “LINKIN PARK RULES!” as they boarded the tram, everyone who was attending the concert all cheered in agreement. By the time the tram had arrived at the concert the tram patrons had started to sing small bits of Linkin Park songs so when they all exited everyone was singing the same thing. A couple of people were air guitaring, some were drumming and others were singing.
“This will be so epic!” Temari shouted and hugged Itachi’s arm as they started to pile into the stadium.
“Agreed!” Hinata grinned, and pulled out the tickets handing them to the inspector. Each teen was holding onto each other so they wouldn’t be seperated.
“IN WE GO!” Itachi yelled and pulled the line into the already crowed area. They found their place and looked around waiting for the announcer to come out and start the show, even if there would be warm up bands first. When a man came out on stage there was a roar of cheering before almost everyone went quiet with anticipation.
“GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! I TRUST YOU’RE ALL EXCITED TO BE HERE?” He yelled into the microphone, another roar of yells answered his question and he laughed then introduced the first band.
“I KNOW YOU WANT TO SEE LINKIN PARK BUT TONIGHT WE HAVE AN UP AND COMING NEW MELBOURNE BAND. BARELY OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL AND ALREADY WITH AN ALBUM ON THE WAY IIIIIIT’S CARTOONS VERSES ERASERS!!” The lights behind him turned on a blast of music came from the speakers that surrounded the venue.
“HELL YEAHZ WE MADE IT!” Temari screamed before joining hands with Itachi and dancing around and singing with the rest of the crowd.
--
After the concert
“WOOOOWEEEE!” Hinata and Temari cheered as they walked arm in arm down the street, still singing. The boys followed behind talking about the concert; they had decided to walk to the nearest station instead of catching a tram because they would be packed and mightn’t smell very pleasant.
“One of the better concerts I’ve been too.” Neji commented to Kiba and smirked as the boys eyes widened.
“How many have you been too?” He asked surprised, Neji was quiet for a moment before answering. “About ten…Each was good in their own way but some had major bad parts.” Kiba’s jaw dropped.
“Woah. Which was the best?” He grinned, and Neji started to tell him about some of the other concerts he had been too. Behind all of them were Itachi and Gaara, neither was speaking much until Gaara bought up the topic of Temari.
“What are your intentions with my sister?” He asked eyeing Itachi even though he was taller then him. Itachi held up his hands in defence not wanting to anger the younger boy.
“Uhhh…I like her?” He said sheepishly grinning and hoping Gaara wouldn’t ask anymore, but he knew that would be asking too much.
“Of course. But what do you intend to do with her?” Gaara crossed his arms and looked up at the older boy.
“Uhh…Take her to places, hang out with her….uhhh maybeonedaykissherifyoudon’tkillmefirst.” He said quickly and started looking for an escape root just in case Gaara felt the need to hurt him.
“I thought that might be the case. I know she likes you so you have points in your favour. Now here comes the typical line which is said in most movies and stories and all that. Hurt her I hurt you.” Gaara said thoughtfully before glaring then raising and lowering his eyebrows.
“Good doing business with you sir.” Gaara said slyly before moving up the line to talk to Hinata. Temari having lost her singing partner looked around before grinning about bounding over to Itachi.
“Hey there handsome, have fun tonight?” She asked happily, grinning up at him. He smiled and grabbed her hand before answering.
“It was epical. And it wouldn’t have been as good if I hadn’t of bought you.” Temari blushed and squeezed his hand softly. They continued walking in a happy silence until Kiba yelled out he was hungry and demanded they stop somewhere to buy food.

Back Home; The Sabaku residence
“Wanna come in for a while or not?” Temari asked Itachi; they had already dropped everyone else home, Gaara had gone inside and now only Temari and Itachi were left in the car.
“I can’t I need to get home, Sasuke was next door with Sakura so who knows what they could have done. I wouldn’t be surprised if our house was covered in sparkles.” Itachi wondered before grinning and turning back to Temari.
“Oh and I was wondering if you wanted to go out for coffee or cake or something tomorrow afternoon.” He asked smiling softly at the smile that spread across her face.
“I would love to! See you tomorrow!” She grinned and pecked him on the cheek before leaving the car and skipping up to the front door.

(Back in time slightly) Haruno Residence, Friday night, 7pm
“..and then after the magical princess and her rainbow unicorn won the race they went back to their huge ginormous humongous castle and played hide and seek and watched Barbie movies and ate lots of popcorn. The end. Nighty night Suki.” Sakura finished her story, smoothed back the hair from her sister’s face and kissed her on the forehead. Suki snuggled into her blankets more and muttered something before dozing off. Sakura tiptoed out of the room and back to the lounge room where Sasuke was watching TV. Their mothers were out at the movies and Sasuke had decided to come over to their place instead of stay home alone.
“Okay she’s asleep. Now we can watch Underworld! But not too loud, I don’t want to wake her.” Sakura grinned as she walked over to the DVD player and turned it one before going to sit next to Sasuke on the couch.
“Hey where’d all the popcorn…go…” She looked over to him, one eye brow raised as he grinned and shook his head.
“I don’t know, it might have…gone on a magical adventure on its rainbow unicorn.” He suggested then laughed as Sakura whacked him with a pillow before sticking her tongue out at him and getting up to make more.
“I’ll help you; you don’t know how many evil rose bushes there might be in there!” Sasuke grinned and followed her into kitchen holding his hands up as she threw a few grapes at him.
“Okay I yield!” He shouted softly laughing slightly as Sakura grumbled and started making more popcorn for the movie. Sasuke grabbed two glasses and retrieved the milk and water from the fridge; water for him, milk for Sakura.
“So, that quite a story you were telling. Basing it on anything?” He teased as she went into the cupboard looking for icing sugar.
“Mmm maybe. Maybe not.” She grinned while sprinkling the sugar on top of the popcorn; “okay all done. Let’s go!” Sakura picked up the bowls and headed back into the lounge room. She hit the play button and turned out the lights then sat down and waited for Sasuke.
He sat down next to her and put an arm around her shoulders. “Can’t believe I’m watching this.” He muttered but looked to the screen as the girl on it started talking.
“Whadda you mean?” Sakura asked puzzled, he shrugged and looked at the movie while answering.
“Well it just was never my sort of movie. I mean, I wouldn’t have thought of even touching it. Not that I didn’t like it, but it just never occurred to me that I might want to like it.” He explained, trying to hear what the female on screen was saying, but Sakura was persistent, now she wanted to know more about his past.
“What were you like?...I mean…If you were anything compared to Naruto and Sai…Why did you become friends with me?” She asked turning around to face him now. Sasuke sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
“I’ve always been a bit cold towards others. Not around my family but around my ‘friends’. I never really had any real one besides Naruto, because well, everyone’s always liked me for my looks and all. So he was one of my only friends, and Sai just…joined. But I never really liked being with many people because I was always an object. But my mum always encouraged me to be a more normal child at home. She would make me sing and dance with her when she was cooking or get me and Itachi to wash our rabbit that was very fidgety and always jumping around.”
“Wow.” Sakura murmured, and Sasuke raised an eyebrow confused; she grinned, “That was the most I think I’ve heard you say at once.”
Sasuke rolled his eyes and tickled her lightly causing the teen to giggle softly before snuggling back into him. And grabbing some popcorn to finally pay attention to the movie.
Not that they had any idea what was going on any more.

“Ugh you ungrateful pig.”
Ino quickly darted into her room, wanting to avoid the cruel words of her mother. She grabbed a bag and packed a few things, got her alibi straight before opening the door again and walking out.
“I’m going to stay at a friends house tonight, she’s having birthday sleepover. I’ll be back tomorrow afternoon.” She said as she almost ran towards the door, not stopping to hear her mothers reply to the situation.
As soon as she was out of the house Ino begun to feel tears running down her face. She walked for a while before breathing a sigh of relief that she was away from home for one more night; before she realized that now she would have to find somewhere to stay. Pulling out her phone she looked through for Naruto’s number, she didn’t call or message him, she simply walked around the streets debating whether to call him or not. Finally she gave in and pressed the call number, she cringed at thinking how much her phone bill would be if he dragged the conversation out.
“Ello?” He answered and Ino groped around her mouth for words.
“Uh hi Naruto, it’s Ino.” She said softly, she decided to plunge straight into the deep end. “I was wondering if uh…if it wasn’t too much trouble I would be able to stay at your place tonight maybe. Please.” Her last word was like a desperate plead.
He was silent for a moment and Ino was scared he would reject her, even though she knew it was very possible.
“Sure, uhhh I live in Alfred Grove, number 35, it’s a dark blue house.” He paused for a moment at the end but then spoke again, “I’ll be home whenever you get here. Karin’s out for now but she’ll be back later.”
“Thank you. Thank you so much.” Ino said almost sobbing but restraining herself. Naruto said no worries before both hung up.

Saturday
Shino thought it might be too early for anyone else, but obviously he was wrong. Tenten walked into the shed and picked up her board. He almost wanted to stay hidden but couldn’t as he didn’t want to move.
“Morning Shino.” She called from one end of the shed before exiting with board in arm. He raised his hand in greeting and went back to waxing his board, wondering if he would ever have the nerve to really talk to her.
--
“Oh it’s you.” Kiba said worriedly, forcing Akamaru behind him and glaring at Suigetsu who had just walked into view in the small cove Kiba was sitting in at the beach.
“Uh. Yeah. Hi.” He clammered as he walked toward Kiba and a growling Akamaru. “What do you want?” Kiba asked venomously glaring at the teen.”Nothing. I’m just walking on the beach.” He stammered, he wouldn’t be at all surprised if Kiba set his dog on him. After the way and what he had done to him he couldn’t believe he wasn’t already attacked. “Yeah well keep walking.” Which is exactly what Suigetsu did.
Sakura moved her arm slightly, then slowly opened her eyes. She was sitting on the couch, leaning against Sasuke and they had a blanket draped over them. She looked about and saw the TV turned off and the lights off as well. She figured her mum must be home. It took her a moment to realize but Sasuke wasn’t sleeping, he had been watching her and tracing patterns on her arm (which was why she woke).
“Hey there.” She mumbled quietly, snuggling back into his embrace. “Morning.” He muttered back the sound of sleep still evident in his voice. “Wassa time?” Sakura asked looking around for a clock.
“’bout nine I think…You mum brought me some tea when I woke up.” He said quietly still tracing patterns. Sakura shrugged and leaned her head back down. “A couple more minutes then…”
--
Ino sat on the couch and tried not to look at Karin as she packed up her things.
The night had gone smoothly, until Karin had arrived home and demanded an answer to what she was doing there. Ino had stayed quiet as Naruto calmly (she couldn’t believe it) explained that she had just needed somewhere to stay. Their father and mother had been alright with the arrangement as Ino was sleeping on the couch fold out bed; though they couldn’t understand why Karin was so angry, though the last they knew was that they were still friends.
“Thanks for letting me stay the night, it was really kind of you.” Ino smiled and turned to walk out the door, Naruto followed her and opened it for her.
“So hope you’re ‘kay tonight and stuff...Yeah. See ‘ya.” He said as she walked out the door and back into her horrid life.

“I dunno, pink or red? Which is classier?” Ami asked Kin as they strolled through the shopping centre and played around in Myer with the makeup.
“Red, it just bring out the colour in your eyes. You look great.” Kin gushed and tried the pink lipstick for herself.
“Yeah. I know.”
--
The morning was relativity quiet for Temari, she didn’t get up until noon before realizing Itachi would be arriving at two and she looked like a mess.
“So what did you get me?” Temari looked over to her mother who was standing in the doorway. Temari mumbled something before slowly crawling out of bed at reaching for her bag which held souvenirs.
“Adjshgk.” Temari said and handed her a t-shirt with Linkin Park on the front. “Hope it fits.”
“Thank you darling, it’s lovely.” Her mother smiled before handing her a cup of tea and leaving the room.
“Shdjh.” Temari muttered again and stood up stretching her back out. She grabbed the tea and took a gulp before racing over to the bathroom to get ready.

Neji and Hinata had to attend a family meeting about what was to happen when Hiashi, Hinata’s father, went away for a business trip.
“Now, we can have someone come in to look after you both, but the maids will still be here.” Hiashi said looking down at his notes and then facing both teens.
“I think we will be fine father, Neji and I are both teens and we will behave responsibly.”
“I trust your word Hinata, I know neither of you are going to disturb the neighbours or abandon your school work.”
“Yes. We’ll be good.” Hinata smiled cheerily, while crossing her finger behind her back for Neji to see. He smirked but nodded his head and echoed Hinata’s words.

Hullo darlings. Very sorry but life decided to catch up with me. School isn’t that easy when you have five folio subjects to worry about.
Hope this is okay for the wait.
