Ok, this was orginially a dream. And in the dream I was actually watching the subbed version of this on Youtube. So I decided to turn it into a story.

Yes, this is the same Blossom from the Love fic, which I really need to work on...

XXXX

“I’m going in!” Blossom cried, staring up at the smoky sky. Ever since she’d gotten to Ultimate, Blossom felt invincible. And she’d spotted the perfect target, a Piedmon. She was going to prove Ag wrong. They’re gotten into an argument. He had told her she was way in any over her head.

This is my chance. Its time to show him I don’t need him protecting me. Blossom thought.

“Blossom, no.” Ag said firmly. “That’s a Mega. You’re an Ultimate.”

“Blossom, I think he’s right on this one.” Trey began. “The city is under attack, it would be better if we all stayed together.”

It was true. Smoke was rising from the buildings and dark digimon were battling the tamer’s digimon. The moon and stars were blocked out by the smoke. People were running everywhere. Cars were abandoned on the street. Buildings were crumbling. And, worst of all, bodies of humans lay on the sidewalk and in the road.

Blossom didn’t even look at Trey. She was too busy giving Ag a death look. “Ag, I’m not a Baby. And you don’t have control over me.” With that the Lillymon took off, soaring upwards. She sent a Flower Canon Attack at Piedmon.

It caught him off guard and he turned. He laughed. “Oh look, it’s a flower fairy.”

“Shut up.” Blossom growled. “I’m taking you down!”

The Piedmon laughed again. “Of course you are. TRUMP SWORD!”

Blossom managed to zip out of the way. She flew at Piedmon, her foot outstretched. Her foot collided with Piedmon’s chest, but he took the opportunity. He grabbed her foot and threw her straight into a building. The cries of Blossom’s friends could be heard from below, but they turned into sighs of relief when the flower girl zipped out from the cloud of dust.

“FLOWER CUTTER!” Blossom yelled, kicking the air. Sharp flowers, almost like blades, shot at Piedmon. He avoided the attack with ease.

“Isn’t this sad.” Piedmon said. “TRUMP SWORD!”

This time Blossom wasn’t as lucky. She managed to move, but the sword grazed her arm. She winced and clutched her shoulder. Blossom smirked. “I’m not giving up that easy! FLOWER CANON!”

Piedmon dodged it and flew at her. He grabbed her wrist and smirked. “This, my dear, will be your final performance!” With that he threw her downward with surprising strength. He watched as she fell down, too shocked to do anything. He listened to the crunch of metal as she hit the hood of a car and he listened to the anguished cries of her friends.

But Blossom wasn’t through yet. As her friends hurried towards her, Blossom sat up. She narrowed her eyes up at Piedmon. She shakily got to her feet.

“Blossom, no!” Ag cried. “Your too hurt and he’s pounding you!”

Blossom ignored him. She took off again, flying more slowly than she did before. Her wings seemed to be holding her up, and a look of pain was set on her face.

“That’s it.” Ag said, turning from MetalGreymon to WarGreymon. “I’m going up there and getting her!” With that he took off after her.

Blossom reached Piedmon, who was smirking. She held out her arms. “FLOWER-”

“TRUMP SWORD!”

“BLOSSOM!”

Kotone’s shrill scream pierced the air.

Blossom was still suspended in the air. But Piedmon’s sword had gone right through her. Her wings were no longer beating. The blade was the only thing holding her up. Blossom’s eyes were wide for a second, then she let out a grim laugh. Blossom looked towards Ag, who had just reached them. Though his face now showed a look of horror.

“Onii-sama…” Blossom began. “You were right… I’m in over my head.”

The sword flew back into Piedmon’s hand. Blossom’s eyes shut and she fell backwards and began to head for the earth. Ag managed to catch her then land, the Lillymon hanging limply in his arms. She didn’t move, didn’t open her eyes, didn’t do anything. He set her down on the sidewalk and Mame, Trey, and Kotone ran up.

“BLOSSOM!” Kotone screamed, dropping down to her knees. “BLOSSOM! BLOSSOM ANSWER ME!”

“Blossom…” Trey whispered.

Blossom finally stirred. She opened her eyes halfway and smiled at Kotone. “Hey… why… why the long face?”

Kotone let out a sob and buried her face in her hands. “B-Blossom no! D-Don’t die! Don’t die!”

Trey knelt down beside Blossom. His eyes were glazed with tears. “Blossom…”

Blossom smiled at him and grabbed his paw with her hand. “Trey, love ya always.”

“I love you too…” Trey said. He leaned over and gave her one last kiss on the lips, then drew back. Then Blossom’s eyes shut completely and her head rolled to one side. Her hand, which had been clasped around his paw, went limp and fell at her side.

“BLOSSOM!” Kotone screamed, tears gushing down her face.

With that Blossom’s data broke apart. Leaving only the bracelet Trey had given Blossom long ago. The one she absolutely never took off, not for anything. Trey gently picked it up and let out a sad sigh.

Ag himself had tears in his eyes. He then looked up to see the Piedmon smirking down at them. Ag let out a cry of rage. He flew back up towards the Piedmon and swung blindly at him. When he missed he fired a Terra Force at him, which threw Piedmon back into a building. Piedmon flew back out at tried to fire his Trump Sword attack at him, but Ag moved to the side and fired another Terra Force at him.

“YOU KILLED HER!” Ag roared. “YOU KILLED BLOSSOM! YOU KILLED MY SISTER!”

“Aw, isn’t that sweet.” the Piedmon laughed. “I killed your sister. Let me tell you, it was rather easy. She was reckless and very inexperienced. She was just begging me to delete her.” He smirked. “Do you wish to join her? It can be arranged, very easily actually. All you have to do is hold-” With that he threw his sword straight at Ag.

Ag dodged and let out another wordless cry of rage. He flew at Piedmon full speed and slashed at him with his claws. The attack got in and Piedmon flew back into a building. He started to fly back at towards Ag, but he never made it.

“TERRA FORCE!”

The orange orb grew between his claws and he hurled it straight at Piedmon, his anger and fury giving the attack more strength than usual. With a final scream, the Piedmon’s data broke apart.

Ag returned to the ground, panting slightly. He looked at Kotone, who was still crying her eyes out. Then he looked at Trey, who looked like he was about to join Kotone in her sobbing. But instead he just stared at the bracelet in his paw, his eyes glazed with tears and a mixed expression of the uttermost sorrow and complete and total shock. He looked around. More tamers were arriving by the second. He’d take Kotone and Trey home first… they were in no condition to fight.

With that he began to lead them back towards Kotone’s home. No one said anything. When they reached the house, Kotone burst into tears again and ran into the house. Demon, who was now full-grown, ran out and barked happily. He stopped and began looking around for Blossom, his tail wagging.

“She’s gone boy.” Trey said quietly. He walked past the dog, gave him a small sorrowful pat on the head, and disappeared inside.

Demon didn’t seem to understand. He began to sniff the air, trying to catch Blossom’s scent. When he could not, he sat down and began to wait.

Ag sighed. “Lets go Mame. The city needs us.”

Mame nodded and with that the two digimon walked off together.

Ag and Mame didn’t return till the next morning, right before dawn. The door was open and the light in the kitchen was on. Ag walked in and saw Kotone, sitting at the table and drawing away. She was in a white nightgown and you could tell she hadn’t stopped crying since they’d left.

“Kotone,” Ag said gently. “its very early in the morning.”

“I can’t sleep.” was Kotone’s weak reply.

Ag noticed for the first time that Demon was not asleep, as he normally was. He was sitting up, alert as ever. As if… as if he was waiting for someone.

“Where’s Trey?” Ag asked, looking around.

“I think he fell asleep down in the gym.” Kotone answered, not looking up from her drawing.

Ag, now curious as to what she was drawing, walked over and looked at it over her shoulder. It was unfinished, but it seemed to be a very brief summary of Blossom’s life. The first image was of a surprised looking Kotone holding the newly hatched Yuramon. The second was of a happy Tanemon chasing a butterfly. The third was of Ag a putting her into a chokehold. Both of them were laughing and he was playfully rubbing his fist into the flower on the top of her head. The next image was of Blossom and Trey sitting side-by-side. Trey had his arm around her and Blossom had her head on his shoulder, a blissful smile on her face. The last image, though unfinished, wasn’t of Blossom. It was of the city in ruins, and the face of the laughing Piedmon could faintly be see.

“Wow…” Ag said, rather sadly.

“I’m going to go get some rest…” Mame said, descending down the stairs.

Kotone let out another small sob. “Ag…”

Ag sighed, his eyes filling with tears. “I know Kotone…”

Kotone dropped her sketchbook and her pencil. She buried her face in her hands. It was clear she was crying again. Sobbing, more like it. Kotone looked up at Ag, her robin-egg blue eyes filled with tears. “Ag… I can’t believe it happened again… it happened again.” She let out gasping breath. “And to Blossom… Blossom… how could this happen? She was always… so… so…”

“Stubborn.” Ag said sadly.

Kotone, you won’t have to worry about one of us dying. For one thing, I don’t plan on it. And Blossom’s way too stubborn to die…”

Hey!”

You know its true!”

Ag let out a sad sigh. “I’m going to bed, alright?” He looked at her, concern on his face. “Are you going to be alright?”

“Eventually.” Kotone said, wiping her eyes.

Ag sighed and retreated up the stairs. As he lay down on his cot, he was filled with sorrow. It finally sunk in that Blossom had been deleted. And the many pictures of her on the walls did not help. Ag sat up and crawled on top of Kotone’s bed. He looked over to the other side. Blossom’s cot was still there, blankets askew and thrown this way and that. Ag sighed and sat back down on his cot.

Why don’t you ask Miss. Miracle Grow over there…”

Well Blossom, glad to see your hearing is intact. I was worried when you didn’t hear me last night when I yelled at you to stop snoring…”

Your in way over your head Blossom! Stop being so cocky!”

“Dear God… I never even told her.” Ag whispered to himself. “I never told her she was like the sister I’d never had…”

“Yeah,” said a familiar female voice. “but I knew.”

Ag gasped. No. It was impossible. He’d watched the Piedmon run his sword right through her. He’d caught her. He’d watched as her data broke up… Ag slowly turned his head. As he did so someone whispered to him, “Catch ya later onii-sama…”
