Inspiration for this fic came from the song Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band that was playing while I thought of two of the kindest characters in Naruto both who are major underestimated and when push comes to shove , they can be pretty tough cookies.

Atleast thats how Sakura Haruno felt.

It wasn't that she didn't have a good did , it was just...grey.

It felt like everything didn't matter , no matter how perfect things would get (well not perfect , Sakura knew nothing was EVER truly perfect) , because she wasn't happy.

It didn't matter if she had the best luck all day , if Ed McMan came up to her door , gave her a million dollars, her parents actually noticed her existence , and Neji Hyuuga or Sasuke Uchiha( “popular” boys at her school) suddenly asked her to the Home Coming Dance.

It didn't matter because she knew known of it would make her maybe if her parents noticed her she'd be a bit happy but never entirly.

True happiness was a fairy tale.
