Gohan’s P.O.V

I don’t understand him. Why does he want to kill himself?? I sit in a chair by his bed all day long. All he does is stare at me. His eyes are so full of pain. I can tell he wants me to leave the house so he could kill himself when I’m not here. I’m not going to let him do that!! I can’t let him do that!! He’s my father!! And I love him!! I suddenly snap, and I start screaming and crying at my dad.

“WHY THE HELL CAN’T YOU SEE THAT YOU’RE STILL NEEDED HERE?!” I shout. Then, my dad for the first time in what seemed like ages speaks.

“You don’t understand…” is what he says to me. That’s all it took was 3 words to come out of my dad’s mouth. He was right. I don’t understand.

“Then help me understand dad.” I tell him.

“I just don’t feel like I’m needed here anymore… Besides, you’ll get over my death in time… You did with your mother…” he whispers to me.

“I lost my mother to a disease. I don’t want to lose my father to his own hands.” I tell him. I’m starting to cry a little harder now. Then, I snap again. “JUST TO LET YOU KNOW DAD, GOTEN AND I STILL NEED YOU!! GOTEN ESPECIALLY NEEDS YOU!! DO YOU THINK HE WANTS YOU TO DIE?! BECAUSE IF YOU THINK THAT FOR ONE SECOND THAT HE WANTS YOU TO DIE, YOU’RE MISTAKEN!!” I shout out. Once again, all he does is stare at me. Then, I stomp out of the room, and slam the door.
