Lan and the others are on their way to Lan’s dad at SciLab, when they see a young boy, wearing a yellow shirt with Gutsman’s symbol on it, at the entrance to the railroad. They also see Mayl and Yai next to him. They walk over to see what’s going on.

Lan: Hey, guys, what’s the meaning with this?

Yai: This boy claims that his big brother is the best NetBattler in town.

Kikki: Well, I’m pretty sure that whoever that guy is, he can’t be better than the #2 NetBattler in town, who happens to be Dex.

Boy: No one is better than my brother.

Bridget: Well, he maybe did just make himself blow up, just to impress on you.

Boy: But, if he’s not the best, then who is it?

Zoey: I guess that would be Lan. I mean, he, and his brother Hub, uh, NetNavi MegaMan, was the ones who saved the world three times already, with help from us five magical girls.

Dex suddenly appears.

Dex: Hey, guys, what’s going on here?

Corina: Well, we were about to visit Lan’s dad at the SciLab, to see if he could fix Lan’s PET, which did get a flash-type bug, because of that Flashman did zap him with a powerful blast, before he was deleted, and then we found this boy, who’s brother is a big, fat liar, who seems have been telling silly stories, just to impress on this boy.

Dex looked at the boy, and started to fade in his face (turn white in the face).

Dex: That’s my brother, Chisao.

The boy turned to face Dex, started to smile and jumped on his brother, hugging him.

Chisao: Big brother!

Mayl: Awh, isn’t it cute?

Renee: Yeah, but why did Dex try to impress on him?

Lan: Well, at least Chisao should be happy over that MegaMan is the only NetNavi who is strong enough to take down old Gutsy.

Chisao: Well, I guess you are right.

Lan: But let’s head for SciLab, now!

Chisao: Wait, I want to see how good my brother is as a NetBattler.

Lan: Okay, but don’t get mad, if I defeat Dex.

Chisao nodded, and Lan and Dex pulled out their PETs.

Lan/Dex: Battle Routine, Ready!

MegaMan vs. Gutsman!

Gutsman started to slam the ground, but MegaMan jumped away.

Lan: Sword: Slot-In!

MegaMan’s right arm turned into a Sword, and he slashed Gutsman three times. Gutsman did slam the ground powerful enough to almost break it apart.

Lan: Wide Sword: Slot-In!

MegaMan’s left arm turned into a Wide Sword, which he used to slash Gutsman with, alongside the other Sword.

Gutsman started to swing his fists at MegaMan, but he avoided them very easy.

Lan/Hub: Time for Full Synchro!

Lan: Long Sword: Slot-In!

MegaMan lifted his arms up over his head, there a Long Sword appeared between the two swords, making the three of them merge together into one bigger, more powerful sword.

Lan/Hub: Program Advance: Life Sword!

MegaMan held the sword tight, while he used it to slash Gutsman, making him log-out.

Chisao: Big brother, that was fantastic.

Lan: Well, what did you expect from the best Battler in town, after me?

Dex: Thanks, Lan!

Suddenly, started Lan’s PET react strange.

MegaMan: Lan, it starts to get even worse.

Lan: Then we better hurry. Let’s go!
