Daiki walked through the street. He was incredibly lonely. His best friend Kazuya had left almost a year ago. She was probably his best friend. No one had found her. No matter how many ANBU were sent.
To tell the truth there had always been something strange about her though.
Kazuya was born of the Hyuga clan. She wasn't exactly a prodigy. In fact she had never gotten in a battle. When she sparred with her father she would fail miserably. It was as if she had no will to fight.
Daiki could remember the first day he met her... He was and Uchiha and she was a Hyuga. Those were the the two most powerful clans in all of Konoha. And they were in close alliance with each other.
They were both three years old. Kazuya and Daiki's fathers wanted them to become friends. They would inherit their clans one day, so if they were friends the clans would stay in peace with each other,
Daiki could remember the first thing he thought when he saw her. "Lonely"
Kazyua's eyes were always on the floor. She never made eye contact. and she was always sighing as if she were sad.
That's why Daiki decided to try to be her friend.
At age six Kazuya's sister, Shin, was chosen to be the heir to the Hyuga clan instead of her. Though younger Shin showed more talent at that age then Kazuya did.
Though she was no longer heir to the Hyuga clan Kazuya trained at the Academy. Her grades sky rocketed. Though she never showed emotion. Daiki was admittedly jealous.
At age twelve they became guenin. They were put on the same team along with Tora and her nin-dog Kilala. The team got along well enough.
One day Tora, their leader, Marabi, and himself were waiting for Kazuya to show up for training when the alarm went off.
Every jounin and ANBU gathered at the Hokage's office, but they were too late. All that was left was his dead body and a certain hyuga grinning maliciously.
That day one ANBU and four jounin died trying to stop Kazuya. And they all failed.
When Daiki was informed all he could do was stare in shock.
"What happened to her?" He would ask himself repeatedly. There was no answer. What scared him the most was the fact that this seemed so similar to the leaving of his older brother, Itachi. What if she was in alliance with him? What if she was working for Itachi from the start? Daiki didn't know, but he was going to find out, no matter what it takes.
