Ok so this just came into my mind while I was reading We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’ by madSeason whichby the way I recommend for everyone to read, since it is a fantastic story that had be Allenlike a baby in the end. Anyway while I was reading that this idea came to me. i dont get the title ever, im really bad with them. so sorry

Summary:Veronica knew something was wrong when Lamb came in to talk to her, the sad and sympathetic look said it all. As the bad new came and the tears where flowing out veronica found out that the ones you love could be taken away from her and she needed to grab onto someone as much as she could. Death ,tears ,brake ups, apologies, yeah that’s the life of Veronica mars LoVe in the end

When she found what had happened she was sitting in her criminology class jotting down notes when a sad, sympathetic Don Lamb came rushing in saying he needed to speak to her. She had never seen the man with these kinds of expressions towards her, her gut clenched.

As lamb came over to her she immediately stood up and left the classroom with him following right behind her.

“Is it my dad, is he ok? What happened? Why are you here?” the questions kept coming out of her mouth like word vomit and Lamb put his hand on her shoulder to stop her.

“Veronica, we should talk about this someplace else.” He said softly and veronica shook her head and crossed her arms.

She wasn’t going to hear the news that turned Neptune’s own spawn of evil, into a soft caring sympathetic man.

“No, I want to know what is going on and I want to know now!” Veronica said as her body shook a little and her voice rose.

“There was an accident…” Veronica cut off lamb with a snarl.

“Of coursed there was, why else would you be here. I mean I haven’t committed a crime. Now tell me who was in the accident!”

Lamb stepped towards her and took a breath; he honestly didn’t know how to tell her what had happened, it would be the new that finally broke the strongest person in Neptune, hell in the whole of California.

“Sacks came to me this morning, he found a…. he found a body laying by the road. It looked like the body-” veronica cut him off again

“Stop saying the body, tell me who it is” she couldn’t help the sob that came out of her mouth, she quickly looked at the ground not wanting to see lambs face,

“The bod…. they found him beaten up really badly, by the time we got him to the hospital he wasn’t breathing…I’m sorry Veronica, he’s dead”

‘Oh God, no, no no! What the hell happened?” veronica thought, then she couldn’t help the faces that popped up in her head. Her dad, Logan, Weevil, Piz…

“Im sorry Veronica, but Wallace fennel is dead” as lamb said that veronica thought a knife went into her heart.

She couldn’t breath, there was a lump in her throat that was stuck in her lungs, the tears that where violently coming from her eyes where destroying her vision. He body felt numb and she felt as if the whole world stopped.

Wallace, her best friend, the guy who didn’t care what everyone was saying about her in high school, who did everything for her without a single question about why he was doing it.

He was the guy she owed a hundred favors for, and even more snicker doodles then she could count. He was dead!

Veronica didn’t even notice that she fell to the floor in a sobbing mess, she didn’t register lamb picking her up and driving her home to her crying father, the man who before Wallace was the one man who she trusted with her life, who she loved more than anything. Wallace was second on that list.

As soon as she was in her bed she feel to sleep, the tears and the pain in her chest just made her so tired she couldn’t even open her eyes.

As soon as she closed her eyes she found her self on the beach with Wallace smiling at her.

“What’s up superfly?” Wallace smiled as he ran up to her and gave her a bear hug, veronica didn’t feel it.

“Your not here” she whispered and Wallace smiled.

“Of course I am…girl Im always here…not to be corny or anything, ya know cause a brotha like me has to be all about the pimp juice!” he smirked

“I don’t even know what you’re talking about” Veronica chocked out a laugh

“Be safe V, ya know ‘I’m always looking out for you, don’t think that just because I’m gone that I want be able to help you” he said and sat down on the sand next to a red, remote controlled plain.

“Are you really dead?” she whispered as she sat down next to him, his silence was her answer.

“Who did it, why would anyone kill you” Veronica asked shaking her head

“You’ll find out soon enough, some fates are accidents…they happen at the wrong time and the wrong place.” Wallace told her and picked up the remote and started to control the plain that was now in the sky.

“Ill find out who and make them pay…but I don’t know if I can do it without you” and now she if crying, but the tears don’t come out of her eyes and Wallace shook his head

“V, don’t worry it will all turn out ok. Just rest and wake up…you need to just morn me then move on”

“How can you say that, how can you tell me to forget you!” veronica shouted and Wallace looked as if he was fading away

“Not forget, just morn” Wallace said as he disappeared along with the beach, next thing she knew the monster that usually haunted her dreams were back and she was crying for help.

Veronica didn’t leave her room, she sat in the middle of the bed trying to breath, trying to keep the tears in, and trying to not smash everything in the room. The fact that the world would take away her best friend again was not fair. She wanted to scream at the sky, scream at the world for taking away another person she loved.

The next day was worse; it was the day she would see her best friend be berried in the ground. She walked into the church and sat in the front row next to Darrel who was sitting next to a crying Alicia. Veronica let the tears fall down; she didn’t want to hide the fact that she was crying for the death of her best friend. That wouldn’t be fair to Wallace.

When it was time for her to walk up in front of everybody, she just couldn’t. When she opened her mouth all that came out was a sob. Thankfully her dad came up to her and grabbed the piece of ripped paper with ears soaked into it, out of her hands. The speech she wrote made Alicia cry harder, Darrel hold onto his seat tighter and her tears to flow down more.

One the torture of the ceremony was over, after they berried her best friend under the dirt, she just couldn’t let it out. She threw the flowers on his grave and struggled to walk away. She wanted to crawl on her knees and talk to the gravestone in front of her. She wanted to tell him she was sorry for not immediately helping him with his dad, for hating Jackie so much even though he told her to give the girl a chance. She wanted to go back to her house and bake a fresh batch of snicker doodles ad run his dorm room, watch him eat them while he raved on and on about basket ball.

By the time she was done staring at the gravestone empty her father had pulled her away and already tucked her into her cold bed. Well actually she didn’t know if it was the bed that was cold, or her skin and bones.

The next day her father left her alone in her room to go and chase down a bail jumper, Logan came to visit her.

She was curled up n a ball when he entered her room and she didn’t look up as he sat on her bed, to close to her then she wanted.

“Veronica I’m so sorry”

Sorry that word usually means that you regret something you did, Logan didn’t kill Wallace so why was she there telling her he was sorry, he should be with Parker. Telling her he loved her, holding her with his warm arms, and smiling at her with that smile that made every girl swoon.

“I…don’t know what to say to make it better” Logan told her as he laid his hand on her shoulder making veronica flinch and move away.

“Then don’t…. just go back to your girlfriend and leave me alone” she spat but never looked up at him. If she did Logan would have seen the tears running down her face making large black lines and red-rimmed eyes.

Logan moved away a bit and looked at the wall before looking back at her “ just want to help Ronnie,” he whispered softly and veronica stood up so fast she nearly tripped.

“Don’t call me Ronnie! You cant Logan, you just cant. You never have been able to so maybe you should just leave me like you did before…. just be like everybody else and Leave!” veronica was panting after her outburst, she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and turned away from Logan.

“Im not leaving Ronnie, not right now, not when your like this” Logan stood up and walked around the bed towards her.

“I don’t want you here…. go back to Parker and leave me alone” the way she spoke told Logan that she couldn’t fight anymore, she was to tired and emotionally drained.

“Parker is staying with her parent for a while…I’m not leaving and that’s final,” he told her and veronica quickly turned around making Logan step back to paces.

“Of course that’s the only reason you would even spend two seconds with me…god Logan my best friend is dead, ok. I want to be left alone! Please” she whispered and Logan heart broke “I always want to spend time with you, I want to spend time with you every minute, and right now you need some one”

“Please Logan, I don’t beg and you know that. But I’m begging you to just leave me alone…I need to mourn Wallace and…. and I cant to that if you and my dad are always here” the desperation in her voice is what made Logan nod his head and walk out of her room. Veronica sighed for a second before Logan stood back in the room and looked her in the eyes.

“Im so glad you introduced me to Wallace, veronica. He was a really great guy.” Then he was gone.

The news came a few weeks later, they found the man who killed Wallace, and the guy was a hit man who was after the wrong person the whole time. The man stupidity was what got Wallace killed, and Veronica wanted to be at the prison when they killed the guy, her father forbidden her to go though.

As two weeks went by she started to go back to college, she never spoke a word to anyone though. Logan came to talk to her while she sat watching her food go cold, she never lifted her head to look at him and never opened her mouth to speak, he got the drift.

Piz didn’t hit on her anymore, he moved back to Beaverton to go to a college around the area. Mac never left Veronica’s side when they were on the college grounds, Mac was scared veronica would disappear on her like Wallace and Cassidy did. Veronica hugged her without a word; she wanted to let Mac know that she was there for her. Mac wasn’t the hugging type of girl but she hugged veronica back, letting her know that she wouldn’t leave like so many other people in veronica’s life.

Logan knew that he had to get it through Veronica’s head that he loved her, that he was sorry and he wouldn’t leave her again. The problem was that while he was with parker, veronica would always run away from him, well more then she usually did.

Parker came back a week ago and he called her over to the suit, when he opened the door Parker came flying at him with a hug and a large kiss on the lips, he gently put her back on the ground before taking her hand and leading her to the couch.

“We need to talk” as soon as those words left his mouth parkers face fell.

“Oh…. what’s wrong?” she asked softly and Logan wouldn’t look at her, he was to focused on how he would tell her that he couldn’t see her anymore.

“Look Parker…. we need to brake up. I can’t see you anymore; there is just too much going on at the moment with Wallace’s death and veroni-“ as soon as Logan started to sat veronica’s name Parker eminently stood up.

“Don’t worry Logan, I know your still in love with her. I’ll get out of your way so you can go and swoop her up off her fucking feet” parker snapped and ran out the door.

Logan sighed and stood up, he quickly called veronica’s apartment to have Keith tell him that she was at Neptune high. He wasn’t an idiot so he knew why she would be there, even though he knew he should give her some space while she was there, he had to see her.

Veronica stood at the flagpole just staring at it.

“This is where it all started” she whispered then walked up to the plat form and sat on top of it, while facing the pole she let a few tears out. God she was sick of crying, didn’t Wallace tell her in her dream to mourn then move on?

“I miss you soda pop’ she whispered as she remembered the name she called him after she cleared his name from the PCH’s.

Veronica felt someone’s hand on her arm and quickly turned around to see Logan standing behind her with a sad smile.

“What are you doing here?” she grumbled as she got up off the plat form and walked back o her car, Logan following a few spaces behind her.

“I'm sorry…about Wallace, Madison, Mercer, Parker everything Ronnie, I’m a screw up and I know that. All I ever want to do is protect you…. but instead I broke you. I love you more then the-“ veronica cut him off by turning around and raising her hand that told him to stop. “Don’t Logan…. not after everything with Wallace, I don’t want you telling me you love me while your still with Parker…I need to move on with my life, that also means moving on from you” she turned around and ran to her car leaving an upset Logan standing in the parking lot of the school, that defiantly changed her life.

Veronica walked away from the food line with a tray in her hands, only to have them yanked out and thrown on the ground by an angry looking Parker “He loves you, are you happy” she hissed before walking away. Veronica stood in the court with everyone watching her just stair at the tray and the food on he ground, she didn’t notice someone pick it all up then shout at everyone. When she looked up she was surprised to see dick there smiling down at her. “Thanks’ she mumbled then speed walked away.

Dick chased after her and jumped in front so she couldn’t walk away “Veronica…do you think we could talk?”

“Yes…. but with each other? No” she said and tried to walk away when he grabbed her upper arm and sat her down at a table for two “Look…there are some things I need to get out and apologize. I have been talking with Mac, you know letting everything out. I need to tell you that I’m so sorry for that night….i should have never put Cassidy in a room with you-“

“Please Dick just…. not right now” she interrupted him and went to get up but he softly pushed her back into her seat.

“Please Ronnie…I also need to apologize for saying all those things to you in high school, I was a ass and I didn’t know how much damage that me calling you a whore could course…I know you might not forgiveme…but I need you to accept my apology” Dick said and veronica bit her lip before continuing “I….i forgive you, I don’t ….i don’t fully blame you for that night….Cassidywas there and Woody, after what the guy did to your brother…i…I accept your apology Dick” veronica said and gave him a small smile before getting up.

Dick stood up right after her and smiled “Thank you Ronnie, I’ve been hanging around Mackie and the way we have been talking has made me relies how much of a true dick I am” he said before they parted ways.

The next day Logan cornered Veronica in a corner and kissed her, she never saw it coming but couldn’t help but kiss him back, Logan smiled against her lips then held her as he stroked her cheek. Veronica quickly moved a step away from him and looked down “Why did you kiss me?’ she asked him

“I broke up with Parker, I told you veronica that I was going to be here for you, Wallace was your best friend and I know I could never replace him in that department and I never want to take his place, but maybe I could help in the boyfriend department?” he said and kissed her cheek before staring down at her again.

“Logan we cant…I need space…I need-“ Logan cut her off with a kiss on the lips “I need to be able to hold you at night and tell you I love you and I will never again leave you, I need your clothes spread around my floor, I need you to let me help you….i need you” he smiled.

“Logan I…it’s hard and I don’t know if I can…I’m so sick of everyone leaving me…Lilly and Wallace where my best friends and they didn’t have the choice, but they still left and god it hurts. I want to be able to trust you but with Madison” she shook her head and Logan wrapped his arms around her “Ronnie she meant nothing to me, I don’t even remember that night. The only way I even know that I slept with her is because when I woke up she was in bed with me….i love you and no one else, I only want to protect and have you” she whispered and veronica looked up to him with tears in her eyes.

“Don’t leave” she mumbled and Logan swore he never would.

It took Veronica a long time but after Wallace’s death she noticed that the ones you love could be taken away from you at any moment, she held onto Logan for dear life and swore to her self, she promised to Wallace that she would change. She would learn to let people in, to trust…. and to love.

Well I hope you all liked it. I know I know in nearly every single one of my stories some one dies. But I just can’t help it...you think im cursed?
