I’ve finally gotten around to re-writing this so those random letters don’t show up. Reading away!
“Jaaaaaack, I really don’t want to do this...” Jack just rolled his eyes, he loved Ianto but seriously all he did sometimes was bitch. “I’m tired of staring at your pale behind, you never go outside.” Jack was dragging Ianto out of the Hub for the morning.
“Jack, wait, you don’t understand!”
“I understand that it’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the summer and you’re attempting to stay inside doing?” Ianto sighed, he really really really, didn’t want to go outside, and he couldn’t even remember what the outside world looked like he spent so much time in the Hub.
“I would’ve been looking for more information on a lead I found.” Jack sighed, a good 60 percent of those leads never lead anywhere good. They had, much to Iantos dismay and Jacks gratitude reached the door.
“Come on Pale-y, if something comes up the others will call us.” Jack swung the door open with his usual flourish, Ianto squinted and frowned, the sun was really bright. “Is something wrong?” Jack asked a bit impatiently.
“No, but...” Our poor Ianto never got a chance to finish his sentence, Jack pushed him outside suddenly, and Ianto stumbled out as he heard the door close.
“See Ianto?” Jack started while holding out his arms, “It’s a nice day, a little sun never hurt anyo-are you okay?!” Ianto looked uncomfortable, his face was very red.
“J...Jack, I think something's wrong w...with m...” Ianto never finished, his arm was on fire, and soon his back was too. Jack tossed his coat on top of Ianto putting out the fire. Ianto migrated into the shade. “I...I’m not sure what happened! One second I was looking at the sky and then...” He stopped, Jack was in hysterics “Jack, I don’t see what’s so funny, spontaneous combustion isn’t normal on Earth.” Jacks laughter slowly subsided
“While spontaneous, I think I know why you erm, combusted.” Ianto waited for Jack to continue, Jack swallowed a big gulp of air try to keep the laughter at bay. “Ianto, when was the last time you went outside Ianto unconsciously pulled the jacket tighter around him while he thought,
“I have no idea; it couldn’t have been that long ago Jack snorted at that.
“Well, I believe that’s what caused your combustion... “
“Wait,” Ianto interrupted, “You think I caught on fire because of my lack of sun exposure?!” Jack chuckled,
“I’m pretty sure that’s the real reason; think of it this way, at least you have an excuse to not go outside anymore Ianto pulled a face and stomped back into the Hub leaving Jack to laugh to himself.
