I feels like it was just a dream...like, as if nothing in Remlia happened.
Did I actually see a talking butterfly? And did I, Astyanax, really slay a dragon (A/N: I'm not really sure myself, because I'm getting this information from the cover of the game, lawl.)? Lastly...did I really save a princess?
How cliche.
As I sit here, a month since that incident...or maybe you'd call it an adventure, but anyway, a month after that, I couldn't forget those violet eyes of the Princess I had saved. She was a lot less annoying than Cutie, although, I didn't spend too much time with her. She had a gentle voice, though, as I've remembered from those dreams I've been having. She gave me a look of compassion everytime I'd dream about her.
And as soon as that was finished, the dreams stopped appearing in my sleep. Sure, for creative writing projects, I'd use some of the events that happened during my adventure, not saying I did, and I'd find them quite useful. Except while I wrote them, I'd hear Cutie's quirky, and high voice ringing in my head still. Kinda annoyed me, so I didn't use them as much.
Everytime I see the colour purple, hear the word "rosebud", I perk up, like a desperate guy looking for his crush.
And I can't help but admit it, I guess that's my position right now. I've decided I'm not hiding it anymore, because...
I'm in love with the Princess.
And once again, how cliche.
I winced as the ebony-haired girl whacked me in my arm. "Oww...sorry, Melody."
"It's Melonie," she hissed at me, narrowing her cerulean eyes at me. "Gosh, what's up with you recently? You've been in a daze, or something."
Melody-I mean, Melonie was one of my friends of this year. She didn't really stand out, but I know, she tried, because sometimes, she was just annoying. But, she was my friend, and constantly talking to me. It wasn't that bad, y'know. I guess she had no one else to confide in, since her only friend was kinda...yeah. She's kinda gone. Nobody really talked to her...Melonie was kinda shy. Afterall, everyone thought she was weird for having jet-black hair, and blue eyes. It's not really...normal.
"No, nothing really," I replied casually, shrugging. "Just having some...thoughts."
"They're clean thoughts, right?" she asked me, flatly. "Right?!"
I blushed at her comment, "They're perfectly clean! Like...homework or...something." I lied to my friend. "Like that stupid assignment for English."
"I know!" she exclaimed, obviously falling for my lie. "I don't wanna read a stupid book."
I stifled a chuckle, and then told Melonie, "I've gotta get home now, see you tomorrow?"
"Dont' forget to meet me at the bus stop, like you did today!" she called to me as a walked away, and waved her good-bye. "Remember!"
"I will!" I said to her in repsonse, making my way to my house.
Wow, she can be a pest sometimes. Kinda like Cutie, who in a way, wasn't cute at all. Especially when she got angry at me. I shudder at the thought still.
Walking down the street, surrounded by native fauna, I felt like I was teleported back to Remlia. I felt like I was in that armour again, the one I was strangely wearing when I met Cutie. Why was I kneeling, anyways? So what if she got me to the freakin' world, it's not like I asked her to.
Woah. I just went angry on you. Sorry, guys.
It made me feel kinda...paranoid, but I imagined Bash, the Ax, in my possession once more. I pretended to swing at the enemies that I envisioned: Skeletons and bats...and weird-looking vines and the jellyfish things. "Ha!" I let out, pretending to use Bash heroically, like I did when I was saving Princess Rosebud. Damn, she was some hot stuff...
My fantasy envisionment suddenly poofed from exsistance as a girl's giggle rang in my head. My eyes widened. It was...heavenly. It was so...angelic, it was almost malicious. At least, my ears seemed to think so. I blushed in embarrasment, considering that person must've seen me "whack things" with "Bash in my hands."
I looked at her; a girl with cascading, dark hair, and her eyes were purple was well...almost a pitch black. I couldn't really tell what her hair colour really was, but her complexion was fair, not too pale, or not too tanned. And her figure...lanky in a sense, but still, curvy, and HOT! She gave another giggle at me, as she then walked away, clad in a pair of blue jeans and a semi-loose indigo shirt that complimented well with her hair.
"Am I seeing things?" I asked myself. "Because that girl looked exactly like Princess Rosebud."
And of course, I made it to my house, in one piece, still drowing in my thoughts of the Princess of Remlia.
Dude. I'm not sure if I'd like to continue this Astyanax fic...but maybe some reviews would be helpful.
If you actually want me to coninue this fic...well, you might have to wait a while before you get what you want, because I'm currently working on two Kingdom Hearts fics right now. :D I like them both, and I'd like some reviews on those, for people who like Kingdom Hearts.
And if you're reading this, simply because I'm writing it, I love you. Really, I do, and a lot of people don't really know about Astyanax (I mean, I've only gotten inspiration recently while playing some old NES games with my cousins and nephew and uncle here. :D teehee), so I'm telling you now: Because I myself doesn't know much about Astyanax (I couldn't get past the first level. I'm only getting my information from the introduction...lawl.), I don't think you'll need much knowledge about this game to understand my fic. I'm onyl displaying what I know, then explaining it...I guess.
Well, I'd like some reviews for this totally, cliche plot of mines. I mean, I kinda like it. :D I think this is one of the only Astyanax fics...I looked in the achive, and there were only two. I read one, and it was pretty good.
I shall join that.
Farewell, butaNENG, OUT!
