Chapter 5 : The First good bye

Outside Billy ran as fast as he could across the field

Outside Billy ran as fast as he could across the field. He wanted to stop, but couldn’t for he knew if he stopped he would die. Olivia caught sight of him and started running at his side, trying to create illusions that would set Dagbert off guard.

“Vertigo you fool….”

Dagbert smiled for he knew that they could never get away from him. He kept stalking them until she caught sight of the Davin ci Tower. There was a fight going on. Olivia and Billy saw it too. Dagbert had to keep them busy. He let a myriad of ice crystals rain down on them as a diversion. Olivia and Billy ran towards the city now, trying to get away. Olivia glanced back at the tower. She was getting worried.

Emma dragged Tancred into a dark space that looked like an old bedroom. She pushed Tancred against the wall and grabbed his shoulders. She felt like she could have cried.

“The reason why the red king’s sword exists is to protect people’s hearts! IT SHOULDN’T BE USED TO HURT OTHERS!! Please stop this nonsense and let’s get back in to the academy!!”

“But, the Red king…”

Then they heard a crash. Emma had a feeling that Asa was near. She pulled Tancred up a flight of stairs that led to a single room at the very top of the tower. Emma looked out a single large window in the room. It was large alright, and looked like some one could have fallen out of it. Emma had a sudden feeling that they were not alone.

“Found you!”

Asa let a shower of deadly needles into the room. Emma never knew that he had such powers like this. She screamed as she ran across the room with Tancred.

“Tancred… Are you ready to continue?”

Tancred gripped his sword.

“More ready than ill ever be.”

Emma couldn’t believe what they were saying. She stepped in front of Tancred and looked at Asa.

“ASA PLEASE STOP THIS!!”

“Emma?”

“PLEASE !! ASA ENOUGH OF THIS!!”

Asa smirked.

“You really lack confidence Emma Tolly, but that doesn’t seem to be the case of your friend Tancred.”

Emma turned to face Tancred.

“T-Tancred?”

“If the read king wished to find the perfect child, I will grant him that wish. So stand back.”

Tancred pushed Emma lighly to the side.

“T-Tancred..” Emma looked like she was going to cry any moment now.

“Emma?”

“NO!!” Big wet tears fell down Emma’s cheeks as she wrapped her arms around Tancred’s shoulders. Tancred was speechless.

“Im satisfied just being with you, and I don’t care if you become a perfect child or not.”

“E-Emma?”

“Although I love the red king, I DON’T EVER WANT TO LOSE YOU TANCRED!!”

Asa’s eyes widened. For a split second it seemed like the demon in side him had lost control. He suddenly dropped the Knife he was holding.

Emma let go of Tancred.

“So if you still insist on fighting…YOU’LL HAVE TO KILL ME FIRST!!”

Tancred closed his eyes.

“Im sorry….”

Emma’s eyes widened as another tear fell from her eyes.

“I can’t turn back.”

Tacnred pushed Emma off him quite harshly as he took hold of his sword again. Emma fell to the ground.

“Emma if you interfere again,” Tancred raised his sword at Emma’s face, “I If you interfere again, I WILL SLICE YOU IN HALF!!

Tancred raised his sword and let it drop to Emma, he stopped it just before it had a chance to cut into her flesh. Then Tancred turned the other way to face Asa. He ran at him at full force. Asa smirked as he ran to the window now unarmed without a weapon. He kicked out the window and crawled onto the roof.

Olivia glanced back at the tower and was surprised to see Asa and Tancred. She was really worried now. She realized that she had stopped running and Dagbert had stopped attacking. Asa was totally having an advantage on the roof. It was totally unfair. Dagbert saw that she had seen the fight at the tower. He flew to the ground and pushed Billy to the ground as he grabbed a handful of Olivia’s hair. He had to keep them distracted.

Emma sat helplessly on the ground crying. She couldn’t understand why Tancred was so obsessed with being the ‘Perfect child’. It didn’t matter at all to her. She loved him as he was.

The perfect Child. The only way to spare the Red King from his grief.

“I WILL BECOME IT!!”

Tancred swung and swung but managed to never hit Asa. He was too fast. Then it happened, Tancred managed to slice Asa throat a little bit. Asa stopped and felt his neck. He got cut deep, but he would heal. All he cared about at the moment was getting the soul he oh desperately wanted. He could feel his life draining away. He was just barely holding on. Tancred swung again. Asa disappeared.

“What –

Then it happened. Asa came by so fast. A large wind picked up as Asa grabbed the sword right at the blade. Then Asa took his free hand and grabbed right into Tancred’s chest. His claws went in deep as Tancred felt his own life drain away. Then Tancred felt himself falling. Asa had kicked him off the roof.

Olivia received a punch in the face by Dagbert. She felt blood drip from her nose. Then it happened. It started to snow.

“TANCRED!!”

Emma flew out of the tower to catch Tancred. She caught his just in time. Tancred’s chest started to glow. Then it came out. A large blue sphere. It floated upwards in Asa’s direction. Emma’s eyes widened. That was a soul? She raced up to get it. She almost got it but Asa had grabbed it away from her fingers.

The whole world seemed to stop as the soul glowed like a star in Asa’s hands.

“S-so this is what a soul looks like.” Asa stared in awe at the glowing ball of light in his hands.

“ASA GIVE THAT BACK!! THAT SOUL BELONGS TO-

“Never. This soul now belongs to me because I won !!”

Zelda gasped as she watched Asa ingest the soul into his body. Asa seemed to now glow like the soul for a few seconds.

“My body feels so warm…. I guess this is the power of an endowed soul….”

Asa laughed as he stopped glowing….

“Asa pike…. I never….” Olivia stammered as she saw what had become of the person she once thought to be a friend.

Asa smirked down at her.

“What’s wrong with you? I’m right here if you want to fight. Are you still pretending to be a good girl too? If so, YOU ARE TRULY AN IDIOT!!”

Asa grew wings as a myriad of giant hailstones came down on them. Emma tried to block them off with her own wings, but she couldn’t block them off. Asa laughed as he mocked her.…

“Wow!! Look how sharp they are!! Isn’t it because of Tancred’s soul??”

Emma flew to everyone else’s side with Tancred’s body with an angered expression. Then they spotted Zelda, Dagbert and Manfred coming at them. Zelda had a blank expression on her face as usual.

“Your all too weak.” Zelda flashed an unexpected smile at Emma. She held up a sword. She was about to swing, but an extremely large and sharp hailstone blocked her off. Zelda glared up at Asa.

“Unfortunately, I don’t plan to have things go your way Zelda...” Asa sniggered as he disappeared into an N-field.….

One performer has left…As another disappeared from the stage… Before act II begins…. Let us take a small break…So run along and do what you please… for this jester before you is quick to change his mind…

Zelda turned to Charlie now, but before she could say anything, everything disappeared in a great flash of light.

I have nothing to say at the moment but: make my day and, Plz review... oh yea and i also would like to say that im really bored at the moment...
