disclaimer; i still don't own anything.. 'kay?
enjoy.

Walking down the hall, I organized my palm pilot cell phone, making sure I wouldn’t miss any important dates or events. It had been a present from my parents for my birthday, and my brother Sora had gotten one, too. The teachers didn’t care about that type of thing in the halls; they couldn’t care less, actually…

“Are you even listening to me?” Blinking a few times, I looked up to see Axel giving me a questioning stare behind those thick rimmed glasses as he raised one of his eyebrows.

“Yeah, sure,” Putting the electronic device into my pocket, I smiled. “I’m all ears,” Liar

“So I was thinking,” Axel continued, draping his arm around my shoulder, his head leaning down towards mine, “We’re best friends right?” he asked, and I nodded my head.

“Of course, Axel… Why?” something about his question scared me, but not as much as the devious smile that came across his face.

“Well, like I said, I was thinking…” he paused, his grin going ear to ear. “I’ve never been to your house before,” I stopped in my tracks, staring at my friend with a look of disbelief. He had to be joking…. “What?” he asked, raising his eyebrow again. “Riku’s always over your house with Sora and they’re best friends, right?” I felt my eye twitch.

“That’s different,” I snapped, starting to walk again, taking out my palm pilot. I knew what Axel was getting at and I wasn’t falling for it. I tried to look like I was distracted, to get off the subject, but I knew it wouldn’t help.

“C’mon, Roxy,” his arm found its way over my shoulder again, “I’ve been here six months, and not once have I even set foot across your threshold,” He was playing the guilt-trip card… damn him.

“Maybe you would have if you hadn’t pulled that stunt on me the first day you were here,” This time it was Axel who stopped. I turned to face him, and my blue eyes met his; we hadn’t talked about it before… ever.

“Oh c’mon Roxy, you liked it,” Well he sure bounced back from that one… Crossing my arms, a put came to my lips.

“Really? ‘Cause I can’t remember that,” Not that I could actually remember much of anything during that…incident, but Axel didn’t have to know that… Really, he didn’t.

“Well I can,” He has that devilish grin on his face again as he leaned against the locker next to mine. Shit. “And from what I recall, you sure are a moaner,”

“What?!” I smacked him in the arm before opening my locker, “I did no such thing!” He laughed. The sick bastard laughed.

“Do I need to prove it to you?” Shit. I dug my grave on this one.

“No! Besides,” I took out the books I needed for homework from my locker and shoved them in my backpack. “You wouldn’t try anything with people around,” This, I was confident about.

“What people?” …Huh? Looking up from my bag, I scanned the halls. No one. Had everyone really left that fast? And where the hell was the spiky haired bastard I called my brother? He was supposed to wait up for me. So much for that…

“Shit…” Slamming my locker, I threw my bag over my shoulder and made a run for the doors. I knew what was coming… He always tried this when we were alone. God dammit! My sneakers squeaked as I turned the corner, but something stopped me… He stopped me.

My shoulder slammed against the wall and my eyes squeezed shut, my heart racing in my chest. I opened my eyes to find them met with Axel’s green ones, his chest heaving; I must’ve given him quite a run, though I didn’t really run that far, did it? The grip on my shoulder loosened a bit, and my backpack fell from my other shoulder as I did the only thing I could do: just hopelessly stare up at him. I could feel his breath on my face, that’s how close he was. Another inch or so and the locker room scene would replay itself again…Only this time we’d both be clothed, something I was grateful for this time around.

“And you wonder why I don’t want you over my house with me alone?” I asked, and he smirked, letting go of my shoulder and backing off. After picking up my backpack I rubbed my other shoulder where his hand had been a moment before. “Dammit, Axel, way to almost break my shoulder,” I complained, looking up at him, but he only laughed again as he shook his head, putting his arm around me shoulders for the third time.

“It’s tough love, Roxy.”

It was eleven thirty. I rubbed my eyes in desperation, trying to concentrate on the glowing computer screen in front of me. I was extremely tired, for no reason in particular, but I had forgotten about an English paper that was due in two days. Damn palm pilot didn’t do shit. However, the sudden vibration from my phone on my desk startled me. I stared it down, hoping that maybe, just maybe, it would stop ringing… Nope.

Picking it up, I looked at the caller ID…Axel. What the hell? Shouldn’t he be sleeping or something? Sighing, I clicked the green button to accept the call.

“Hello?”

“Hay, Roxas, what’s up?” he was drunk. Oh dear lord.

“Cut the crap, Axel,” I snapped as loudly, yet as quietly as I could without waking my parents up.

“Okay, listen, I was at a party, and I got kinda drunk, and I can’t drive home,” his words were fast, slurred, and I could practically smell the alcohol through the phone.

“Your point?” I asked, debating whether to just hang up the phone that instant and get to working on my English paper.

“I need a place to crash for the night. Think you could help me out?” My stomach dropped. He was joking, right? This was the alcohol talking… He wasn’t serious… “Please, Roxy? Your house is the closest, and I couldn’t trust anyone else with this,” Sighing, I ran my fingers through my hair.

“Alright, fine. How long is it gonna take you to get here?” I asked, my voice clearly not agreeing with my answer, but I doubted he would tell anyway.

“I’m outside your window,”

Whaaat?!” Getting up from my chair I made my way over to my window and looked down, where, sure enough, there he stood, waving at me… like the drunken idiot he was. Hanging up the phone I put it on my bedside table and opened the window. “Hurry up and get in here,” I whispered loud enough so he could hear. Using the tree next to my window, he climbed up and into my room, clumsily of course, but with much more skill than I imagines him to have.

“Thanks, Roxy, I owe you one,” he said as he plopped down on my bed after kicking off his shoes and putting his glasses on my bedside table. He then proceeded to take off his shirt and pants until he was left in nothing but his boxers, but I pretended not to notice as I sat down and saved my work on my computer.

“Correction,” I stated, turning around in my chair, “You owe me your life,” I corrected him, taking off my shirt, and crawling over him to get into my bed. “And don’t hog the bed or you’re sleeping on the floor,” I grumbled, getting under the covers. What I got for a reply was a mumble and an arm draped around my waist. I tensed at the contact and rolled over to tell him off, when I found him staring back at me. My eyes widened, and I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks as I sensed him moving closer. I could smell the alcohol on his breath. “Axel…?”

There was no reply. Or, at least not a spoken one, anyway. Before I knew it, his lips were on mine again, one hand on my cheek and the other holding my hip, much like he had done before. The feeling of his tongue on mine was awkward at first, but I loosened up to the sensation. I could taste the alcohol now, but his own taste overwhelmed it, and it suited him. My hands soon found their way into his hair, and the next thing I knew he was on top of me, one hand next to my head and the other I could feel next to my waist.

His lips moved to my neck, sucking and licking; he was right, I was a moaner. Dammit, I need to stop that… Wait, why are his hands going down there?! Shit!

With a kick of my leg, a thud, and an “Ow!”, Axel was then on the floor. Rolling over in my bed to face my wall, I crossed my arms. I could still feel the heat in my cheeks and my neck was still sore. Advantage taking bastard… The alcohol had made my lips numb.

“Good night, Axel.” All I got was a mumble for a reply.
