Unfortunately, I will stop writing for an indefinite amount of time. I have been receiving a lot of viral attacks on my computer and software from URLs related to ; so I have decided, for the next few weeks, to stop writing, to see if can solve this problem. My computer keeps on getting slower and slower each time I visit , and I hope to be able to solve this problem soon.

Hopefully, the next chapter will be up within the next two weeks. If I continue getting attacks, than I will just post the chapter anyways, then stop for another week or so. I appoligise for the inconvenience, and I hope that I will continue to be able to write.

…Actually, I’ve decided to post the next chapter now! Here’s Tigerstar’s Past, chapter NINE!

I woke up, and aroused from the darkness that had pressed in on me.

“Oh, good, you’re awake.” Spottedpaw looked down at me, her beautiful amber eyes blinking. “Are you feeling okay?” She tilted her tortoiseshell head, then called over to Feverspotted, “Tigerpaw’s awake!”

“What…wh-what happened?” I groaned, then tried to roll over. I winced when my hind leg touched the bedding, then realized that I was resting on back. I felt a slight pressure on my sore throat, and sniffed; some sort of dressing was on my throat, and there was cobwebs all over my shoulders and neck.

“Well,” Spottedpaw began. “From what I heard, you were fighting a WindClan warrior called Graymist. She had you pinned down and was on your throat. Bluepaw saw the whole thing; she was fighting with Sunstar. When she saw Graymist on you, she left the fight with Sunstar, and tackled Graymist. She almost thought that she was too late, but she wanted to avenge you anyways. She was so infuriated, you wouldn’t believe it, Thistlepaw said. Well, anyways, she got Graymist off of you, Thistlepaw ran the other apprentice off, and came over to help her. Together they killed Graymist; remember, they thought that you were dead. Airstar is furious…he’s the one who declared that you were still alive. He lunged at your throat, but Sunstar had leapt at him and carried him off of his paws. Airstar regained control and ordered his patrol back, bringing Graymist with them. And they brought you back here, so, here you are.” She said blatantly. “Goldenpaw and Bluepaw are getting their warrior names,” she added thoughtfully.

I was listening in horrible disbelief. Not only had those WindClan scum managed to kill Bluepaw, but they also gave her the reason she needed to become a warrior! “What?!” I spluttered. I didn’t mind Goldenpaw; we had grown quite close, but her sister is unbelievable.

“Don’t make me repeat it.” She said wearily.

“Tigerpaw, are you feeling okay?” Feverspotted had come up to us. “Your throat is quite sore, and there is some puncture internally, but it should heal if you stay still. You’ll be missing a lot of training while your throat heals, and your left hind leg was knocked out of place when you hit the ground, put I put it back. However, because it took so long to get to you, there was a lot of bruising on your leg, so you’ll have to wait to resume training until that heals as well. There are some minor scratches that we already disinfected with marigold, and some cuts that should be alright in about two days’ time. Overall, you’ll be missing a lot of training; you’ll have to make it up by working hard when you are back on your paws.”

In addition to the news of Goldenpaw and Bluepaw’s warrior ceremonies, this stunned me into horror. Not only would they become warriors, but I wouldn’t anytime soon!

When?” I rasped hoarsely. My voice failed.

“When what?” Feverspotted looked irritated.

When will I be training! Tell me!”

Feverspotted and Spottedpaw exchanged a look. “Well, if you don’t overexert yourself and do anything foolish…it’ll go faster than if you did move around.”

When. Will. I. Be. Back. In. Training.” I said with deadly calm. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, prepared for the worst—a quarter moon…it couldn’t take more than 4 or 5 days for swelling to go down, correct?

The two medicine cats paused. “A half moon.” Feverspotted finally replied.

I gasped. Big mistake; my throat was still sore, and the air flowing through it pained.

“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high rock for a clan meeting!” The familiar tones rang out.

“If I see you move, Tigerpaw, I’ll dislocate your other leg,” Feverspotted growled.

“As will I!” Spottedpaw laughed, then pranced out to the clearing. Feverspotted gave me another hard glare, and then left the den.

A half moon…a half moon to heal. Until I’m finally training again. That was too long, much, much too long. But I could speed up the healing process. I bridled on these thoughts while Sunstar made Goldenpaw and Bluepaw warriors. I heard the names; beautiful Goldenpaw was made Goldenflower, and Bluepaw was made Bluefur. He also made Runningkit and Mousekit apprentices. One-eye and Willowpelt were their new mentors.

I thought about this…Bluepaw…Bluefur. She also wanted leadership. But then again, all cats did. So it wasn’t bad, for me to want to be a leader, was it? I wanted to help ThunderClan. If RiverClan, ShadowClan, and ThunderClan joined together and killed or drove off WindClan, it would be ThunderClan who benefited. We would be the strongest force in the area! No cat could stop us, no Clan or any rogue group could defeat us if three strong clans united. And after the attack on us from WindClan, I certainly didn’t want them anywhere near my vision of TigerClan.

Bluefur was one of the objects standing in my way…and like the way I killed a mouse, I would eliminate her problem.

Many days had passed since the battle with WindClan, and Feverspotted gave me the okay to do some light training; no battle training, only hunting techniques. I had already learned that, but it’s better than just lying around the Medicine den, the only scents in my nose the herbs instead of fresh-kill.

Thistlepaw and I were sharing portion of a pheasant that Goldenflower had caught. “Tigerpaw,” he murmured. “Can you keep a secret?”

“Of course, Thistlepaw.” I replied.

“I…I want to be a leader.” He meowed softly.

My blood turned to ice.

what?!” I rasped.

“No, no…I want to be a leader, but it’s not like I’m going to kill any cat or purposely do anything to get there. I just…want to be a leader. I want to be able to make the calls and…and I want nine lives.” He whispered.

Another obstacle to overcome! Blood was thundering in my ears. My own brother wanted my position! How dare he! If he had any notions of power or anything like that…I would kill him as I did with the 4 month old rogue kit I found in the woods. I didn’t need to, but it was trespassing, and it needed to be taught a lesson. But I made sure that it learned that lesson…no one would ever suspect me, however.

But I said, “That’s fine, Thistlepaw. That’s absolutely fine.”

Author's Note: Sorry once again for the inconvienience. And a big shout-out to SANDTALON for guessing what would happen--yes, Bluepaw saves Tigerpaw. And from now on it's going to be kinda rushed...So. Read and ReViEw. Thanks for reading!
