SA: I was watching “Precious Illusions” yesterday, and I decided that I’d better write a tribute to Methuselah, who is like, one of the coolest WHR characters ever! I mean, look at her! She knows everything! And she has Catherine Battistone’s voice. That makes her all the more cool! And the title is named for an episode of the original Star Trek Series. Or is it TNG? Oh well. You know. I don’t own either WHR or Star Trek.

Requiem For Methuselah

Time is a mysterious thing.

No one truly understands it,

Except for the legendary Methuselah.

A witch.

The Keeper of the Craft.

A keeper of time itself.

She had an eternity,

Yet all she wanted was to end it.

But Death would not come easily.

Only the fires that had long persecuted her people,

Could bring an end to her immortality.

She knew the truth of all things,

Which she passed on before her death,

To a young witch named Robin,

Who’s fire powers brought an end to her eternity.

This is a Requiem For Methuselah,

The Keeper of Eternity.
